SEO in terms of redesign and organic search
Brůnová, Kateřina ; Benda, Petr (advisor) ; Monika , Monika (referee)
This thesis deals with the decline in decrease of traffic to the website at their redesign or significant intervention into their content, in terms of optimizing websites for search engines. This issue is known acronym for SEO - Search Engine Optimization. The search part focuses on the functioning of the search engine algorithms, factors affecting traffic to sites and their success in the search results. It also describes the appropriate procedures for the planned redesign, a significant interference with the content of sites that always leads to a decrease traffic from organic search. These procedures should eliminate a decrease in traffic to a minimum. The practical part shows the functionality of the procedures described in the theoretical part of the work on real cases of websites of various sectors and the difficulties of those sites that have ignored these recommendations or not incorporated them correctly.

Research of windbreaks in a chosen cadastral area from the point of view of woody plants species´ representation and their health condition
Knoblochová, Martina ; Janeček, Miloslav (advisor) ; David, David (referee)
This thesis evaluates the current state of selected wind breaking types, looking at their species composition, condition and functionality. One of the most efficient precaution against wind erosion are wind breaking swathes of woodland, windbreakers. These woodlands protect adjoining land against wind erosion of topsoil, blowing away snow cover as well as lowering water evaporation. The right position in the landscape, species composition and a good state are important for windbreakers to fulfil the above mentioned function. In the Czech Republic, 29% of farmland is badly affected by wind erosion. The most affected areas are situated in the South Moravian region. For the purpose of this dissertation work, two areas were chosen. Both of them are situated in the district of Znojmo, where the highest level of wind erosion is found. Area 1 lies in the districts of Břežany, Čejkovice and Božice. Area 2 lies in the districts of Velký Karlov, Hrádek and Křídlůvky. In order to investigate suitability of current windbreakers, the state of potential natural vegetation, climate, geological, paedological and hydrological conditions will be investigated in both of these areas. For the assessment of the effect of windbreakers, methodology after Podhrázská (2008) was used. This methodology allows assessment of these trees as individual linear elements, but also as a part of a network of these elements. The assessed criteria will be, for example: position in the landscape, species composition, age, functional type, height, width and the number of rows. Furthermore, horizontal and vertical parameters will also be investigated. For the evaluation of the functionality of the network of elements, it is also crucial to look at the tree orientation, their position in relation to the terrain and the direction of the wind. Moreover, the distance between individual woodlands also plays a significant role. The effect of windbreakers on the landscape will be further assessed using classification system after Kolařík (2005). Over the course of this project, 22 windbreakers were selected for evaluating their functionality and a proposal for their re-establishment in the future was suggested.

Hygienic safety of outdoor playgrounds with sandbox
Abertová, Jana ; Borůvka, Luboš (advisor) ; Anna, Anna (referee)
Playgrounds represent danger of a direct input of hazardous substances into children`s organism, that`s why they require a special attention. The diploma thesis deals with hygienic safety of outside playgrounds with sandpits in scope of valid legislation and medical risks, which might be caused by contamination. The aim of the thesis is to assess the level of microbiological, parasitical and chemical contamination and hygienic safety of sand in outside playgrounds with sandpits in Hradec Kralove. To check the contamination, samples of sand were taken in outside playgrounds with sandpits destined for children in Hradec Kralove. Safety parameters of taken samples were rated according to notice No. 238/2011 Coll., about setting of hygienic requirements for swimming pools, saunas and hygienic limits for sand in sandpits of outside playgrounds. The evaluation of samples was concentrated on microbiological, chemical and parasitical contamination of sandpits, which was analyzed by Medical Institute based in Usti nad Labem. The influence of position of playground within the town (city center vs. outskirts), time of collecting samples and age of each sandpit were judged. The sandpits in Hradec Kralove in the years 2014 and 2015 were microbially contaminated over established limits only in one case. Parasitical or chemical contamination was not found in any case. Next conclusion is that sandpits at end of season are contaminated by microorganisms about 18 % more often than at start of season and at the same time that sandpits in city center are contaminated about 14 % more frequently than in outskirts. New sandpits are often contaminated by thermotolerant coliform bacteria than old sandpits. From the point of view of chemical contamination, sandpits in city center are more contaminated by chemicals, however statistical difference is not significant. The discovered values of sand at start and end of season were misrepresented by addition of sand in sandpits in the course of main season. Sandpits in Hradec Kralove had a high level of hygienic safety, which is determined in law No 258/2000 Coll., about protection of public health.

Winter Density of House Sparrow in Different types of Rural Settlements along the Czech – Austria Border
Oberpfalzerová, Michaela ; Zasadil, Petr (advisor) ; Šmejdová, Lucie (referee)
From the point of view of the Czech Republic in the last 80 years we can specify two periods, which had a significant impact on the general character and development in agriculture. The first period can be traced to the 50s of the last century, in which the concentration of agricultural production headed towards to factory farming. The second one began at the beginning of the 90s. At that time a sharp downtown of animal production occurred and the sooner concentrated production began, after the regaining by previous owners, to erode into what it is today private agriculture. This thesis aims tocontribute to a confirmation of rejection of the hypothesis that the above described changes have a negative impact on the selected avian species. These species are represented by significantsynanthropic birds: house sparrow (which is a crucial representative in this thesis), tree sparrow and collared dove. Thirty municipalities were chosen to emphasize the differences in quantity of these species, half of them located on each side of the border with the Czech Republic and Austria. The comparison of quantities of bird populations took place in the surroundings of the cities Znojmo and Retz.In this thesis the Republic of Austria acts as a country which has not been burdened by a substantial economic development and which has applied the continuous market economy since the end of the Second World War. In the individual squares the numbers of the representatives of the studied species and the environmental characteristics were recorded during the winter period. The significant differences in the numbers of birds at selected locations were demonstrated using a multifactor ANOVA STATISTICA 12. Moreover, the impact of selected environmental variables on the abundance of observed species was also analysed. It was found that the selected species depend on an inclusion into the individual states as well as on a classification into various biotope types. Finally, the dependence on the area of trees and bushes, the proportion of new buildings and the presence of poultry in the square were also observed. The most numerous species in the Republic of Austria was the house sparrow, the most abundant species in the Czech Republic was the collared dove. A slight increase in the occurrence of the collared dove was recorded in both states. Tree sparrow as a species occurred in relatively large numbers, but only locally. It was found that the populationsof the above mentioned species were generally more numerous in the Austrian municipalities. An interesting fact is that most of the observed individuals in the Czech Republic occurred in village built-up areas rather than in agricultural premises, as it was initially estimated.

Construction and scientific implementation of mathematical models for tree compartments of broadleaved trees in growth stages of seedlings and young stand
Pajtík, Jozef ; Konopka, Bohdan (advisor) ; Monika, Monika (referee)
Importance of precise estimation for tree biomass in forests has been continuously increasing. Regarding to the climate change, scientists have started to quantify all tree components not only in terms of energetic utilization but also for carbon stock estimation. Increasing relevance of biomass models for young trees relates to expanding area of young forest stands during the last period due to decay of old forests often caused by disturbances (especially: windstorms, outbreaks of bark beetles, drought episodes, and forest fires). Models for biomass stock estimations constructed for stands with age to 10 years are rare and usually are focused on aboveground tree parts. Thus, this work aims at filling knowledge gaps in this field. Its main objectives are: 1) construction of regression models applicable for estimation of dry mass in the particular tree components (i.e. stem, branches, foliage, roots) for young stands of some broadleaved species, 2) implementation of regression models for calculation of biomass conversion and expansion factors (BCEF), allocation coefficient, growth efficiency and leaf area index (LAI) and their inter-specific comparison, 3) utilisation of allometric relations for estimation on forage potential for ruminating ungulate game (i.e. browsing and stripping). To make up the models, destructive tree sampling will be implemented. The sample trees will be excavated, separated into tree components, dried for constant weight and weighed. Log-transformed relationships will be used for construction of regression models.

Surface runoff generation and its erosion processes
Kalibová, Jana ; Kovář, Pavel (advisor) ; Štibinger, Jakub (referee)
Research of model simulations of hydrological data for water resources studies and field and laboratory experiments testing the effectiveness of erosion control geotextiles using rainfall simulators is summarized in this dissertation. The results of the research have been used to suggest a water regime optimisation in the catchment of a former mining pit Medard-Libík. Although agricultural and forestry reclamation measures have been applied, rill erosion still appears on some slopes within the catchment. The soil loss and sediment transport result in the deterioration of the crop yield, cause damage on the road and drainage systems and also influence the quality of water in the lake arising by flooding the former mining pit. The first part of the dissertation provides a review on surface runoff and its erosion processes. Next, bio-technical erosion control measures on slopes are summarised. The third part of the dissertation is devoted to a simulation of surface runoff on a model slope in the Medard Catchment. The main aim was to test whether the KINFIL model is suitable for the simulation of the effectiveness of erosion control geotextiles and suggest an appropriate erosion control measures for the eroded slopes in the Medard Catchment. The KINFIL model seems to be a useful tool to quantify the effectiveness of individual erosion control products and measures in order to find the most convenient option. The simulations carried out in the dissertation corresponded to the results of field and laboratory experiments testing the impact of geotextiles on surface runoff and soil erosion published earlier. A well-balanced rainfall-runoff regime in the Medard Catchment would increase the stability of the landscape, reduce the cost of restoration of the damage caused by erosion to road and drainage systems and improve the water quality by elimination of the sediment transport. The results of this dissertation may be offered to the public administration or private stakeholders to control erosion within the reclamation of areas affected by mining activities.
