Impact od domestic violence in family on the child from the perspective of social workers of social and legal protection of children

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of domestic violence in the family and its impacts on the child from the perspective of social workers OSPOD. It describes the family, domestic violence, valid legislation, CAN syndrome. Attention is paid to children as witnesses and direct victims of domestic violence, social work with a family affected by domestic violence focused on the specific activities of the OSPOD. Dilematic situations on the part of social workers are mentioned. The work focuses on the various effects of domestic violence on the child's psychic state and behavior, on his moral development, study results, relationships with peers, parents, partnerships and contact with the aggressor.
Corporal punishment in raising children

The bachelor's thesis provides a comprehensive view of the issue of corporal punishment of children in the Czech Republic, even in the historical context. This topic has recently been widely discussed worldwide, and is timeless at the same time. In our republic, corporal punishment is still widely used as an educational tool. The question is when the Czech Republic will be ready to pass a law banning the use of corporal punishment. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part explains important definitions such as upbringing, rewards, punishments and the possible consequences of inappropriate use of physical punishments. The practical part solves, in the form of quantitative research, the use of physical punishments in the upbringing of children of pedagogically educated respondents. I chose an electronic questionnaire as a method of data collection. The data were processed and converted into tables and graphs. It has established seven research questions that I try to find answers to.
Prevention of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children as a Pedagogical Problem

The thesis analyses subject matter of commercial sexual exploitation of children and its prevention in school and families. Theoretical part focuses on explanation of terms. It also covers description of presence of the subject in the Czech Republic, legislation and its relationship to the prevention in school and family. Prevention programs are introduced in this thesis as well. The prevention subject has been surveyed through a questionnaire and outcomes were confronted with a hypothesis. At the end of the thesis is pronounced solution that might help pedagogues with subject prevention. Child Sexual Abuse Syndrome

Thesis CSA syndrome in children, examines current issues of sexual abuse and its consequences. The theoretical section deals with the history of sexual abuse, contemporary view on this issue and the legal treatment of offenders and victims. Furthermore, thesis acquaints readers with various types of sexual abuse and marginally with commercial abuse. The aim of the research in the practical section of the thesis is to ascertain the level of awarness of students in this issues, together with their own personal experience concerning sexual abuse and whether they have any sexually abused person in their vicinity. The quantitative research was conducted at the elementary school Drtinova.
Intergenerational Transmission of Aggressive Behavior within Families as a Cause of Domestic Violence

Thesis Transgeneration transfer of aggressive behaviour in families as a cause of domestic violence has theoretically - empirical nature and is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is defined by the family, its functions, types, and family pathology is described in the context of domestic violence and CAN syndrome. The central chapters of this section also deal with educational styles, parental attitudes, characteristics of domestic violence and child development in families with the occurrence of domestic violence. The practical part includes a qualitative analysis of documents, families affected by domestic violence, held at the Municipal Office Prachatice, department of Social and legal protection of children. The analysis examined whether these families can be considered the transgeneration transfer patterns of behaviour and styles of upbringing family to multiply family. The analysis is complemented by interviewed case study. The objective of bachelor thesis is Domestic violence. The conception of domestic violence is defined in the theoretical part of my thesis. The main definitions and terminology are explained such as what the domestic violence is, who is affected by it and what forms it can be in. The legal framework and the epidemiology of it in the Czech Republic are mentioned. The practical part of my thesis is focused on the results of a questionnaire that was conducted in elementary and secondary schools.
