Memes and the Theory of Universal Darwinism

The article deals with the philosophical presuppositions and groundwork of the memetics. The central question is an analysis of Universal Darwinism as a common and universal evolutional principle or pattern that always springs in every environment when there're fulfilled required conditions. An evolutional process could be possibly described like an algorithmic process that faces to the rise of organized orderliness. Darwinism in this generally universal sense points to a distinctness survival of any kind self replicated code of information that has some influence over its probability of replication. The article stresses methodological importance of memetics as it makes possible to introspect variety of cultural development from a simple unification perspective.

The Study of Systém and Process optimization of Service operation

This thesis is oriented on the automotive industry with the focus on the domestic producer of the vehicles – the Škoda Auto Company. It describes the subject of business in the mentioned company and subsequently it refers to the current trends of the automotive market in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the analyses` results of the after-sales services allied with usage of the Škoda-products it will propose their possible future progression. Thereinafter will the thesis concentrate on the description of the existing after-sales processes focused on the „through-pass“ of the vehicle through the authorised Škoda Auto service. It deals with the analysis of the service systems in detail using the tight cohesion of them. Modern technologies used in the current vehicles put significantly higher demands on their maintenance, which call for the continual optimization of the service processes with the maximal utilisation effort of the feedback. The appropriate personnel have become the necessity. For these purposes it will be recommended the introduction of the electronic multipurpose memory devices intended for the data collection. In the next step will the after-sale-service process be described with the focus on the usage of these electronic memory vehicle-keys with the reference to the procedural simplification of the maintenance operations. The final part of the thesis will evaluate the general contribution of the proposed resolution for the service processes as well as their users.

The process of recruitment and selection of employees: Possibilities of using psychometric on-line systems

This thesis discusses possibilities of using psychometric on-line systems in recruitment and selection process. The first part of thesis describes the process of recruitment and selection of employees and it attends to the characteristic of psychometric testing as one of methods of selection of employees. This part of work mentions the expanding trend of using on-line psychodiagnostics in recruitment and selection of employees. The second part of thesis focuses on possibilities of using the concrete psychometric on-line system in recruitment and selection process and it characterises work with this on-line system from user's view. It follows the description of recruitment and selection process with using of this on-line system for a specific position in situation of concrete company. The conclusion of thesis contains analysis of this process and it suggests some recommendations for doing recruitment and selection more effective.

The influence of implementation of DMS in a bank on its business processes

The topic of this thesis is an analysis of the influence of implementation of Document management system (DMS) on a selected process of a specific retail bank. The paper moves from a detailed characteristic of key terms, apart from technological aspects deals with the current legislature, continues on to the current state of the selected process and ends with a proposal of a new process. The thesis is meant for those who are interested in the field of enterprise content management, additionally it can offer motives for thoughts about electronization of documents and how it can be used to better the organization's services.

This thesis describes process of developing fully responsive websites. It is focused on decision-making process for selecting the right online presentation of the project or company, individual pitfalls and creation. Creation is then demonstrated on a fully responsive website that relies on knowledge gained in the theoretical part. The goal is to focus on individual differences of mobile devices and their software in conjunction with the development of applications and websites. The output is fully responsive web based on gained experiences from the theoretical part.

Methodical Technique of Makiwara Impact Training

Thesis title: Methodical Technique of Makiwara Impact Training Objective: The aim of the thesis is to create methodical technique of Makiwara impact training, detailed description and building of this punching board as well as its use while training. A further goal is to introduce the anatomy of the Seiken points of impact and their functional and anatomical changes that happen during the Makiwara impact training process. Methods used: To build the methodical technique of Makiwara impact training I set up techniques of direct and indirect observation and mainly a method of rating. Furthermore I interviewed people involved and collected the relevant data. Results: As an outcome of my thesis I created the methodical technique of Makiwara impact training, universal rules, training process stages and three alternatives of Gjaku Cuki impact. I introduced a manual how to build and assemble three different kinds of Makiwara. I described anatomical and functional changes of Seiken points of impact which happen during the Makiwara impact training process. Automatic code processing for GNU/Linux cores

Solves an automatic getting of profilation informations of the GNU/Linux's kernel. Solution is based on an interconnection of existing project gcov-kernel, Red Hat Test System and optional test suit. Red Hat Test system helps with an installation and setting up an computer. Modificated kernel by gcov-kernel provides profillations data of the running system. After all job is done, those informations are proceed into human readable form.

Integration of Latin America

The objective of the thesis is to describe and analyse the processes of integration in Latin America. The first part focuses on the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), especially on the reasons which caused the failure of the project. The second part targets the new born Union of South-American Nations (UNASUR), the motives for its creation and analysis of the actual state of affairs. The third part presents the current political situation which is crucial for the succesfull operating of the UNASUR.

Optimization of the process of recruitment and selection of employees

The aim of the thesis is based on the comparison and evaluation of the selection process and recruitment in three selected companies find the optimum process. The paper compares these HR processes with IT developer JetBrains s.r.o., a pharmaceutical company Shire Czech s.r.o. and company providing services in the field of facility management. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is devoted to basic theoretical knowledge concerning the chosen topic. In the second chapter describes the process of recruitment and selection of employees in individual companies. The third chapter contains a comparison of selected companies, their processes and are given recommendations for individual companies, which will help improve these processes. The fourth chapter is devoted to a number of possibilities to improve individual aforementioned processes to be more efficient and lead to optimal process of recruitment and selection of employees.
