Filip, Ondřej ; Jebavý, Radim (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Titel: Recovery duration and its effect on acceleration Objectives: The primary goal was to find out the effect of different recovery duration between sprints of 30 m distance. The secondary goal was to find out what are the views of trainers from different sports sectors on the interval of rest, the nature of the rest, and how they can influence the speed. Methods: Data for the results of my bachelor thesis were obtained by the method of testing and subsequent comparison of repeated speed runs to 4 x 30 m, among which there was a different interval of rest. Measurement was attended by 15 football players of adolescent age. Three groups of soccer players after a classic pre-match warm-up (warm-up, mobilization, and dynamic ballless exercises, ball exercises) have completed two runs of 30 meters, among which rest was 4 minutes. Subsequently, each group had a different recovery duration when GROUP I rested 10 minutes, GROUP II 20 minutes, and GROUP III 40 minutes. After a set recovery interval, the test was to complete a 5 minute run, which contained a shortened version of the special running excersizes and followed by another two runs of 30 meters with a 4 minute interval of rest. In total, 3 measurements were taken, and the groups changed all the intervals with the weekly spacing. Measured values...

Title: Comparison of Physical Skills of Pupils in General and Sports Classes of Elementary School Goals: The aim of this research is to determine the level of physical fitness skills of pupils, who, attend a sport class and compare these results to the pupils of the same age general class in the same school. Methods: The measurement was carried out through the test UNIFITTEST (6-60), which consists of the following tests - long jump, sit-up, chin-up and the Cooper Test. The results were evaluated and compared using the statistical characteristics. Results: With the help of these tests we found out the average level of fitness skills in every category. In long jump boys from the examined sport class managed to get 14, 6 % better results than those from the general class. Regarding girls, those from the sport class did also better, particularly 8, 5 %. The same tendency is to be found in sit-ups. The sport class children showed better performance, boys were 5, 9 % and girls 3, 3 % better than their schoolmates from general classes. The biggest gap in performance was measured in pull-ups. In average 20, 4 % better results for boys from the sport class. But girls from the general class this time beat the ones with a sport-focused programme by 21 %. Last thing we tested was endurance running where the...

Title: The physical load on the body as a factor influencing perceptual cognitive functions. Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the size of the physical load and the visual-motor response time and the accuracy of the decision-making by junior soccer players. Methods: The fourty two respondents (in an average age of 19 ± 1.2 years) participated in the study. It was the single factor quasiexperimental, multilevel and intragroup in which we tried to reveal the causal relationship between the visual-motor response time and the accuracy of the decision-making depending on the size of the previous physical load. We proposed a diagnostic instrument containing the video of the offensive game situations which would allow simultaneous evaluation of the visual-motor response time (using Dartfish software program) and the accuracy of the decision-making (through experts assessment). Results and discussion: The diagnostic instrument contains sixteen video clips of the offensive game situations according to the highest degree of conformity of the panelists. I used polychoric correlation matrix to express dependencies between each game situation within each group comprising four video clips of the offensive game situations. The results of the matrix (range -0.437 to 0.306)...

Title: The influence of two different lower limb exercises on the speed of skating during dry land training in young ice hockey players aged 17 to 20. Aim: The aim of this study was comparation of the effect of two variations in preseason pre preparation on speed of skating. Methods: The hockey players in the age from 17 to 20, who have been training ice hockey for 12 - 14 years, have been watched. The hockey players have been divided into two groups on the base of the technology of the skating. The speed of the skating, have been measured at all hockey players at the beginning of the watching. Then the hockey players have absolved the summer preparation. The capacity of the training has been the same for both groups (the amount of the lessons, frequency, etc.). The difference was in the way of performing of some exercises, mainly the exercising of the legs. The first group has been doing the exercises in the "speed" form, while the second group has been doing the exercises in the " strength" form. The effect of the used training has been controlled by the motoric tests. The speed of the ice skating has been evaluated again before the beginning of the playing season. The results have been statistically elaborated and compared. The results: Both training systems have significantly improved...
