Tabery, Paulína
A December 2007 poll „Our Society“ showed that Czechs are proud of the peaceful Czechoslovakia break-up. But the public opinion is divided, whether this peaceful process was unique, or it was just a common way how to solve the problems in our political and geographic space: 45 % of Czechs say the peaceful break-up was unique, 39 % think it is a common way of solving problems.

Gabriel, Jan ; Chalupníček, Pavel (advisor) ; Minárik, Pavol (referee)
There are two main parts in this thesis. In the first one, we are focused on different approaches to the relationship of religion and government. We point out the influence of religion (both positive and negative) on individual. These issues are viewed from the perspective of some famous theories. For example: G.S. Becker's Accounting for Tastes, F. A. Hayek's theory of spontaneous order, H. Bergson's philosophy or M. Weber's sociology of religion. The second part analyses situation in Czech Republic and compares it to situations in Austria and Sweden. There are appendixes, which can be used as bases for new research.

Constitutional Conformity of the Purpose Assignment of Financial Compensation for Restitution of Churches: Study
Pejchalová Grünwaldová, Vladimíra ; Syllová, Jindřiška
Návrh zákona o zmírnění některých majetkových křivd způsobených církvím a náboženským společnostem v době nesvobody, o vypořádání majetkových vztahů mezi státem a církvemi a náboženskými společnostmi by teoreticky mohl obsahovat účelové omezení využití kompenzační náhrady. Do určité míry ano.

Economics of Religion: Analysis of Contributions in the Roman Catholic Church in the Czech Republic
Švejdová, Amália ; Schwarz, Jiří (advisor) ; Skuhrovec, Jiří (referee)
The bachelor thesis Economics of Religion: Analysis of Contributions in the Roman Catholic Church in the Czech Republic focuses on economics of religion in the enviroment of the Czech republic and especially the case of the Roman Catholic Church. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the situation of the religious market and the role and position of the Roman Catholic Church within it, in regards to participation in religious institutions, voluntary donations etc. By studying the relationship between the state and church and it's determined financing system it is possible to set the model for the degree of financial participation of the church's members (voluntary contributions). By using a regression analysis, a hypothesis is tested on specific empirical data - the amount of voluntary contributions, (un)employment, age, size of the church, and percentage of women in the population.

Women of the group UB 12 in the context of contemporary Czech culture
Štroblová, Kateřina ; Hoftichová, Petra (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
The era of the years 1948 - 1968 in Czechoslovakia was full of historical reversions and events. Also sociocultural scene passed in this period through important changes. From the repressions of the fifties through "the golden sixties" to the "normalisation" of the seventies; all in the shadow of communistic totality. Beside the official art under the dictate of socialist realism the antinomie movements occured here; connecting at prewar modem and avantgarde at the beginning. After enforcing the abandoning of the interdict of art groups, the artists began to associate themselves to different groups, based on friendship or collective artistic opinions. One ofthese groups was UB 12, founded in 1959. The artists ofthe group were of different age; beside of friendship the admiration for French culture and art and also the "poetics of everyday life" was the link between some of them. The group broke after the year 1968. Although the group wasn't united in artistic manners and didn't have the collective manifesto (which often led to its evaluation as average or inexpressive ), it assumed important place in the Czech art. Many of its members (like Václav Boštík, Stanislav Kolíbal, Adriena Šimotová) are considered as ones of the most outstanding artistic personalities of the Czech art of the second half of201 h...
