The following text is devoted to wind power stations. It shows basic distribution of wind engine according to the principle of their function and suitability of their use for power generation. It shows the parameters that must satisfy the suitable sites for building wind power stations and it shows wind maps of the Czech Republic. There are described some of the most frequently installed machines in the Czech Republic. Next chapters describe the economics running part of wind power stations; analyze the basic cost-sharing, mention methods of tax depreciation of tangible assets, the redemption value of electrical energy from renewable sources. There are chosen some of the most used methods for assessment the economic efficiency of wind power stations. There are common methods of static and dynamic in terms of time value of money, the possibilities and limitations of their use. This information is a basis for designing and implementing a program to calculate the economic efficiency of wind power station. The goal is to create a computer program based on your input values and calculation methods to calculate the economic indicators and economic effectiveness of project wind power station in terms of total investment coasts and on equity capital projects. Based on evaluation of data it will be ready to determine whether the investment in to the construction of wind power station can provide the required funding.

In the first part of the study there are described individual kinds of renewable resources of energy. The principle, the usage potential in Czech republic, some advantages and disadvantages about every topic are mentioned. In the second part the study is focused on usage of solar energy in the Czech Republic. The present state of used barrierlayer photocells and solar collectors is decribed in this part. In the last section there is a description of a photovoltaic power station in Otrokovice.
Regulation options of renewable energy sources
Pavlíček, Jiří ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Pěcha, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the regulation of renewable energy sources. It focuses on ways of managing and possibilities of regulation renewable energy resources. Indicates the proportion of various types of renewable energy sources in electricity production and their representation in the electrical load profile. Thesis describes the various storage systems, which can be used to stabilize the renewable energy sources. Evaluate the applicability of these storage systems in the energy sector.
Control of decentralized energy sources and storage systems
Maksimovich, Valeriia ; Wannous, Kinan Hasan Wafaa (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
Žijeme ve století, ve kterém jen těžko dovedeme představit život bez elektrické energie. Vznikajicí malé elektrárny, které vyrábějí elektřinu z obnovitelných zdrojů energie vyvolali potřebu v přisnějším řizení, inteligentním měření a změny Evropského trhu s elektřinou. Hlavní otázka spočívá v tom, jak zajistit spolehlivé, bezpečné a udržitelné dodávky energie a současně minimalizovat náklady a znečištění životního prostředí.
Wind power generation and energy accumulation possibilities
Krbal, Michal ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to inform about conditions of running and the character of running of the wind power plants and about the suitable storage systems for the possibilities of time invariableness of power supply. For these reasons is immediately in the first chapter of the thesis described state of using wind power plants in The Czech republic and other countries in Europe which produce electric power. Description of individual functional parts is important mainly from the point of electrician conversion of kinetic energy of wind to electric energy with help of the electric power generator with the highest efficiency and without need for maintenance. It is necessary to know those functional parts of the power wind to be able to design appropriate storage system. The output electric power is very variable at time, mainly output voltage, because wind energy is variable too. The characteristics of the wind power plants as output voltage, frequency and their switching graded at time have to in accordance with requirements of the electricity supply systems not to disturb the stability or even collapse of the electricity supply system which would lead to serious economic consequences. These predicaments can be prevented with precise meteorological forecast or by using the acceptable storage system with small acquisition and operating costs, requirements to safeness and long service life, low weight and high efficiency of conversion of energy. The storage systems are classified into centralized and decentralizing systems with requirements to dynamic running and running time. To fulfil these conditions it is essential to choose acceptable and accessible locations with year lasting qualities of wind, which are being checked in advance using measurement and mathematical calculations.
Accumulation of Energy from Renewable Energy Sources
Heller, Ondřej ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The objective of the first part of master’s thesis is mapping the potential of various types of renewable sources in Europe and Czech Republic, especially solar energy, wind energy, water energy and biomass. There are described principals and ways of energy generation from these sources, brief overview of current technologies, and also their advantages and limitations. An important part is electric supply continuity from renewable sources, there are large differences and the resulting to restrictions on construction and connecting the units to the power system. In this work there are mentioned some impacts on network and rates of change of supply, some sources are also evaluated in terms of maximum power, that can be connected to the power system in our country. The conclusion of the first part is dedicated to energy storage technologies, which are suitable and usable for renewable sources, there are described their principals, properties, status of development and types of aplications, in which these technologies are used. This chapter also focusses on the price level of each technology. The second part of the thesis deals with 1 MWp on-grid photovoltaic power plant design. This design includes also the redox flow batteries accumulation, the first variant calculates on 24-hour steady energy supply, the second optimalized variant calculates on daily energy supply. There are the accumulation system costs estimated and also the payback period for the both variants. Additionally there is also determined minimum penalization for cost-effective operation. The last part is dedicated to changes of impact on the local grid and changes of system impacts, after the accumulation system is installed.
