Design of unicast and multicast models in NS2
Votava, Martin ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This work is focused on Network Simulator 2 - tool used for simulating network implementations. Focal point of this work is simulating of unicast and multicast routing. This work also describes protocols used on transport layer, such TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol). Last but not least work includes laboratory part in which reader is able to verify reached knowledge in Unicast and Multicast simulation.

Leška, Jakub ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Košař, Vlastimil (advisor)
Overwiev of actual solutions in routing protocols in wireless sensors networks, description of wireless protocol mimac and its miwi, design of new protocol for sensor network used in inteligent housing
Analysis of routing protocols used in MANET networks
Vala, Ondřej ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Kubánková, Anna (advisor)
This diploma thesis is analysis of routing protocols used in MANET networks focusing on protocols OLSR, AODV and HWMP. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the routing protokols, which are used in MANET networks and their applications to FANET networks. In practical part, there are describes of created mobility model in the NS-3, which are used for comparison routing protocols on the created scenarios of mobility according to the qualitative parameters of the networks.
Routing protocols in scale-free topology networks
Mahdal, Ondřej ; Kyselý, František (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis (further only MT) deal with problems of scale-free topology networks with a view to technology MANET (Mobile Ad hoc network) or more precisely Motorola MESH. Further studies routing technique and quality of services (QoS) in these networks. Theoretic part of MT in introduction shortly characterizes properties and kind of Ad hoc networks, next part is dedicated to technology Motorola MESH and shows practical usage of this technology. Analysis of problems quality of services and optimalization QoS in MANET is content third parts of MT. Fourth part specifies division of routing protocols, analysis of routing in MANET and characteristics routing protocols OLSR, AODV, DSR and TORA. In practical fifth part of MT are in introduction simulated simple MANET and mesh networks and further is created model of MANET network, into the model are implemented accessible routing protocols in simulation program OPNET Modeler and on the basis of simulation these protocols or more precisely output statisticians of simulation are protocols compared from several aspects and suitability for transmission of multimedia data (voice, video).
Integrated telecommunication environment
Tomeček, Jan ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
The thesis described the proposal for a wireless network problems. There are recorded and compared the characteristics of different wireless technologies. The possibility of voice communication securing is outlined and solutions implemented in the form of ZRTP protocol. The requirements for quality of service are discussed and the solutions to this issue are proposed. Other chapters are devoted to the actual design of specific equipment, including antennas and advance resource. The whole network is practically implemented in the mountainous countryside of eastern Wallachia. In conclusion, this work is network mate in terms of QoS (quality of service) and tested in terms of prioritization of voice communication.
Measurement of Backbone Routing Parameters
Celárek, Ondřej ; Kořenek, Jan (referee) ; Matoušek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with issue of routing between Autonomous Systems. For routing between autonomous systems is used Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). The routers in Autonomous Systems modify their routing tables based on BGP messages.   Routing tables are used for forwarding information on Internet. Issue of this thesis is analysis of change routing tables for eventually optimizing of routing architecture. First part of thesis is focused on theory of routers, routing ang BGP. Second part of this thesis focuses on implementation and execution experiments with routing tables. In this part are also described reached results.
Implementation of OSPFv3 for INET4
Galbička, Lukáš ; Marek, Marcel (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with simulation of routing protocol OSPF in simulation software called OMNeT++. OMNeT++ is a discrete modular simulator mostly used for simulation of computer networks. This thesis includes theory needed for an understanding of the functionality of OSPFv2 and changes in OSPFv3 for IPv6, which are implemented in the model itself. Moreover, thesis contains the configuration of OSPFv3 protocol on topology created from Cisco devices following by analysis of previous source files, state of implementation and its further extension. Thesis is finished with functionality testing and evaluation of results.
Routing in Wireless Networks
Janský, Václav ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with routing protocols for ad hoc wireless networks. First ad hoc networks are introduced. Routing protocols are then classified according to several criteria. Four routing protocols algorithms are described. They are proactive protocols DSDV and CGSR, reactive DSR and hybrid ZRP. Next AODV routing protocol is described in details. Advantages and disadvantages of AODV and two variants of AODV are also introduced. A new protocol is designed based on the disadvantages of the AODV protocol. This work also describes the implementation and integration of the new protocol in the ns-2 simulator. Results of the simulations are presented.
IPv6 Modelling in OMNeT++
Černý, Marek ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
OMNeT++ is a discrete-event simulator commonly used to build various network simulations. It can be extended by INET framework that supplies models of protocols and devices from TCP/IP environment. This paper explores current capabilities of INET to model IPv6, particularly routing. Implemented extension includes modules of dual-stack router and dual-stack host that support XML-based configuration of IPv6 addressing and static routing. We also introduce an OSPFv3 module that implements most of auxiliary features and is ready for future development of the routing protocol core.
VPN Controller
