Records in the Land Register
Bulíčková, Karolína ; Žákovská, Karolina (advisor) ; Franková, Martina (referee)
Records in the Land Register This diploma thesis deals with the institute of records in the Land Register, which, due to Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, underwent numerous changes that needed to be reflected in legal regulation of the Land Register. At the time of writing this thesis, it has already been 6 years since the recodification of the Civil Code and changes associated therewith. Thus, it is possible to evaluate the legal regulation of records in the Land Register in its whole complexity. The thesis is divided in five parts that analyse different aspects of this legal institute. The first part of the diploma thesis outlines the historical evolution of the evidence of real estate itself for better understanding of current legal regulation. The second part of the thesis is focused on current legal regulation of the Land Register, its essential principles of holding the Register and extracts from the Land Register providing information about the state of real estate. The third part deals with the subject of evidence, as not all real property is being registered in the Land Register. Regardless the general description, the contentious part of the issue based on legal regulation is being involved in the description of each real estate as well. The fourth part of the diploma thesis aims to...
Records in the Land Register
Zemanová, Renáta ; Franková, Martina (advisor) ; Drobník, Jaroslav (referee)
This thesis is focused on the records in the land register. This topic still has its relevance in the contemporary world and can appear in any person's life. That was one of the factors why the author had chosen this area for analysis. The other was her overall interest in property law and registration. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first is focused on the land register by itself and its role as an important source of information. In the beginning of the first part some typical concepts related to the land register are introduced. The next section is dedicated to the brief history of the property registration which is considered to be useful for the better understanding of the contemporary legal regulations. Those are discussed in the next chapter together with the position of the land register by itself, its purposes, content and structure. The special attention is paid to the objects in question - concretely the properties registered by this institution. The second part of this thesis, the most extensive, focuses on the particular acts of recording into the land register - registration, record, note and respective proceedings. In the first part of the second section, the rights which are objects of the records are mentioned. The most commonly used is the right in property, which is...
Codes of dance improvisation: The case of Intuitive Dance
Orlova, Kseniia ; Zaccarello, Benedetta (advisor) ; Marcelli, Miroslav (referee)
The idea that dance can be understood as an act of communication and a form of language has been already taken into account by scholars. The hypothesis that will be discussed in this MA dissertation concerns a more specific matter: a semiotic approach to different forms of dance improvisation, and notably the method traditionally labeled "intuitive dance". To understand this phenomena two main concepts will be conveyed: that of "quotation" understood via W. Benjamin's essays on Brecht, and that of "notation", as defined by N. Goodman in his Languages of art. Can we understand dance as a language - id est a quotable and notable code - even in its more intuitive forms? How is it possible to "understand", "quote" and "address" gestures, even in front of a wide heterogeneous audience and without any prefixed choreography but only on the base of a free and in-time creating process? Can we understand improvisation as a complex code? what and how does this code mean? Keywords: improvisation, Intuitive Dance, semiotics, notation, gesture, Nelson Goodman, Walter Benjamin, dance, code

Legislation of farmers register
Radová, Jaroslava ; Světlíková, Daniela (advisor) ; Pavla, Pavla (referee)
The main goal of Master thesis Legislation of farmers register is to evaluate applicable legislations, which relate to farming business conditions based on Act no. 252/1997 Sb. About farming as amended, and related legislation. Theoretical part of this thesis deals with farming business terms interpretation that is specified by farming law and general legislation. This part also deals with condition for starting a business in farming, comparison with the legislation of the trade and administrative agenda evidence of agricultural entrepreneurs. It summarizes conditions for getting grant to farmers. The practical part describes influence of computerization of government on agenda performance of agricultural businessmen and analyse application practice of Trade Licensing Department with this agenda. Tracked administrative tasks are complete with interview with workers of Trade Licensing Department and National agricultural intervention fund. The farmer was interviewed to comparison of findings from administrative office with business environment. The time series of the numbers of agricultural entrepreneurs is analysed in statistical data processing. The actions are proposed based on evaluations of findings, that reduce the administrative burden on agricultural entrepreneurs.
Application for Online Music Notation Typesetting
Mackovič, Jakub ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
In this thesis, an application for musical notation in the environment of web browsers using the SVG vector graphics format is proposed. We have a look at relevant standard notation practices as well as at the history of musical typesetting. Existing programs for musical notation are classified and examined and based on those a user interface for the application is designed along with some modifications. The implementation of the application is then described. A set of features is presented and their usefulness is with the user interface tested on users. The feedback of the testing is then evaluated and the application is improved based on the feedback. Finally, the future of the application is discussed. Because SVG can still be considered an experimental technology and many browsers lack its support or their behaviour differs, the application is only guaranteed to work on the Google Chrome browser.
Optimization of the Distributed I/O Subsystem of the k-Wave Project
Vysocký, Ondřej ; Klepárník, Petr (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with an effective solution of the parallel I/O of the k-Wave tool, which is designed for time domain acoustic and ultrasound simulations. k-Wave is a supercomputer application, it runs on a Lustre file system and it requires to be implemented with MPI and stores the data in suitable data format (HDF5). I designed three methods of optimization which fits k-Wave's needs. It uses accumulation and redistribution techniques. In comparison with the native write, every optimization method led to better write speed, up to 13.6GB/s. It is possible to use these methods to optimize every data distributed application with the write speed issue.
Optimization of the Distributed I/O Subsystem of the k-Wave Project
Vysocký, Ondřej ; Hrbáček, Radek (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with an effective solution of parallel writing of variable amounts of data on the Lustre file system. The work will be used by the k-Wave project designed for time domain acoustic and ultrasound simulations. Since the simulation is computationally and data intensive, the project requires to be implemented with libraries for parallel computig (Open MPI) and large data processing (HDF5) and it must run on a supercomputer. The application is implemented in C and uses previously mentioned libraries. The proper settings of the Lustre file system leads to the peak write bandwith of 2.5 GB/s that corresponds to a speedup factor of 5 compared to the reference settings. The data aggregation improved the write bandwidth by a factor of 3 compared to a naive version. Here, the achieved I/O bandwidth for certain block sizes hits the limits of the Anselm I/O subsytem (3GB/s).
Storage media for data archiving
Šicner, Jakub ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Lambertová, Petra (advisor)
This dissertation explains the problem of archiving data based on the media used. Different information carriers and their properties are described in relation with their construction and read and write methods. Depending on write method on individual medium, this part is divided into two main areas. Last part deals with architecture of redundant arrays of independent disks and their standard levels. According to principles of the independent disk array activity, the properties as well as advantages and disadvantages of specific level are discussed.
