Graphics Application in Python Using OpenGL
Szentandrási, István ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work was to study the possibilities of the Python programming language in computer graphics and to determine its competence in this field. To achieve this the cross platform Python binding to OpenGL and related APIs, PyOpenGL was used to create a demo, and compare it in many ways to an implementation of the demo using the standard OpenGL C API. As the result Python was found in average twice as slow as the alternative C~demo and using much more CPU~load. Because of this fact PyOpenGL is not advisable in professional applications. On the other hand Python has an extensive standard library, very useful specialized libraries, simpler syntax, which makes it ideal to use in education.

Application Database Layer Generator
Kuboš, Jaroslav ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a framework for the database persistence layer development. This framework is easy to use while keeping the code elegance. It supports object oriented programming features such as inheritance and collections. Other features include versioning of objects and lazy loading. The object metadata are obtained through reflection provided by the .NET framework. The framework is not using any literal for identification (classes, attributes) even in object queries. Most of checks are done by compiler.

Analysis of an Electromagnetic Wave on the Boundary between Electromagnetic Materials
Kadlec, Radim ; Lazar, Josef (referee) ; Macháč, Jan (referee) ; Kroutilová, Eva (advisor)
The proposed dissertation thesis contains an analysis of conditions on the boundary between layers having varied electromagnetic properties. The research is performed using consistent theoretical derivation of analytical formulas, and the underlying problem is considered also in view of multiple boundaries including the effect of the propagation of electromagnetic waves having different instantaneous speed. The author presents a survey and formulation of the basic characteristics of methods used for electromagnetic wave propagation analysis; in this respect, special emphasis is placed on radial models. The processing of the topic involved the designing and verification (using a set of different, layered planar materials) of algorithms to analyze the electromagnetic field components. The algorithm was assembled to enable simple evaluation of all components of the electromagnetic field in relation to the speed of the wave propagation in a heterogeneous environment. The proposed algorithms are compared by means of different numerical methods for the modelling of electromagnetic waves on the boundary between materials; moreover, electromagnetic field components in common points of the model were also subject to comparison. When in conjunction with tools facilitating the analysis of material response to the source of a continuous signal, the algorithms constitute a supplementary instrument for the design of a layered material. Such design enables the realization of, for example, recoilless plane, recoilless transition between different types of environment, and filters for both optical and radio frequencies.
Verification of thermal-insulation properties of the foil materials
Šot, Petr ; TROJAN,, Karel (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with verification of thermal insulating property of thermoreflection foil insulations. The teoretical part of thesis focuses on the energy demand of buildings, the problems of heat transfer material, terms required for study of thermoreflection thermal insulation and experimental methods for determination of thermal insulating properties of insulators. In the next part the chapter is accompanied by an overview of the most common insulation materials which used in construction. The last part of teoretical part is devoted to the description of thermoreflect formation and analysis of the spread of thermal insulating layers of thermoreflection thermal insulation. The first part of thesis is devoted to the use of thermoreflection therm insulation in buildings. The second part of thesis is devoted to the design, assembly and calibration of the measuring device that uses a method of protected warm chamber. It is declared as a binding method of detection of the heat transfer performance of thermoreflection thermal insulation. The developed measuring device allows detection of endpoints in some direction of propagation of heat. Measurment of heat transfer coefficient devoted the third part of practical part. This part contains a description of the samples used for the measurement of the heat transfer coefficient. In the fourth chapter of the practical part are presented the results of the heat transfer coefficient measurments on selected samples of thermoreflection foil insulation. It is shown the characteristic of heat transfer coefficient of individual samples, the dependence of the heat transfer coefficient on the position of the sample in the measuring device and the recommendation of an appropriate use of sample in the works for the climatic conditions of the Czech republic. The work concludes the chapter of comparing and evaluating of all samples with practical recommendations.
SDL model for Source Specific Multicast
Záň, Stanislav ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with questions of IP net communication, with using metod Source-Specific Multicast. It focused on questions of registration, unregistration and administration of clients in multicast group and IGMP protocol, which is made for this communication. Work deals also about problems of signalization between source of data and clients of multicast group. In the introduction of this work questions of communications in multicast are analyse. I tis followed by the chapter focused on the specific metod of multicast – Source Specific Multicast (SSM). Next chapter is based on the protocols in SSM, which are used for distribution of data stream in source to clients direction and also in the reverse direction. The net chapter deals with signalization of communication in SSM. It specializes for reflection and summarization metods, which are used here. This chapter also shows basic matematics formules for sending signalization packets and proposes other solutions and ways for simplify communication and minimalize delay, which is for signallization very important. After that, the work deals with differences between these two metods of signalization. The aplicationis builded in practical part of work from the knowlidge of theory from previous chapters and it simulates the real communication between data source and clients situated to multicast group. This communication is explained in MSC diagrams. The aplication also simulates both used metods of signalization and real count of cients in multicast group. The results of simulation are interpreted in the last part of work.
Thermal baths Yverdon, five senses in architecture
Lišková, Nela ; Uřídilová, Marcela (referee) ; Koleček, Ivan (advisor)
The spa area is located in western Switzerland in Yverdon-les-Bains, which extends along the southern shores of Lake Neuchâtel. The aim was to replace the current Spa complex which capacity and operationally not meet today's requirements and also to increase capacity accommodation in the form of hotel. New spa complex is placed as solitaire in the area between the spa parks which creates fluent transition between them. Spa function is divided into multiple objects that have their own character, but which in their complexity creates one house. These objects "float" on the surface of the water, unites them and divides its operations at the same time.
