The emotional characteristic of children with the different sociometric status from the pupils' perspektive.
DRŮBOVÁ, Marie
This thesis deals with the emotional characteristic of children with different sociometric status from the pupils' point of view. The theoretical part is divided into two main chapters, it clarifies the key concepts, contains the knowledge and professional information related to the chosen topic. Since each individual is a unique and unrepeatable being, their emotional characteristic will also differ, especially in relation to a particular position in a particular peer group. Individual pupils occupy a certain sociometric status in the classroom, which is conditioned by many influences. Factors related to the sociometric position may also include emotional characteristics of pupils. The practical part is focused on children attending the second stage of elementary school. There is a certain relationship between members and they know each other well. This part of the thesis deals with the period characterized by major changes, the gradual segregation of children from parents and, at the same time, the creation of more significant relationships with peers of both sexes. In the practical part of the thesis the method of quantitative research based on questionnaires of its own construction was used. A sociometric survey determining the sociometric status illustrates the hypothesis concerning the emotional characteristics of each child. The information obtained could serve teachers of primary schools, educational counselors, students of pedagogical faculties and parents interested in emotional characteristics of children with different sociometric status from the viewpoint of pupils.

This thesis focuses on the meaning of violence within groups of Roma youth. It discusses questions regarding how they understand, verbalise and reflect on violence.
