The Importance of Graphical Symbols in the Region Formation Process: the Case of the Liberec Region The thesis analyzes the role of symbols and graphic symbolism in the process of regional and spatial identity formation in the context of the theory of institutionalization of regions by A. Paasi. The goal of the thesis is to contribute to a scientific discussion of this topic using the example of a specific region - the Liberec Region. In the theoretical part of the thesis, general studies of spatial identities, mainly with regard to creating the symbolic shape of region, are discussed, and the importance of symbolism in forming the region, its spatial identity and power relations is assessed. This section aims to define the key concepts, terms and also types of symbols used in this study. In the research part of thesis, first, the selection of the studied area is justified (region with intensively changed landscape), and, second, its situational analysis is presented, focusing mainly on the social phenomena and elements which could play role of regional symbols. Logos in Aristotle's ethics

The aim of the diploma theses "Logos in Aristotle Ethics" is to interpret meaning of the term "logos" in Aristotle's work "Nicomachean Ethics". The basic methodical guideline is the structuralist assumption, that a meaning of a term is determined by its relations to other terms contained within the text, and the related assumption of unity of the meaning of the term "logos". The interpretation itself first analyzes structure of several crucial terms, most importantly the relation of a human individual to the society, the concepts of the good, the reality and the possibility, the true and the illusory, and the concept of the natural. The structure of use of the term "logos" is then analyzed in relation to these concepts. These investigations are completed by analysis of the terms of virtue and action. By the means of the structural analysis of these terms, the existence of a distinctive level of reality is established, which is captured by the term "humanity". The existence of humanity is the central point of interest in Aristotle's ethics. In the horizontal regard, there are two poles of humanity - the individual human and the society. Annotation: This bachelor's thesis is engaged in care of the soul as a task and possibility for a person who tries not only to cultivate and educate themselves, but also to be good - as a good and just citizen who contributes by good lives of all people around them through reciprocity and responsibility for human souls. And mainly those who try to be good and focus on true ideas and try to live authentic life of enhanced being in truth, justice and especially good. All people hold this wonderful possibility in their hands and it is only up to them which way they choose.

Analysis of political communication

Political communication plays a crucial role in politics. It justifies, it critizices, it promises and it explains. All those activities have one in common - they try to persuade. Politicians want to persuade us that their claims are truthful and morally right. At that, they can choose from a wide variety of means - from argumentation to manipulation. On the receiving end of the communication, there is a voter who can also choose from a wide variety of ways in which it is possible to accept those claims. Lest the democracy should fail, it is advisable to pay attention to those options.
Care of the soul by Jan Patočka and its necessity in the constitution of humanity

The work deals with the idea of caring of the soul, as presented by Jan Patočka and its necessity for the constitution of humanity, which seeks to do good on the personal, societal, and global, ecological level. The first part deals with the care of the soul by Socrates and in the Platonian polis, there are highlighted some concepts related to education of its guardians. Then there are described three existential movements, which Jan Patočka educes from the care of the soul and its three aspects. In another part is firstly implied relation between the care of the soul and philosophy, and then the original theme and herewith the aim of these two activities. The last part is an attempt to show how it can happen, that we are talking about ?succour from philosophy?, then how to use the care of the soul for we could see the world as our home and what the consequences will be there, when we don't care of the soul and instead we paying attention only to the exact knowledge of modern science.

ABSTRACT: The thesis is focused on "Groceries with Protected Designation of Origin and Protected Geographical Indication, from central areas of France." Thesis is divided into three parts. After a brief adumbration of the topic, the description of existing protected labels and basic legislative of EU concerning this problematic will follow. The second part will be geographical, where we look closer on the position of central France and discus the list and characteristics of districts of this area. Third the most extensive part will include list and characteristics of specific grocery products protected by copyrights. The thesis contains an extended resume in French language.
