ABB RobotStudio - robot control using PLC B&R Automation
Mittaš, Eduard ; Lacko, Branislav (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to demonstrate various ways of communication with the controller of the robot as well as consecutive controlling of this robot. The simulation will be achieved by using the TCP/IP protocol, while the communication in the laboratory with real equipment will be assured by Profinet bus. This thesis will show also another solution, which is simple communication and connection between Microsoft Visual Studio and Robotstudio by using TCP/IP protocol. Initial chapters will describe ABB and B&R Automation companies, their control systems, history and information associated with them. Following chapters will serve as a guide describing creating of application in each of three presented solutions.
Control system for a cabin
Vávra, Petr ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of control system for electrical heating and exterior venetian blinds aimed for recreational house with a remote control. The theoretical part contains methods used for house remote control in commercial systems. In the practical part, the system is implemented on PLC and Raspberry Pi. For remote control and communication, the HomeKit protocol has been chosen. Blinds control and electrical heating system are integrated to the HomeKit. For blinds, automatic control algorithm for energy optimization has been chosen and implemented.
Multi-axis Engine Control in Intelligent House
Uherka, Bohumil ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Chomát, Luděk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis handles with multi-axis drives with electronic cam and electronic gear. Result of this project was to develop a model of entry gates and multi-axis drive control program. This issue was demonstrated on the entrance gate engines controlling the smart house. The model of entrance gates was constructed using a stepper engines. The model was connected by the input and output modules with Power Panel (programmable logic controller with touch screen), on which the visualization was created. Power Panel at the same time governed servoamplifiers ACOPOS. These servo amplifiers with synchronous engines correspond to engines controlling the actual gates.
Hydraulic biomass briquette press control
Kučera, Tomáš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is creation of software for hydraulic biomass briquette press. Software consists of two parts. First part is program for PLC and second is visualization for touch screen display. This work continues masters thesis of Ing.~Martin~Kadlec, which covers desing and creation of briquette press.
Control and visualization of techlologic process via IPC
Buchta, Luděk ; Libor, Matys (referee) ; Dvořáček, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to acquaint with techniques and technologies used in the control and visualization of technologic processes. The industrial PC, PLC and Automation Panels from the company B&R was used on control of the technologic process in laboratory E541. Designed and implemented control algorithm contains three discrete controllers. The standard OPC is used for communication. Visualization for control workplace is created in the Program Control Web. Visualizations for operator workstations are created in the program Automation Studio. These visualizations are used to transfer information from the technological process.
Design and implementation of tutorials for PLC B&R Automation
Sýkora, Daniel ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and the implementation tutorials for PLC B&R as well as the detailed instructions of work in the Automation Studio. It contains information about the company B&R Ges. m. b. H. and its products. The design tutorials have been made in the Automation Studio. The practical task has been solved and tested in B&R PLC X20.
Laboratory exercises of electronic elevator model
Kašpar, Ondřej ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
My Bachelor project is based on concept and realization of electronic model of elevator. This examplar works only on electric base without any mechanical components. This project at all will stay in laboratory of automatization. Students can use it as visual aid in studying and learning new things about programmable controller of Siemens, especially models S7-200. The movement of cabine of elevator is exemplified in bargraf, which you can leave control over then by active componets, LED drivers. The model is directed by micro-processor ALMEL ATmega128, which is connected with PC serial and paralel line. In my project you can find some descriptions of under consideration and used technologies, development system and constructional components.
Visualisation of manual control of manipulator model
Chlad, Petr ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Purpose of this bachelor's thesis was to create a visualization of the manual control of the manipulator model. Manipulator consists of servomotors and converters. It is controled by programmable logic controller GuardLogix. Visualization is displayed on a color touch panel PanelView Plus 700.
Motor arm control and object weight determination from dynamic motion
Pour, Radek ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis is a part of the project Intelligent weighting and sorting of goods. The principle of measuring of weight from movement dynamics with derivation calculation relation is detailed described in the first part. The description of used automation means is also in the first part of the diploma thesis. The second part includes design of three adaptive control systems for controlling DC electromotor’s arm, communication principles between programmable logic controllers and designed code of program.
Laboratory exercises of mechanical elevator model
Arnošt, Petr ; Němec, Zdeněk (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with design and manufacturing model of elevator. It contains information about management of this model with PLC Siemens, Simatic S7-200. Design was made on a computer in Inventor - 3D modeling program. Design of electronics was also made on computer in Eagle program. Model has movable cockpit, opening doors and signal and control elements. This thesis describes the design because of choice of specific decision. It deals with the production of individual components and management model.
