Title: The Design of Universal Models of Assistive Devices for Production Using a 3D Printing to Improve the Self-sufficiency of People with Acquired Brain Injury Abstract: Background: Patients with acquired brain injury often need to be equipped with personalized compensatory aids to increase paretic upper limb involvement and self-sufficiency. One of technologies for production of aids is 3D printing, which is use abroad. Limit is professional and time consuming in preparation of 3D models of printing aids. Reducing this complexity is possible by creating universal 3D models that allow change dimensions of aid without professional intervention. Goal: Main goal is design universal 3D models of aids. Aids help patients engage paretic upper limb and increase self-sufficiency. Based on analysis, activities of daily living in patients with acquired brain injury were selected. Methodology: Author created Record Form data collection, guidelines were created to minimize subjectivity in acquisition of data from occupational therapists. My bachelor under the title "Past and present School of Jaroslav Jezek in the context of teaching Czech language" thesis deals with the early education and teaching of visually impaired children in the Private institution for blind childrenand sick eyes and further it describes the current characteristics and principles of teaching visually impaired children at the elementary school of Jaroslav Jezek. The bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the history of education and teaching visually impaired children in the Czech lands. The second chapter summarizes the principles and specifics of teaching and further highlights the importance of touch and compensatory aids during the class. The third chapter follows the influence of reading and the spoken word for children with visual impairments. The fourth chapter deals with the course of lesson of Czech language at the elementary school of Jaroslav Jezek and competitions and cultural events in which children participate

The final thesis on the topic specific educational needs of visually impaired teachers as part of continuing professional education focuses on needs and opportunities related to education and lifelong education of visually impaired teachers in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the support, rehabilitation and use of assistive devices for this education. Furthermore, mapping companies and organizations supporting the visually impaired and offers examples of good practice. The practical part analyzes the possibilities of further professional education of visually impaired teachers, and seeks to identify the needs and currently offers this education into practice. Partnership of persons after a spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury

This bachelor thesis aims to provide an insight into the current situation regarding the people suffering from brain damage or spinal cord injury and the impact of such disability on their partner life. The main focus of the study is to highlight the patient's problems connected with partner life, summary of the occupational therapy intervention possibilities for patients and the evaluation of tool portfolio designed to provide a positive utility in partner life. In addition, the theoretical part discusses the insight of both patients and experts on the basic problems in partner life based on the various stage and form of disability as well as the description of therapeutic tools created to help with these disabilities. The research part is devoted to the interviews with patients who suffer from spinal cord injury or brain damage and address their difficulties from the perspective of occupational therapists. Barbora Hrušková, Rodičovství osob s těžkým zrakovým postižením Abstract (in English) The diploma thesis researches practical aspects of the parental role of persons with severe visual impairment. Its aim is to describe the experiences of visually impaired parents with preparing for the arrival of a child, with parental role and with childcare during a preschool age. At the same time it aims to chart the social services available to this group and to determine the extent to which they actually use these services, or whether they are missing some services. Due to differences in the availability of services in Prague and in smaller towns, the whole diploma thesis is focused on the territory of Prague. The theoretical part describes a person with severe visual impairment, including its specifics in different areas of life. It also deals with possible different aspects of parenting for people with visual disabilities. It provides a description of compensatory aids and explains their important role in the lives of visually impaired people. Next it acquaints readers with the possibilities of financial support for visually impaired parents primarily by the state.
