The issue of revision of the electric sliding contact machines
Kozumplík, Miroslav ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This work is dealing with issue about revisions of electrical equipment with focused on sliding contact. The first time I will deal enumaration and simple desription the mainly machines which uses sliding contact. The next time i will deal legislation two of standard for revision and then I will write about basic procedures for work with microscope. The next time I will bring photographic documentation of samples of brushes and at the last the strengh test of brushes with results.
Microscopic Analysis of Chips Security
Malčík, Dominik ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to work out an introduction to the chip packaging and decapsulation. Further can be found a description of a method leading to dacapsulate concrete chips. Final part is devoted to getting chip pictures using microscope and analysis of the pictures afterwards.
Light microscopy and its applications
Pokorný, Pavel ; Prochazka, David (referee) ; Lošťák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis describes problems of light microscopy for readers. Part of this bachelor´s thesis is dedicated to basic terms of the light microscopy. Next chapters are dedicated to observing techniques - brightfield illumination, darkfield illumination, oblique illumination, Rheinberg illumination, phase contrast, differential interference contrast, polarized light microscopy and fluorescence illumination.
Microscope and it´s use in engineering practice
Kopecký, Jiří ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This work deals with the use of the light microscope in industry and its use within the automatization of the diagnostic method specialized on electrical machines with a sliding contact. The method is called the dust particles method and it is used to determine the loss of the brushes used in the machines. The current method involves a manual evaluation of an acquired data, which demands additional tests and the evaluation itself is very difficult. The objective of this work is to simplify and accelerate the method using the computer analysis. First, the usage of the light microscope, through which the samples are obtained, is showed. The method uses these samples as the input. Then, the principles of the dust particles method are demonstrated and the image analysis using the MATLAB program follows. The guide to the image analysis with the elimination of rising defects using the MATLAB program is available. Then, the volume of the intercepted dust particles is calculated using the MATLAB program. The dust particles were obtained from the LFC 55h brush using the Arsenal LPT 1513 – T light microscope.
Design of manipulator of the sample for CCHM microscope
Špaček, Matěj ; Brada, Michal (referee) ; Dostál, Zbyněk (advisor)
In the Laboratory of the Experimental Biophotonics at Brno University of Technology, a new generation of the Coherence-Controlled Holographic Microscope (CCHM) is being developed. Because of the automation of certain microscope procedures, a fully motorized three axis computer controlled manipulator of the sample is to be employed. A fast and accurate lateral positioning in a range of several centimeters is required. For the focusing capability, very precise positioning in the optical axes is required as well. Initially, the basics of microscope manipulator design are presented. Then, commercially available solutions are introduced and compared with special focus on its possible implementation in the new generation of CCHM. However, due to the specific design of the new CCHM, available manipulators are not suitable. Therefore, a new optimized manipulator design is introduced in the second part of the thesis. A selection of its appropriate elements, especially actuators, is based on a review. For the new manipulator design, a technical documentation was made and a testing software was developed. A crucial part of the manipulator was assembled and tested.
Measurement of the properties of cells grown in hydrogel
Belák, Daniel ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
Main subject of this work is to present the possibilities of cultivation of cells in cultivation medium – hydrogel. Topic of the following part is introduction to the problematics of processing of the pictures made by light field microscopy and fluorescence microscopy. It studies the influence of parametres used in the process of stacking the pictures to reach the highest depth of field as possible. Last part is dedicated to measurement of the properties of cell cultures, its statistical processing and analysis.
Local characterization of electronic devices
Müller, Pavel ; Škarvada, Pavel (referee) ; Tománek, Pavel (advisor)
The development of micro and nanoelectronics and nanophotonics needs novel characterization techniques to ensure higher quality of designed devices. The thesis describes a use of Scanning Near-field Optical Microscopy (SNOM) in dimensional control and in local investigation of diverse physical parameters. As example of its potential, the correlation between object topography and reflection measurement of capacitors is shown.
Reconstruction of Data from Damaged CD/DVD
Jarolím, Jordán ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the reconstruction of data from a damaged CD/DVD. The aim is to create an application which will be able to get a bitstream from an image (scanned fragments of a disc) acquired by an optical or electron microscope. This thesis also examines a data representation on the disc, process of preparation of specimens of CD and DVD and scanning of these specimens. The algorithm of the created software, its testing and results are described in this thesis as well.
Use of water jet technology in a company
Faltus, Tomáš ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on water jet technology. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the principle and classification of this technology, the quality of the cut surfaces after water jet cutting, the types of bevels, and the equipment needed for this technology are described and analyzed. It also describes the use of an abrasive water jet in machining and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of this technology. Additionally, the thesis presents the machinery of the company with which the author of the diploma thesis worked, as well as its production range. The practical part of the work is devoted to the experiment, which consists in selecting a component for the production of samples using two abrasive nozzles, with subsequent assessment of the quality of the machined surfaces in relation to the size of the diameter of the abrasive nozzles as well as in relation to the materials and their thickness. Two materials of two different thicknesses were used for the samples. The quality of the machined surfaces was measured using two roughness meters. The average arithmetic deviation of the profile Ra and the largest height of the profile Rz were measured. At the end of the thesis, the deflection of the beam is measured using a microscope, and the consumption and the price of the abrasive for individual sample components were also calculated.
Research-like education in primary schools
Svátková, Barbora ; Vančata, Václav (advisor) ; Skýbová, Jana (referee)
In this thesis, we assume a pan-European issue of the decline of interest in science and science education. In connection with this issue we conducted a literature search. We have also mapped the literature related to the issue of education research in the Czech Republic and the rest of the world. In an effort to increase pupils' interest, increase enthusiasm for science, we deal with activation teaching methods that compare with frontal teaching. As a motivational method we chose a research method of teaching. We prepared a lesson, which we tested among pupils of secondary school. In this work we watched 16 hours in 6 classes. Those lectures were inquiry and frontal way led. The results are presented in the practical part of this thesis. During lectures we wanted to stimulate students' interest in science and science research. Keywords academic instruction, frontal teaching, science education, cooperation, sensors Pasco, microscope, pupil, elementary school, Key Competencies
