The aim of this bachelor thesis is based on an evaluation of Chinese foreign in-vestments, which are such a popularized trend in Czech republic, and itʼs advantages or disadvantages, with regard to national as well as regional level; to some particular companies in regions of Czech republic. The thesis also analyzes the purpose of the investment and the impact of the investment activity of Chinese entities in the Czech Republic. The thesis examines both tangible investments (eg mergers and acquisitions, greenfields, brownfields) as well as intangible investments (eg acquiring know-how). The first part describes the theoretical introduction to the topic of FDI, which conc-ludes the characteristics, the definition, the classification and also the localization factors. Furthermore, this section elaborates the advantages and disadvantages of FDI in details. The second part is focused more specifically on the development of the volume of FDI in the Czech Republic, such as introduction of from which countries CR has got the most FDI flows. The following chapter paying attention to the reasons for the Chinese investors' entry into the Czech market together with the economic comparison of both countries. In the last part evaluates concrete significant FDI from China into our country and itʼs advantages or disadvantages. The thesis should give the reader more information about the currently highly publicized issue.
Event marketing

The goal of the thesis is to suggest changes for the next period based on the analysis of the selected event. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. First of all, the theoretical part describes communication tools, their main purpose, advantages and disadvantages. The following chapter deals with event marketing, as the main theme of the thesis. There are provides definitions of the concept, types of events and their implementation. The Chocolate festival was chosen for the practical part. In this part are stated general information about the event, information about sponsors and forms used for marketing communication. The next chapter focuses on quantitative research. Required information is obtained through a questionnaire survey and an analysis is also carried out through participant observation. Based on the results of evaluation, are set suggestions that can serve as recommendations and contribute to the improvement of the event in the next period.

The bachelor thesis deals with economic aspects of adoption united European currency euro. Adoption of the euro is currently ongoing topic and it is a step which Czech Republic committed itself. The main goal of my thesis is to evaluate possible effects of adoption. Thesis firstly introduce theoretical aspects of monetary integration, then follows analysis of advantages and disadvantages including potential impacts. Last was comparison with selected countries, which already introduced euro.
Arbitration procedure in international business transactions

The purpose of the diploma thesis is to summarize the most important and basic attributes of arbitration in international business transactions. Further, the thesis assesses the biggest pros and cons of the arbitration. Emphasis is placed on opinions of economical entities as users of the arbitration to settle their mutual disputes. The first chapter aims on definition of three basic terms including the arbitration as the corner stone of the whole topic, then the meaning of international and definition of business relations. The two latter terms distinguish the respective category of arbitration from other categories such as arbitration in consumers or labour relations or arbitration conducted between states and individuals arising from investments. The second chapter enumerates the most important sources of law governing the arbitration. The thesis aims on both material and formal sources. Reasons for creation and historical development of arbitration are shortly outlined as material sources. The part concerning with the formal sources refers mainly to international sources with accent on New York Convention and UNCITRAL Model Law on International Arbitration. Influence of the type of window elements to the cost price of construction

This thesis explains the influence of the type of window glass openings on the cost price of the building. Price depends on choosing the type of windows in a combination of different materials. The theoretical part describes the type of window apertures, their characteristics and advantages and disadvantages. The result of the study is to determine the percentage of volume, price of shares selected variants of window apertures on the cost price of the object.
Proposal for Creating of Nursery for the Company

This diploma thesis concerns in the first part on conditions for creating of nursery for the company in Czech Republic. It also analyses current positon and interest in the nursery located in Brno. In the conclusion I suggest steps which should lead into the fair creating in case of satisfied conditions.
Solar radiation in place BUT FME Brno

This thesis deals with the elaboration of measured solar radiation data collected from sensors placed on C3 building - BUT FSI localization in Brno. Data measured during 2007-08 and 2008-09. The aim of this thesis is to present the measured solar radiation data in statistical and graphical form, which can be used as a basis for the solar collectors and barrier-layer calculations. Part of the thesis creates also a comparison of incident solar radiation on a horizontal and sloping surface. We will encounter here with brief characteristics of solar radiation, possibilities of utilization and the ways of its measurement.
Fuel cells in personal transport

This thesis is oriented to historical evolution of fuel cell, his total analysis, description of single disadvantage and advantage with which fuel cells battle. An other reason for urgency of using alternative fuel, brief description of car market and possible guess of fuel cell's future in personal transport are involved in an other part of this thesis. The end of the thesis deal with cars of fuel cells split in parts according to single car companies.

This work describes in detail the types and properties of materials used for thermal insulation, building insulation technology implementation, their advantages and disadvantages. For several variants, which are currently the most widely used, the application is made to the selected family house, and then evaluates the impact of technology of insulation cladding to the price of the object.
The power of social networking sites in the international environment

This Bachelor thesis called The power of social networking sites in the international environment analyses the power of new so could cial platforms from global perspective with the help of insights into the past, analysing the current situation and forecasting the future developments. The aim of this thesis is to form recommendations for an effective utilization of the power of social networks based on the assessment of the impact of selected campaigns on social networks and comparison of the usage of social networking sites in selected countries. The first chapter looks into the origins of social networking sites and their characteristics. The second chapter shows how this power is given and which future impacts on the usage of social networking sites could social networks have on the international environment, even if we have to change our habits. In the third chapter the impacts of selected marketing campaigns are analysed, and in the fourth, a user survey of social networking sites was taken in three selected countries (Czech Republic, France and United Kingdom).
