The subject of my thesis is design a family house on a completely flat plot in Otrokovice. This new building is designed as permanent housing for a four member family and their appearance will fit into current building. The house is designed as a two-story, partially basement, with adjacent garage for one car. Circuit masonry in the basement is made of concrete blocks. Circuit masonry floors is lined with a brick blocks Porotherm. Whole building is insulated contact system. The roof of house forming two aisle roofs at different height levels, the structure of roofs creates wooden trusses. Part of the proposal is also thermotechnical, acoustic and fire safety solutions.

Graph-based dependency parsing
Wimberský, Antonín ; Schlesinger, Pavel (referee) ; Pecina, Pavel (advisor)
In the present work we study practical solution of dependency parsing's problem with help of graph algorithm for finding maximal spanning tree in oriented graph (multigraph). Advantage of this approach is very easily parsing of non-projective constructions. We represent the parsing sentence as an oriented multigraph, which vertices constitutes words of our sentence and edges symbolize (potential) relation between single pairs of words. Evaluation of edges we get from training data, it can be count for example as probability of relation between given two words, possibly in combination with other more advanced methods. Resulting maximal spanning tree gives then the dependency tree of our sentence.

Steel Structure of a Winter Stadium
Lobreis, Jan ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The work is focused on assessing the structure of urban winter stadium, which will be located in Brno - Komarov. Winter stadium is designed according to standarts of ice hockey with a capacity of approximately 7 000 spectators. Of the 5 850 seating, 1 050 stalls and 100 in the VIP areas. Construction of hockey stadium is made of steel and steel-concrete columns, which together with composit transverse beam, reinforced concrete slab and bracings provide rigidity. Columns are supported by a set of bored piles with capitals. Roofing of the main part of the winter stadium is designed using a flat space frame having a maximum height of 4,5 m. Roof for entrance halls are design by a system of truss girder and purlins, which are hardened bracings to increase spatial rigidity. The structures are made of steel S 355 and concrete C 25/30. For designing steel structures was used software Scia ENGINEER and IDEA RS. Steel columns and composit beams are calculated by hand calculation. The total length of the hockey stadium is 111,5 meters, width outside the entrance hall is 82,02 m and the total width at the entrance hall is 96,85 m. The height of the building at the highest point is 25,6 meters.

Distorted map pf the world according to daily newspaper MF DNES and SME
Špirko, Michal ; Trampota, Tomáš (referee) ; Končelík, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis "Distorted map of the world according to daily newspapers MF Dnes and SME" deals with the ways in which the most widely read newspaper in the Czech and Slovak Republic inform about world matters. Foreign news in surveyed newspapers MF Dnes and SME are examined by using a quantitative content analysis which particularly asks "how" and "why" some states pay great attention and others are ignored. The question of "how" is developed in the methodological section. This part establishes procedures by which knowledge can be achieved, and identifies factors that may be crucial for assessing the unequal attention to the individual states. The question of "why" refers to the theoretical part, which outlines the findings of media studies on the construction of media reality, as well as the characteristic features of media organizations and the creation of news content. Attention is also focused on the description of the contexts between analyzed media organizations and resources issues. The aim of the whole work is then to compose several distorted maps of the world by selected criteria, which reflect the world view as presented through the content of examined journals.

Construction of Periodic Railway Timetables
Kalický, Andrej ; Pergel, Martin (referee) ; Babilon, Robert (advisor)
In the propounded thesis author studies the periodic railway timetable. The aim of this thesis is to construct time shifts among train lines so that transfers between lines would be planned in the best possible way. Author discusses the problem to solve, and its differences from standard processing of periodic railway timetable construction. Author propounds and code 2 algorithms for optimization of given timetable. At the end of thesis the solutions and algorithms are compared based on statistical data related with the process of periodic railway timetable construction.

Architecture and Urbanism in Turnov in 1900-1938

Bouzouki: The National Greek Instrument
Zakos, Andreas ; Pecháček, Stanislav (referee) ; Kittnarová, Olga (advisor)
This diploma dissertation consists of seven main chapters which focus on the history, repertory, kinds, description, notation, folk modes, and biographies of important players and composers of the Bouzouki. The first chapter, called "The history of the Greek Bouzouki", covers the course of the instrument from its first appearance in the ancient Greece until today, describing the changes of the instrument and its connection with the people of each epoch. The second chapter is concentrated on the most important music genre Bouzouki performed, the Rebetiko style, and its importance to the Greek music. Furthermore, the Rebetiko periods and its subject matters are described. The third chapter is dedicated to the description, construction, analysis, and operation of the main and supplementary parts of the contemporary tetrachordo Bouzouki. The fourth chapter is commenting the playing positions of the Bouzouki. That means the way and of course the positions a player holds the instrument when he is performing, the way of holding the plectrum, and the position of each arm. The fifth chapter describes the tetrachordo-Bouzouki fingerboard and its modern notation. The sixth chapter is dedicated to the most important Greek folk musical modes the Bouzouki plays, the Roads, describing their melodic and harmonic structure....

Suffix array construction algorithms
Žoha, Pavel ; Lánský, Jan (referee) ; Dvořák, Tomáš (advisor)
Suffix array is a data structure used for string operations such as pattern matching. It is also useful for some lossless data compression algorithms. In this paper I present a comparison of several di erent ways to construct it (algorithms of Manber & Myers, Kárkkáinen & Sanders, Seward, Manzini & Ferragina and Ukkonen's algorithm for suffix tree construction). I implemented these methodes and together with common sorting algorithms (mergesort, quicksort, heapsort and shellsort) tested both on standard data les and on randomly generated les of di erent alphabet sizes. I also studied the possibility of using these algorithms for inputs of alphabet greater than 256 characters.
