Leisure activity of pupils and students in the youth home

ABSTRACT: The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to find out how students and pupils evaluate past time activities in the boarding house at our schoul. After getting known the legislation of boarding houses and the characteristics of age - groups of accomodated students the survey was accomplished. Each student evaluated the past time activities in the same way they are evaluated at school (1-5). For better grafic presentatoin of the results the evaluation was converted into points. Final results were put into charts and diagrams. Our schoolmistresses evaluated freetime activities in the same way as students did. There were made a list of activities that students and pupils liked and it was compared with the list that mistresses set. The conculsion was to think about these results and their using for organizing past activities in our boarding house for the next school year.
Expectations of young men and women in partner relationships with an emphasis on meeting the emotional needs

The aim of this thesis is to provide the generationally authentic view of the issue of young men's and women's relationships with the focus on mapping their expectations and emotional needs satisfaction. The theoretical part describes the period of young adulthood that is specific exactly to a relationship build-up. The next part of the paper focuses on the phenomenon of love, problems of a partner choice and men's and women's specific expectations and emotional needs. The last chapter covers sexuality that is a natural part of relationships. The thematic areas are always accompanied by a pedagogical point of view because education has the significant impact in a partnerships formation. The practical part contains the survey of 60 respondents. The subject was young men's and women's expectations in a relationship. The main goal was to determine which expectations young men and women start a relationship with. The key result is the fact that men and women have different expectations in a relationship but they agree about the expectation of mutual love and understanding.

TITLE: Coping with sudden motility limitation and its implication - coping strategies among young people with spinal cord injury and with multiple sclerosis SUMMARY: This thesis is focused on process of adjustment of motility limitation, caused by spinal cord injury or by attack of multiple sclerosis, among young people. The motoric ability limitation affects their mobility as well as their social interaction, interests, plans and especially their independence. Thus, in age of gaining emancipation from nuclear family, they become dependant on their home-folks again. The theoretical part of the thesis acquaints with spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis from biological and psychosocial point of view, thereinafter it's engaged in coping generally and coping in relation to these two groups. Furthermore it's dealt with developmental periods characterization of adolescence and young adulthood, consequences of health turnover in self-concept in social context. The empirical part is based on semi-structured interviews with six young people (3 with spinal cord injury, 3 with multiple sclerosis). The importance of marriage from the perspective of the current young generation

This diploma thesis deals with the importance of marriage from the perspective of the current young generation. The work focuses on aspects that affect the view of the institute of marriage. We also deal with the period of young adulthood, where we also deal with mental and physical development, which is related to this period. In our work, we also focus on unmarried cohabitation, which is a popular form of cohabitation today. It is clear from the research survey that the current young generation is still interested in the conclusion of the institute of marriage and the main reason that should lead to the conclusion of marriage for most respondents is love for a partner.
Attitude to motherhood of university students

This bachelor thesis entitled Attitude to Motherhood of University Students discusses the current phenomenon of motherhood from the perspective of a specific group of women. Although parenthood is still perceived to be one of the main life goals that developmental psychology is expected to achieve in young adulthood, available research studies as in today's society it is not usual to address maternity issues in relation to university students. The dilemmas associated with parenting and career planning are particularly noticeable in this group of women. Women often solve these issues by themselves so the society cannot recognize that maternity issues of university students are very current. The author of this qualitatively oriented study looks for answers to a wide range of sub-research questions. Through the deep analysis and interpretation of respondents' testimonies, the author of this thesis reveals the attitude to motherhood of university students, introducing personal factors that play an important role in making decision and planning parenting, as well as the psychosocial factors influence the university students in this crucial decision. Posttraumatic Growth in Adolescents and Young Adults

The thesis focuses on posttraumatic growth in adolescents and young adults. The subject of the research is finding and tracking reactions and changes that emerge after a specific stimulus - an existentially experienced trauma, where at the core is realizing the threat of life and afterwards thinking about one's own death. The theoretical part deals with psychological and philosophical sources of current concepts of post-traumatic growth. These sources support our assumption that for the specific course of post-traumatic reactions and changes the subject category or objective severity of events is not relevant. It is the respondents own perception of a life threat. We also deal with a particular PTG model by Tedeschi and Calhoun, whose concept of changes after a major life event was chosen as the starting point for our research and whose PTGI questionnaire is used in the quantitative part. In the empirical part we chose mixed research design. First, a quantitative part of the research was carried out, involving 407 respondents aged 17-25. Quarter life crisis

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Quarter-life crisis. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with key topics focused on crisis, issues of Emerging Adulthood and developmental aspects of young adulthood. The empirical part includes a description of the research group, methodological specifics, research objectives and research questions. The research group consisted of 9 informants concerned with the issue. Qualitative research was used to provide research data, namely semi-structured and unstructured in-depth interviews. Using card unloading techniques, individual thematic categories and research results were presented and explained. All information obtained was compared with the information and knowledge provided by the experts and the information collected in the theoretical part of the research in the final phase. The aim of the thesis was to comprehensively map out the problems of crises and negative experiences of people at the age of 19-32 years. The partial objectives of the research were to find out the perceived causes of the emergence of these crises, the psychological problems accompanying the crisis and the strategies that effectively helped to overcome them. The research results point to a broad spectrum of simultaneous causes of the emergence of crises in this age group. These have both developmental and social and period specificities. Crises are accompanied by feelings of lack of meaning and problems of anxiety and depression. Contact with nature, physical activity, supportive social factors and self-realization have proved to be effective in overcoming the crises and problems associated with them.
The meaning of marriage for current young adults

The main objective of questionnaire survey was to determine the impact of marriage to young adults and if is it for them necessary in the case of family formation. The next objective was to determine which age is according to young adults regarded as ideal for entering into marriage. This bachelor thesis deals with marriage and its definition, describes the legal, sociological and theological concept of marriage. Focus was given to historical development. Bachelor thesis shows connection of marriage with family. Important part of bachelor thesis constitutes definiton of different types of cohabitation. Respondents were young adults and their characterization is described in this thesis. The conclusion shows the results of research.
