Freedom or safety on the internet? Framing analysis of two social movements.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to describe the mobilization processes of two social movements that arise in response to the current state of the Czech cyberspace. The theoretical part of the work presents the conceptualization of the mobilization processes of social movements. It also builds on the definition of the social movement from the Italian sociologist Mario Diani (1992). Finally, it presents key framing tasks based on framing theory from David A. Snow and Robert D. Benford et al. The methodological part of the work presents an introduction to the research method which is a qualitative content analysis of media documents produced by the movements. Problematics of musculosceletal dysfunction and chains

This diploma thesis deals with functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system. It discusses the possible causing factors of these disorders, their manifestations on the body, diagnostics and the possibilities of influencing them. Since this is a very common phenomenon on the human body, I chose mainly the muscle, fascia and joint structure, which I explored and described in more depth. The experimental part of this work aims to demonstrate the possible impact of the intervention of the 1.-3. ribs and claviculosternal joint as described by Ludmila Mojžíšová on the muscles of the neck (m. scalenus anterior, medius and sternocleidomastoideus). To obtain results, I used the ultrasound examination of the diameter of these muscles and Visual analogue scale (VAS) to obtain pain values before and after the intervention using this method. Title: The effect of chosen manual techniques on static and dynamic postural stability in physiotherapy students. Aims: The main aim of this study is to assess the effect of chosen manual techniques on participants' static and dynamic postural stability. Summary: The study was done from May to December 2019. A total of 100 subjects aged 19-38years took part in the study. Participants were randomly divided into two groups - experimental and control. Postural stability was measured by the following tests: Star Excursion Balance test, Unipedal Stance test, Timed Up and Go test and Sit to Stand test. These standardised measurements were taken before intervention, after intervention and a week from intervention. Experimental group undertook the intervention by manual techniques, which took 20 minutes. Outcomes were written into recording sheets. Final data were processed using Microsoft Excel 2013, IBM SPSS Statistics V26 and TIBCO Statistica 13.3.0. To calculate differences, the following statistical methods were used: Shapiro-Wilk test, independent T-test and Mann-Whitney U test. To measure effect size, Cohen's d was used. Mobilization of the Austro-Hungarian Army during the Great War in the Czech Lands

During the entire Great War, Austria-Hungary mobilized more than one and a half million men in the Czech lands. Out of service in the Austro-Hungarian army, a third never returned home. Czechs and Germans - the greatest nations represented in the Czech lands of the time - fought and suffered side by side on the Great War fronts. Yet only part of them were honoured at the end of the war. The newly created Czechoslovakia built its existence on a new, legitimate image of the Great War, as a struggle for the freedom and independence of the Czechs, represented by Czechoslovak legionaries. In addition, the grief of the bleeding of an entire generation of men was obscured by the joy of the disintegration of Austria-Hungary and the newly formed Czechoslovak state. The fate and suffering of most Czechs and Germans serving in the Austro-Hungarian army, in the army of their homeland, have been downplayed by the depiction of these soldiers as "Švejkové" or deserters. Return to life after an PICS, based on acute respiratory failure

Introduction: Thanks to the progress of the today's medicine, in particular its therapeutic possibilities, the number of patients overcoming critical acute respiratory failure has increased, resulting in their exposure to stress and impact of intensive care. Thus, we can say that almost every patient suffers from at least one sign of post-intensive care syndrome. The theoretic part of the Diploma Thesis deals with acute respiratory failure and PICS. Materials used to prepare this work were obtained from a research made by the National Medical Library and from sources found in expert databases (PupMed, ResearchGate, ScienceDirect etc.). Aim of the work: The aim of this work is to examine and evaluate the physical and mental state of patients after overcoming the acute respiratory failure and their return to normal life with post-intensive care syndrome. We've divided this main goal into several partial objectives with the main research questions if the signs of PICS can be impacted by the length of artificial ventilation. Greek Civil War: Greek Immigrants from Anatolia and Their Involvement in the Communist Insurgency (1946-1949)

This Master's thesis deals with the individual's motivations for participation in the Communist insurgency during the Greek Civil War of 1946-1949. More specifically, the thesis aims to analyse the motivations of those who joined the Communist guerrillas and at the same time originated from the population which came as Greek Christian refugees in 1920s to Macedonia, Northern Greece. The Master's thesis introduces several theoretical concepts which try to explain individual's motivations for mobilization in insurgency generally, including the "grievance versus greed" theory, the social networks and collective identity approach as well as coercion approach. The theories are then applied to the empirical case of Greek-speaking Pontic refugees from Anatolia and their participation in the Greek Civil War. The thesis introduces the background and experiences of the researched ethnic group throughout the interwar period up until the Greek Civil War. The analysis of the particular incentives which were behind the Greek refugee's participation is supported by the qualitative research in the form of interviews with 21 witnesses, who fall into the researched group of families who originate from the Pontos region in Anatolia and have family experience of mobilization in Communist Insurgency of 1946 to 1949. To provide a sufficient volume of information from the anatomical and kinesiological sphere for the general public on the basis of the available literature. Point out the common mistakes when working with HSS individuals often commits. Assemble a training unit for 4 levels of complexity, from the simplest from the point of view of postural position, after the more challenging types. Each training unit to equip a reservoir and a description of the individual exercises for the subsequent implementation. Title: Comparison of the effectiveness of manual therapy and therapy using exercises in muscle postural strings for painful neck syndromes. Objective: The main aim of this work is to compare the effect of active and passive approaches, combinations thereof, used in normal physiotherapy practice for painful neck syndromes. Active physiotherapy techniques represent the concept of Dr. Raševa, exercises in open and closed kinematic strings and elements of developmental kinesiology. Passive physiotherapy techniques are soft tissue techniques, mobilization and manipulation. The combination of these techniques is the application of active and passive techniques, i.e. the concept of Dr. Rašev, exercises in open and closed kinematic strings, elements of developmental kinesiology and soft tissue techniques, mobilization and manipulation. Methods: The study involved a total of 30 probands with chronic neck pain, randomly divided into three groups of 10. The first group (LTV - health exercise) included active treatment approaches, i.e. the concept of Dr. Raševa, exercises in open and closed kinematic strings and elements of developmental kinesiology. Manual therapy for children - a summary

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize information about manual therapy for children. In the general part manual therapy from both Czech and foreign perspectives is described. It also provides a brief overview of relevant manual techniques, and summarizes the theories, that is to say how each technique works. The special part of the thesis is focused on pediatrics patients and describes the specifics of manual therapy with respect to the age of children. The development and growth of children is described and how therapists adapt certain techniques. The thesis then deals with contraindications of manual therapy in the pediatric population. Furthermore it summarizes positive experiences with manual therapy for the pediatric diagnoses. Part of the bachelor thesis is a case report of a patient at the age of 3,5 months for whom manual therapy was indicated.
