Use systems for the analysis of gas flow

Environmental scanning electron microscope is explaining withdrawing of two differentially pumped chambers in a drawing area. To solve this problem is used finite volume method. This method includes several steps: - With using of mesh the area is dividing into discrete volume. - Discretization and balancing of the unknown quantities in each finite volume - Numerical solution of discretized equations.

The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the funding of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The first part of this thesis provides basic information on legal and institutional point of view of the AS CR and its previous institutions. It deals with current institutional framework of Czech research and development and its recent reforms. The second part of the thesis provides basic information about the last R&D reform that dramatically influences current situation of the AS CR and its future funding. It provides performance measurement of the AS CR and other institutions drawing the R&D financial sources based on comparison of the number of obtained patents, published books, articles etc. The current system of performance measurement of the Institutes of the AS CR is mentioned and compared with the evaluation systems used in foreign countries, e.g. in Italy and Germany. The conclusion summarizes the findings and on their bases judges the plans for future funding of Czech R&D considering the disclamer opinion of the AS CR.

Alteration: diminutives and augmentatives in contemporary Italian

The aim of this paper is to offer a complete picture of alteration in Italian, of the suffixes used, their meaning, and the frequency of their use. Apart of the necessary technical literature, we have employed the following work tools: electronic dictionaries (Lo Zingarelli 2007, Sabatini Coletti 2006, Il Vocabolario degli Accademici della Crusca), corpora (CORlS, La Repubblica) and text databases (Letteratura italiana Zanichelli 4.0, Factiva). We have also made use of examples manually excerpted from literary texts. The paper is structured into two basic parts. The first part (chapters I to V) is rather theory-focused and its aim is to present the actual knowledge on alteration in Italian. In chapter I we describe basic proprieties of alteration and demonstrate them on examples. In chapters II and III we study the semantics of alteration, first in general, then with regard to the single alterative suffixes. We draw up a very complete list of alterative suffixes and provide their characteristics, we attempt to systemize the suffixes according to their meaning, and we investigate historical background of some suffixes. Reflection of Solomon's reign

This thesis treats from a critical point of view the character of Solomon's reign. The time limitation takes in the period from Solomon's accession to the throne to his death and the subsequent separation of the Israeli kingdom. The thesis draws on The First Book of Kings and deals with a critique of Solomon's reign, the causes of the disintegration of the empire, a comparison of The First Book of Kings and The Second Book of Chronicles, which are the main sources for Solomon, and the confrontation between Solomon and his father David. The intention of the thesis is to introduce the period of Solomon's reign and to evaluate the contribution of his reign on Israeli people.

Feasibility study of the flood protection measures

The aim of bachelor thesis is feasibility study of the flood protection measures in Komin on Svratka river. Construction is divided by two building objects: ironconcrete small wall and sprinkled dike. That protection is constructed for peak flow Q100 and not influenced by safety elevation of 0,3 m. The output of work are drawings of construction and photodocumentation depicting the current status of the territory.

Evaluation of selected project financed from EU funds

European Union policy is to achieve regional development in the form of economic growth and social progress. The instrument for this purpose is drawing finances from EU structural funds and it is based on a project preparation and the application for the grant. The first part of thesis introduces the characterizations of the most important aspects of obtaining non-reimbursable financial contribution on which the applicant should focus. The other parts of the thesis contain a description and evaluation of completed residential project for the socially inadaptable citizens of the city. This project is analyzed in terms of allocation of financial resources and monitors qualitative benefits and benefits from its implementation.

Stárnutie pracovnej sily a veková diskriminácia na trhu práce

Discrimination as well as ageing populations are very discussed topics nowadays. It can be viewed from population, demografic or economic point of view. The aim of this paper is to discover, if those two concepts have some common economic relations with regard to labour market. We will see that Czech Republic is not any different from other EU member states in dealing with age discrimination, ageing populations or changing in productive age limits. In this paper I will model the situations in which age discrimination could, but does not have to occur, and I will give legal reasons for it. I will also show how the ageing populations influence labour market and what consequences does it have. I will compare the statistic data with my own research and draw a situation in Czech Republic. I will focus on population of higher age and with anonymous questionnaire I will describe this problem from their point of view.

The Theory of Coalitions in the Context of Elections to the Regional Board of Representatives in 2000 and 2004

The master thesis "The theory o f coalitions in the context o f elections to the regional board o f representatives in 2000 and 2004 " deals with formation of executive bodies at the regional level. The theory of coalitions, concerned exclusively with coalitions at the national level, is applied herein to a lower political level. This is contributed by the fact that in the Czech Republic the regional (as well as municipal) level operates on the same basis as the national level. The legislative body - the board of representatives - disposes of the direct mandate; from it the executive - the council - draws its own mandate. Thus, the effort to transpose the theory of coalitions to a specific environment of regional politics is hereby facilitated. This thesis commences with a theoretical introduction in which the theory of coalitions is presented, focused on the typology of coalition governments. The work follows with an analysis of the institutional aspect of regional politics. The regions as the new regional authorities of self-government needed to establish not only their structure of organization and certain powers, but also the electoral system through which the main body of the region would be filled. Návrh konstrukčního řešení sklopné postele včetně zabudované pracovní plochy do bytového interiéru

The thesis proposes a structural solution to the folding bed, which is combined with a workspace that even after folding of the bed itself remains in the horizontal position, and therefore it is not necessary to clear away objects lying on it. The proposed design is based on theoretical knowledge of the subject, which are collected and shown in the first part of the text. The solution is therefore supported by both technical and safety requirements as well as requirements for anthropometry and ergonomics, especially of beds, but also of desks. The structural design is drawn up using form of manufacturing drawings including bill of materials, economic evaluation of the level of direct material costs, and created visualizations. At the same time it is based on gathered informations by research of Czech market in supply area of folding beds which was evaluated in terms of price, design, and materials used in the manufacturing process.
