Časový horizont vstupu ČR do eurozóny není vůbec jistý. Tato nejistota se zvyšuje současnou politickou situací panující v ČR a zejména trvající celosvětovou finanční krizí. Všechny časové odhady se v této době rovnají velkým spekulacím. Resumé I choose the issue of the European Monetary Union with an emphasis on the European Central Bank as the theme of this work. The ECB plays in this group a key role. The euro area is a very important concept for the Czech Republic particularly in relation to our future membership. The aim of my effort is to analyze the current action, activity and possible evolution of the euro area in the context of the history of European monetary integration. An initial introductory chapter is followed by the word of the general characteristics of institutions of monetary union with some of its examples. I continue with the basic description of the European Monetary Union. The third chapter...

Current status of nature protection and management in Lužnice floodplain
Montagová, Martina ; Pithart, David
Lužnice floodplain has been preserved in a semi-natural state in a cca 25 km long section located between the state border and the town of Suchdol n L. Meandering river is surrounded by pools and oxbows, which are flooded several timeas a year. Most of the area is now the subject of nature protection. Microorganisms (Algae), water plants, birds and other wetland biota found a refungium here. Biodiversivity is maintained by river activity and mosaic structure of the landscape, formed by e pastures and wet forests. This character of landscape is now endangered by ceasing of meadow management, hence, the large parts of floodplain are now under the succesional stages leading to the wet forest in the decrease of overall biodiversity.

Pomahačová, Renata ; Sýkora, Josef (advisor) ; Hníková, Olga (referee) ; Kalvachová, Božena (referee)
1. Summary The first aim of our study was to find out the present occurence of H. pylori infection in a group of children with juvenile lymphocytic thyroiditis (JLT) and to compare with the prevalence of this infection in a group of healthy children of the same age. The group of patients with JLT included 199 children (range 0-18 years). H. pylori infection was confirmed in 15 patients (7,5%) by a non-invasive diagnostic test of H. pylori antigen positivity in stools by the ELISA test using monoclonal antibodies (Amplified IDEIQA HpStAR ELISA, DakoCytomation, Glostrup, Denmark). This H.pylori positive group included 14 girls and 1 boy aged 11,2 ±2,3. 6 children had hypofunction of the thyroid gland, in 3 children was established the atrophic form of the thyroiditis with severe hypothyroidism with presence of myxoedema, the other children suffered from the hypertrophic form of the thyroiditis. 7 subjects underwent gastroscopy which confirmed chronic active gastritis. Only 3 children had gastrointestinal symptoms caused by H. pylori infection, the other children were asymptomatic. This finding confirms common information about asymptomatic development of H. pylori infection in children in 90% of cases. The control group included 1545 asymptomatic healthy children in range of 0-15 years of the same geographic...

Hurych, Tomáš ; Palovský, Radomír (advisor) ; Pinkas, Otakar (referee)
This bachelor work deals with the design of a network infrastructure for a small company. Designing a network infrastructure consists of a link between two workplaces using a wireless connection and a realization of active and passive elements on both places of work. The thesis further looks into a design and realization of an application server in the MS Windows Server environment and a data storage running on a Linux kernel. That was achieved by the analysis of possible solutions of customer requirements, selection and putting the best of them into practice. The main contribution of this work is the design of a secure, functional and an affordable solution for a small company. The work is divided into three logical aggregates. At first it analyzes the current situation of the company and the specification of its requirements. Care for the oral cavity in a hospitalized patient
CINCIALOVÁ, Kateřina
The term oral hygiene includes a set of measures to prevent the origination of parodont and hard tissues and their progression. These ailments belong to the most common and frequent ones despite the fact they may be prevented by appropriate care and by the proper choice of oral hygiene aids. The most frequent problems are dental decay, dental plaque, gum disease. For each of us, good oral hygiene practicing daily is essential for preventing troubles mentioned above. During hospitalization patients often alter their habits and modes because of the disease and the stay out of home. In patients who are not self-administering and patients with limited capabilities it is the nurse who is in charge of providing the oral hygiene. Each nurse´s priority should be to meet all the patient´s needs and the proper oral hygiene is one the basic ones. I set four aims in my thesis. The first was to find out patients´view of the oral hygiene level at hospitalization. The second aim was to describe the standards of oral hygiene the particular ward offers the patients. The third aim was to compare opinions of self-administering and non self-administering patients. The fourth aim was to compare the role of a nurse in providing oral hygiene for self-administering and non self-administerin patients. The results of my research confirm the first hypothesis {--} hospitalization brings about changes in oral hygiene. Also the second hypothesis proved to be right {--} during hospitalization oral hygiene worsens in patients because they do not have enough possibilities to carry out all the procedures they are used to. The third hypothesis was confirmed, too. Nurses are familiar with oral hygiene aids and know how to use them. The fourth hypothesis that nurses do not ask patients to tell them what their oral hygiene habits are was true. I conducted the research by the questionnaire method and the method of a stuctured interview. The research samples were nurses and patients in following units - neurological, internal, surgical and orthopaedic - in the České Budějovice hospital, Inc. and in the Tábor hospital. Inc. The results of this research could be used as a feedback for hospital management to help improve patients´oral hygiene. It is necessary to take some measures in this respect. Nurses should be more active in getting information about patients´ oral hygiene aids and their hygienic habits. They should ensure the highest patients´comfort possible. Then their efforts will be rewarding.

Building and use of smaller computer networks
Kyzivát, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
The thesis describes the initial state of the computer network Basic Schools and Kindergartens Ohradní (ZŠMŠ Ohradní) in Prague 4 and then its reconstruction, which I largely contributed. ZŠMŠ Ohradní consists of four pavilions and from one building on the other side of the street. The aim of this study is to assess the initial state of the network and point out the shortcomings that we discovered. We found deficiencies in the operation stress tests, measurements and data cabling overall analysis. Original networks connectivity was 100Mb/s. Together with a colleague, we are network administrators. Furthermore, I am going to introduce a new form of network, which has identified deficiencies improved, by using on newer technologies. I will describe its structure, address allocation, active and passive components, and operated services. New network is capable of 1Gb/s, and its spine is going to be 10Gb/s soon. Benefits of this reconstruction is faster, more stable and more modern network that will facilitate the work of employees of ZŠMŠ Ohradní. To these improvements, I have mainly contributed by measurements. I participated in the design and implementation of new form of data network. I collaborated with fellow Poc to the configuration of active elements and network services in reconstructed network.
