Scene Analysis Based on the 2D Images
Hejtmánek, Martin ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
This thesis deals with an object surface analysis in a simple scene represented by two-dimensional raster image. It summarizes the most common methods used within this branch of information technology and explains both their advantages and drawbacks. It introduces the design of an surface profile analysis algorithm based on the lighting analysis using knowledge and experiences from previous work. It contains a detailed description of the implemented algorithm and discusses the experimental results. It also brings up options for the possible enhancement of the projected algorithm.
Deferred Shading
Starý, Petr ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
Work deals with design and implementation a tutorial for demonstration deferred shading technique and its possibilities. It explains lighting and shading principles in intuitive and interactive way. Deferred shading is a technique which determines pixel color after the geometry rasterization of the entire scene. In other words the processing of geometry does not interfere with the shading process.
Hierarchical Techniques in Lighting Computation
Ligmajer, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Navrátil, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with description of hierarchical techniques in global lighting computation. Here is explaining the importance of hierarchical techniques in lighting computation and shows method, how to use these hierarchical techniques in realtime radiosity and its extension to dynamic area lighting. These two techniques are described in detail in the first part of this project. In the other part is desing and implementation of application for dynamic area lighting computation.
Luxmeter
Vítek, Jiří ; Bereznanin, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a method of measuring working illumination and with a design of basic luxmeter, which has a range of measurment 50-1000 lx. The thesis contains a detailed description of individual detectors, a design of luxmeter connection and also includes a description of individual functional blocks. For the whole apparature is performed a suggestion of the printed circuit boards.
Advanced Techniques Demo Using OpenGL
Buček, Antonín ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis demonstrates advanced techniques using OpenGL. The work is conceived as a demo without any size restrictions. It focuses on creating 3D world, which consists of inner rooms complex. Some additional interesting objects, lighting and shadows enrich the rooms. Particle systems, which were used to create explosions, smokes and some other particle effects are described in the thesis, too. 3D machine models fight between themselves using laser beams and form the story of the demo. Important part of the work is a movement model which is applied to both models and avatar. Sound track completes the demo.
Application of LED in Lighting Technology
Kolář, Pavel ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with basic principles of Light-Emitting Diodes, their supplying, characterization of these light sources in relation to application in luminaires, possibilities of application in standard practice and economical contribution of LED technology. It's mainly drawn from internet sources to this topic because manufacturers and distributors of lighting technology like Osram, Siteco, Philips, Bergquist, Cree, LEDfield and other companies provide a lot of catalogs with technical parameters and examples of applications on their webs.
Možnosti měření a záznamu odrazných vlastností materiálů
Bálský, Marek ; Habel, Jiří
The aim of this paper is to analyse possibilities of measurement of reflective properties of materials used in the interior and to propose methods of recording of measured reflective properties of materials for calculation of multiple reflections in light scenes. One of the basic assumptions for definition of the appropriate methods of recording of measured reflective properties of materials is the analysis of input data and methods used for the calculation of multiple light reflections in computer graphics and capabilities of these methods in the lighting calculations.
Porovnání halogenových a xenonových světlometů z hlediska viditelnosti chodců
Bradáč, Albert ; Semela, Marek ; Škoda, Jan ; Sumec, Stanislav ; Kledus, Robert ; Bilík, Martin
This case study presents a comparison of visibility and recognisability (discernibility) of objects – pedestrians – on the road in rural areas at night on encounter with low beam headlights fitted with halogen lights and xenon (high-intensity discharge) lights in one and the same vehicle model. The study was inspired by the results of dynamic measuring of the reactions of vehicle drivers to the presence of pedestrians on the right side of the roadway, where the results indicated subsequent reactions of drivers driving a vehicle fitted with xenon discharge lights. The study is therefore concluded with a static comparison that confirms the factual findings.
Kvalita osvětlení a hodnocení zrakové pohody na pracovišti
Králiková, Ružena ; Badida, Miroslav ; Konkoly, Tomáš
The contribution deals with the evaluation of illumination of work in the manufacturing organization. The evaluation was performed by questionnaire survey and objectivised by measuring. The object of the investigation were all the staff who were willing to participate in an anonymous survey valuation visual comfort at your workplace. For the evaluation of the questionnaires were used basic statistical methods and evaluation methods of qualitative data.
Creation of Knowledge Database for Lighting Technology with the Possibility of Expert Query Processing
Krbal, Michal ; Sokanský, Karel (referee) ; Gašparovský, Dionýz (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This presented thesis is focused on the complex description of creation the database system for the lighting. The important static and dynamic parameters of light sources and luminaires are listed in the first part of thesis. These parameters are complemented by the measured values and their relationships. The next chapters of thesis are focused to description of obtained parameters, structural design, historical and expected development of individual representatives of light sources. In the following sections are described current state of used data formats of luminaires and the possibilities for describing of light sources. The database systems are created as a result of this thesis. These databases are used for collecting, sorting, searching and sophisticate comparison of the parameters of light sources and luminaires.
