The diploma thesis focuses on project management – managing of software development activities. It explains a basic terms of given issue and it also deals with advantages and disadvantages of some known practices and methods which are often followed when developing software. The practical part includes an analysis and evaluation of concrete project. This project is then the base for designing an optimization of software development methodology. Designed optimization will be able to help manage similar projects in future.

Information Support of Project Teams

The aim of the diploma thesis is to outline the possibilities of information support of project teams by an Informational Specialist. The theoretical part introduces different project management methodologies and further specifies the individual project phases as seen by PMBoK methodology. In the chapters focusing on each of the phases of a project, all necessary input sources as well as all output documents that are essential for the project to move on to its next phase are defined and elaborated on. This part is followed by a description of possibilities of information support for working with information sources and creating output documents with regard to competencies, which an Information Specialist should have. Key in this respect is the third and the fourth chapter, including specific proposals on the possibility of information support of a project team by an Information Specialist. The practical part is focused on the role of an Information Specialist in the implementation of a specific project in a company - in particular, a major financial institution on the Czech market. While the theoretical part is based on the study of literature, the practical part is mainly based on personal consultation with a Project Manager of the company.

The Project Proposal of the Marketing Campaign Realisation on Social Networks

This bachelor thesis is dealing with project management of a campaign for a selected company and subsequent implementation of chosen methods and tools for managing such project in three phases – pre-project, project and post-project. In these individual phases we are going to focus on setting up goals, logical framework, initiation, planning, implementation, project closeout, output evaluation and proposal processing. These individual phases and each partial step are theoretically described and then practically used in the analysis of the current state and the design of the solution.

The project proposal of a new store

This bachelor's thesis discusses a project proposal with the intention to establish a new company store in the Moravian-Silesian region. The aim was to create project documentation applying the available theory, tools and methods. The documents, made in MS Visio, MS Project and MS Excel, give all the essential information needed for a successful project implementation. The resulting advantages of the investigated approach are reflected at the end of the thesis.

The diploma thesis is focused on the practical use of project management methods and tools in a selected company. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a project for the implementation of an information system. The introductory part of this work deals with the theoretical basis of the issue and covers all phases of the project. The next part is focused on the analysis of the current state of the company. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the project itself, where the output of the thesis is a compiled project for the implementation of an information system.

The Use of Methods of the Project Management in Company

The content of the bachelor thesis is theoretical elaboration of project management meth-ods, which are used in analysis and design of the project plan of the Mov’in Europe fair. The work process is divided into three parts, where the first part consists of the theoretical basis. The second part of the bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of the non-profit organisation ESN VUT Brno, and the analysis of their process for planning the fair. The outcome of the bachelor thesis can be found in the last part, which includes design of the project solution using the elements of project management.

The Implementation of the Project "Neberte nám naši hru" and the Proposals to its Improvement

Title: The Implementation of the Project "Neberte nám naši hru" and the Proposals to its Improvement Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is a detailed description of the project "Neberte nám naši hru" and based on the research methods which proposed changes for future years of the project. Methods: For a description of the project was used a method of observation in the role of a full member, and an analysis of documents. The parents of children were inquired by questionnaire construction to find out how they had perceived the project. To obtain expert opinions on the realization of the project and its media coverage were carried out two qualitative interviews. Results: The project "Neberte nám naši hru" is perceived by the target group very positively in terms of its main ideas and implementation. In other years can be recommended especially year-round communicate of the project ideas towards the football public in Prague. Within the year-round communication proposes the inclusion of new elements between project activities that should more attractive the project for the participants and for the media, which would contribute to increasing public awareness of the project and its ideas.
