Small Company Mobile Security

In the course of the work, an analysis of security issues with the use of mobile devices in a small company is created. Based on this analysis, are identified risks that could have an impact on the security of the company's information due to malicious code on the mobile device or unauthorized access to the mobile device. To eliminate or reduce these risks, are proposed safety measures inspired by the measures in the ČSN ISO/IEC 27002 standard, on which the bachelor's thesis is focused.
Mobile technology as a tool for management and teaching in elementary and secondary education

The primary aim of the thesis concerning mobile technology as a tool for management and teaching at school is to describe the current status of ICT at school from two perspectives: From the management perspective as well as from the perspective of school education. Further, to look through the state policy in education, Annual report of the Czech School Inspectorate statistics CSO and professional literature in this area at the current state of technology introduction at present-day schools. To capture the view of Experts on the new trends that penetrate to us from abroad. To gather by means of quantitative research of the randomly selected sample of respondents what are the possibilities and benefits of technology and knowledge of new trends in our conditions (BYOT). To verify by means of research how this issue is perceived and accepted by current teachers and leaders at schools in the Prague region and in several other regions of the Czech Republic. The conclusion tries to summarize and on the basis of the research results to show needs, opportunities and benefits of mobile technology for the school and its clients. Design of Home Computer Network

This thesis describes the design of a home computer network. The first part deals with the study of local computer networks and their history. This part concerns network types and topologies and the reference models OSI and TCP/IP. Types of active and passive network hardware components are mentioned, as well as networking software and individual network standards for network communication. Furthermore, the thesis also discusses some possibilities of effective security of computer network. The second part deals with creating the design of home computer network. The network must meet the client s requirements. The description of space, for which is the network created, forms a part of design. There is also the list of required hardware for network implementation and hardware that will be connected to the network. As the main part of this work, the schema of the cable placement and the placement of other active network components is designed. The work also describes appropriate security of this home computer network using setting of the routers and the network storage connection.
The use of light metal alloys in the construction of modern electronics

This bachelor thesis presents a basic overview of light metal alloys and it is focused on alloys of aluminium, magnesium and titanium. It also deals with their classification and properties, which are connected with sustainability of use of these metals for chassis of modern electronics, especially for chassis of smartphones, laptops, tablets and digital cameras.

Náplní semestrální práce "Evaluation of E-learning Tools" je přiblížení e-learningových nástrojů čtenáři a zhodnocení možností využití e-learningu jako samostatné složky výuky. První část práce se zabývá definováním termínu e-learning a poskytuje zasazení do historického pozadí. V dalších částech se blíže zabývá jednotlivými hardware a software nástroji. E-learningové nástroje, kterými se práce zabývá, jsou základní kancelářské nástroje, stránky pro sdílení videí s výukovým obsahem a v poslední části sociální sítě a jazykové programy a zhodnocení výhod, nevýhod a vlivu na studenta.

Desktop computers and notebooks - expandability and architecture

This bachelor thesis compares expansion possibilities and architecture of desktop PCs and notebooks. It analyses different types of computers for personal use, desktops and notebooks, it categorizes them and analyses contemporary available on the Czech market. The goal of this thesis is to analyze expansion possibilities and also analyze the issue of using notebooks as desktop replacements. In relation to notebooks expandability this thesis analyses docking stations and possibilities that arise from their using. The thesis consists of five major sections, where chapters about desktop PCs and notebooks contain theoretical knowledge which are basis to a comparison of desktops and notebooks. As a possible solution of expansion of notebooks should be considered possibility of docking this is analyzed in a separate section. Conclusions are verified by a survey which is aimed at contemporary using of computers and their expandability with focus on docking stations.
Using the Interactive Whiteboard in English Language Classes at Middle School Level

This diploma thesis is focused on using the interactive whiteboard in English language classes at middle school level. The theoretical part is focused on describing the interactive whiteboard, development and description of particular language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) and language subskills (grammar, pronunciation). The practical part deals with a preparation of some English classes. From observation of the classes, from the interviews with teachers and the questionnaire among pupils I will make a conclusion for training which language skills and subskills it is good to use the interactive whiteboard.
