How will we live together?
Wintner, Roman ; Kocián, Václav (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
In my thesis How We Will Live Together I deal with the phenomenon of participatory housing. The first phase of the thesis is a research in which I analyse types of community housing from abroad, I examine the history of collective housing in the Czech Republic. I focus on different possibilities of participation within housing, which I demonstrate with real examples. I try to point out the still insufficient support of similarly oriented projects that could have a positive impact on the development of the housing issue in the country. In the second phase of the thesis, I develop a characterization of a fictive group of people, a community, on which I try to demonstrate the functioning and feasibility of a participatory housing project and the bottom-up model. The result is an architectural design on the site of the former sugar factory in Šlapanice, taking into account the interests and needs of the site and the community. It is a kind of reflection pointing out the possibilities and variability of the implementation of such a project in specific Czech conditions. I am basing my ideas on a foreign model, which I am trying to transfer to the territory of a more relaxed development. An important consideration in the work is given to the questions of the future in connection with housing. In the project I am working with the design of 5 different buildings, one of which also serves as a common centre for the community. The buildings are characterised by different approaches to design according to the individuality of the group of owners. I bring further considerations of possible functioning through the different zoning of the plots without strict subdivision and the different approach to the use of cars. As a paradoxical response of future housing, I bring a return to tradition and customs similar to the village environment. Not only in connection with cultivation, poultry farming, escape from hecticness, but especially with an orientation towards real values and healthy relationships, which can be mediated precisely by participatory housing.

It focuses on the explanation of individual concepts important for the examined field, the tools used, associated with specific examples from practice when working with service users. The practical part presents qualitative research, the purpose of which is to identify the impact the support for people with intellectual disabilities in sexuality, intimacy and relationships has on their inclusion in everyday life, and how they can benefit from such support. The research was carried out on two levels - in the form of interviews with selected users of the service, as well as with workers - sexual confidants who provide such advice. The conclusions of the qualitative research showed that support in the field of relationships has a positive effect on the overall experience of clients, strengthens the feeling of one's own value and place in the society.

Vilikus, Roman ; Kočí, Jana (advisor) ; Machovcová, Kateřina (referee)
The aim of the presented diploma thesis was to bring this issue of well-being and life satisfaction closer to the selected group of respondents. The goal of the analytical part was to find out to what extent different relationships of students affect their well-being, how they affect their social and psychological well-being, both by subjective evaluation of well-being and by evaluation of their selected basic building blocks. These connections were examined among students of mainly third-year pedagogical fields in their bachelor's studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy of Charles University in Prague. We also found out whether gender, age and financial situation have an effect on the personal well-being and life satisfaction of the approached students. We also wanted to monitor the connection/correlation between life satisfaction and its levels and psychological well-being and its dimensions.
Ethics Horizons at a Gymnazium
FEJTOVÁ, Blanka
The thesis deals with the state of interpersonal relationships, students' relations to humanities and science and ethical values in grammar school. The theoretical part deals with the principles of upbringing and education at grammar school and the definition of the concepts of ethical values. The practical part includes a system of evaluation of the interpretations of students' interviews with regard to the quality of interpersonal relationships and level of teaching, students' attitudes and relationships to the school subjects taught and ethical values. The quality of interpersonal relationships appears to be at a very good level in connection with the size of the gymnasium of around 400 students. The level of teaching meets the expectations of the students and the requirements for admission to universities and thus legitimises the existence of a generally focused grammar school. The students accept with slight resentment the disbalance in favour of science while subjects of humanities are neglected, and they show the practice of basic ethical values.
