Information System Design
Fabik, Lukáš ; Smolíková, Lenka (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of project management, including the evaluation and designing of a custom solution for small development teams with frequent teleworking. The thesis also compares the particular difference between classical predictive and agile software development methods. Based on a theoretical background and current state analysis, the purpose of this work is to design a new information system, which should serve as a SaaS solution, and describe its implementation by the proposed method.
Proposal of Versions Management for Database Process
Živnůstka, Ondřej ; Povolná, Petra (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a database versions management process for software development team. The main task of this thesis is to set up tools and processes, used to help the team to manage their versions of database changes. In the first part, you may find theoretical foundations and comparison of the Liquibase and Flayway tools. In the second part, the design and solution implementation is proposed, using Jenkins, Liquibase and specially crafted Java tools.
Proposal for the implementation security measures according to ISMS in the company developing financial application.
Bukovský, Luděk ; Vlastimil,, Svoboda (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this Master Thesis is a proposal for the implementation security measures in the company developing financial software application focused primarily on the Swiss market. These measures are based on results from present state of security in the company. There are the proposal for the security measures on the risk analysis results which are recommendation of the series of standards ISO/IEC 27000 and should lead to the risk reduction affecting the company.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Test Case Prioritization
Software for inverse heat transfer problems
Application of the Agile Methods in the Company
Sedlařík, Peter ; Moravec, Antonín (referee) ; Smolíková, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the issues of agile methods of software development. The theoretical part presents the rigorous and agile methods and their comparison. It further describes the agile method Scrum in a detail. The study also includes the analysis of current situation of the real company, which is in the process of transformation to agile methods and the company uses Scrum. Based on this analysis, various solutions to the revealed problems are suggested.
CMMI Certification for Software Development in Agile Environment
Gajdušek, Radek ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The goal of master thesis "CMMI Certification for Software Development in Agile Environment" is CMMI quality model research with focus on software development in agile environment in the Siemens company. In the beginning CMMI model and Scrum methodics are introduced. The core of this thesis is focused on the current state analysis. Output of the analysis is a list of potential areas that are currently not compatible with quality model requirements. These areas are to be improved for the company to achieve the desired CMMI certification level. Possible improvements are introduced to the consultant. During the implementation part a web application is realized helping to remove most of the identified imperfections. Application benefit is objectively evaluated by an internal audit. The work includes discussion of possible further application development and quality model standard evolution in this company.
Management Tasks Planning Optimalization Using Sharepoint
Winkler, Tomáš ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The problem discussed in this thesis is the optimization of the process of planning, tracking and evaluating tasks in the management area of the department Corporate Technology in Siemens, Brno. Having studied theories of CMMI and principles of ISO 9001, the given process is optimized by automating certain manual tasks. As Corporate Technology uses a SharePoint server to manage tasks, the application is developed to improve his functionality. This application has therefore been tested in the environment of the organization with real-life data and complies to all necessary requirements to be able to save at least 50 % of time in the optimized process. The results of this thesis prove the usability of automating manual repetitive tasks being conducted in the processes of the organization and introduce possibility of increasing process level by preventing human errors.
Business Model for IT Company
Rybníček, Drahomír ; MSc, Josef Kratochvíl, (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focusing on design of business model for IT company acting in the domain of development and sales of information systems and related services. In the newly emerging business model there is an emphasis on differentiation from competition and to offer such conditions so the uncertainty of customer can be lowered, when the customer feels danger of obtaining inappropriate solution or unsatisfactory cooperation with a supplier. This business model aims to ensure obtaining of new customers.
Parallelism in Digital Signal Processing
