Education and the Educational system and its relation to labor market in Pardubice region

This thesis deals with the educational system and its links to the labor market in the Pardubice region. The paper analyses the education system and the labor market in the Pardubice region. The main goal of this work is to illuminate the relationship between the education system and opportunities on the labor market. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts that are related to education and the labor market and legislative treatment of education in the Czech Republic. The practical part briefly focuses on the education system and the labor market in the Czech Republic, detailing the educational system and the labor market in the Pardubice region. It characterizes all levels of education, labor market developments in the region and analyses the number of vacancies with respect to graduating people. In conclusion the link between the education system and the labor market are evaluated. The results of this thesis suggest that the education system is not completely compatible with the labor market; however, there is a tendency for Regional Council to adapt the education system to suit the demands originating from the labor market.
E-learning as a phenomenon of information society

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of e-learning and its importance in current information society. Using information and communication technologies in everyday life was the main reason to include them in education too. The goal of thesis is complexly define electronic learning as another instrument in education, view on factors which are closely connected with it and recognition of developments and trends which e-learning goes to. Next on the base of accomplished analysis note on positive and negative effects on society and also on importance of individual knowledge and individual's critical thinking. Theoretical framework at first defines the basic terms like data, information, knowledge and education, which are more used in the rest of the work and without their clear definitions is work useless for potential reader. As next deals with both views on information and communication technologies, describes information society and its main characteristics, especially importance of information and its essential role for economy. Following chapter is focused on e-learning as an extensive topic. Defines electronic learning as a complex unit, from historical development to nowadays. Also includes variants of e-learning, persons which are involved in and modern trends as the last like Massive Open On-line Courses or m-learning. Key part of the work is analysis applied on electronic learning and presented in SWOT form, where are described identified particular factors. With summary of analysis deals next chapter. There are chosen factors discussed in common with available statistics from Czech Statistical Office and on this continues last part, which is focused on positive and negative effects on society. Recommendations resulting from the work are listed in the end of the thesis.
Secondary education in Czech Republic and comparison between public and private forms of financing

This bachelor project is divided into three main chapters. First aims on development of secondary education in Czech Republic. Second part should provide information about secondary educational system, types of schools, types of founders and the way the schools are financed. Last chapter contains comparative analysis of funding two grammar schools in Prague. Namely public grammar school Špitálská and private Austrian grammar school.
Cybernetics and information literacy

Diploma thesis focuses on cybernetics and information literacy with emphasis on the human element in these topics. The first part describes cybernetics with its two basic terms, which are information and management, as a theoretical resource for subsequent detection of information, resp. internet literacy among students of high scholls and universities. The practical part includes creation of questionnaire, articulation of hypotheses for factual and perceived level of information literacy and subsequent interpretation results of the questionnaire. Addressing the respondents was held by deputy director of one prague high school, through social networks and also by direct addressing. This part reports the information about the level of information literacy with sense of constraints that results contains. Explanatory power of the results of the questionnaire survey is mentioned in the conclusion of this thesis.
Education and the Educational System in the Moravian-Silesian Region and its connection with labour market

The aim of the thesis called Education and the Educational System in the Moravian-Silesian Region and its connection with labour market is to answer the question whether there is a connection between the educational system and the labor market in the Region. The thesis is divided into four major sections. The first charter describes the system of education and the labor market in general. Basic principles and concepts of this issue are described there. The second chapter provides information on the educational system and the labor market in the Czech Republic, including legislation and basic conceptual documents. The third chapter deals with the educational system in the Moravian-Silesian Region and provides an overview of the structure of students and graduates of secondary and tertiary education institutions in the region. The fourth chapter summarizes labor market issues in the Region with a focus on employment and unemployment in the region. The chapter ends with evaluating the structure of vacancies in the region. The results of the thesis suggest that while the offer of courses at secondary and tertiary education institutions largely meets the demand for labor in the region, the level of education does not.
Analysis of training and development in a company of the financial sector

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the process of employee training and development in a company of the financial sector. Training and development are one of the most important activities in human resources management and they should be paid more attention in company administration. This paper deals with the importance, nature, and structure of training and development on a theoretical level. The practical part of this paper examines how these processes are carried out in the anonymous company XY. At the end, it introduces SWOT analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improving the employee training and development in the company XY.
Analysis of the corporate educational system

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the educational system in Česká pojišťovna a.s. The first, theoretical part clarifies the basic terms related to the corporate education topic. These will be the base for the analysis of the educational system. First part is followed by practical section, which describes educational system in Česká pojišťovna a.s. The main objective of this thesis is to describe the processes and methods used for the employee's education and to compare it with literature. If necessary, I will submit proposals which could lead to the improvement of the education system.
Education in the Czech Armed Forces with emphasis on motivation

Building on in-depth study of specialist literature, the present diploma thesis seeks to define the Czech Armed Forces' education system and determine whether the system is motivating enough for the Czech Armed Forces service personnel. The practical goal was to identify opportunities to improve academic training of employees in military organisations, for which a questionnaire survey was used to establish opinions of Czech Armed Forces service personnel on the provision of their education and academic training, their attitude on the need to study foreign languages, usability of languages in their service assignments as well as ascertaining importance of education as a motivating factor for people to join the Czech Armed Forces. The following methods were used to achieve the objectives: induction and deduction, study and analysis of texts and documents, comparison, focus groups, participant observation and interviewing. The goal set for the thesis was achieved, as has been proven by the means of established hypothesises and their verification. The methods employed ascertained that the Czech Armed Forces has a well set system of service personnel training that facilitates an effective education system management.
Globalisation and it´s impacts on labour market

The first chapter familiarizes with globalisation and defines it's basic fields of impacts. Within these impacts belong space-time compression, economic and environmental impacts, effects of globalisation on economic power of states and it also gives argumets for topic of inequality of economic and social growth. The second chapter describes impacts of globalisation on labour market. It concerns changes in international spatial division of labour and impacts on global unemployment, that is connected with technological progress and automation. It deals with topic of international migration and brain drain, that every economy has to face. It evaluates competitiveness of human capital of Czech Republic on the basis of basic and tertiary education, risks of brain drain in Czech Republic and computer skills of czech population. The third chapter summarizes conclusions from previous chapter and gives comments, observations and recommendations.
Vzdělávání a rozvoj pracovníků jako nástroj zvyšování konkurenceschopnosti firmy Škoda Auto a. s.

Diplomová práce je zpracována na základě dvouroční praxe ve firmě Škoda Auto v oddělení Personalistika managementu, konkrétně pak ve skupině personálního rozvoje. Mezi cílové skupiny tohoto oddělení patří studenti, trainees (absolventi vysokých škol), uchazeči do managementu a management. Cílem práce je v teoretické části představit problematiku vzdělávání a rozvoje z hlediska zajištění konkurenceschopnosti firem. V první kapitole práce je popsáno řízení lidských zdrojů a v druhé kapitole naváže na toto téma problematika vzdělávání a rozvoje pracovníků. Třetí část je věnována praktické stránce diplomové práce. Je zde popsána historie a současný vývoj firmy Škoda Auto a následně současný stav vzdělávání řídících pracovníků v podniku, se zaměřením na Trainee program. Tento program je následně detailněji popsán a jsou zde zhodnoceny všechny jeho kladné a záporné stránky. Nedílnou součástí je i průzkum mezi bývalými účastníky Trainee programu, z něhož je čerpáno při vytváření návrhů na zlepšení Trainee programu.
