"Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?" Job, Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, Blaise Pascal, Friedrich Nietzsche. - The Question of Human Being as an Answer to it

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the question of the essence of man in the historical1 cross-section from "biblical" times, through the Renaissance to Nietzsche, in conjunction with the interpretation of Nietzsche's relationship to the Old Testament and possible interpretations Nietzsche's Zarathustra. I based this theiss on the question that the God asks Job about his questions, so on the counter-question: "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?"2 At the beginning, I try to define the question and understand what the question is and what it means to us; later, after taking into account the question, I try to apply the question to variations of Job, Mirandola, Nietzsche. Discriminatory practices of recruiters in the job search process in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis aims to describe and reveal discriminatory practices faced by candidates in the labor market in the Czech Republic. Using perspective and point of view of recruiters introduces an innovative element in examining discriminatory practices. Attention is paid to particular methods of recruitment, as they vary greatly. Each of them is targeting a different group of candidates for a job. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is theoretical, it introduces readers to the legislative regulation and protection against discrimination in the Czech law system. It shows the human capital theory, theory of queues and signals and personalist agenda. The second section is methodological, defining data and data collection methods. Following part is devoted to research itself, it describes the identified data from interviews with communication partners, which are then interpreted in the context of the theoretical background. Research among recruiters is focused on finding the characteristics of the ideal job candidate, fairness of admission process, but also to the used discriminatory practices. Final section brings the most important findings.
Employment of Persons Suffering from Mild Intellectual Disability in Kladno region

The aim of this thesis is to analyse employment of people suffering from mild intellectual disability. The thesis briefly describes those learning difficulties and selects a mild intellectual disability from a wide range of other mental disabilities. The text is based on the fact that people with learning difficulties are able to work, live in a family and become members of the society as well as to be independent citizens. However, there is a necessity to help those people not only with regard to their educational process, but also on the labour market, which is apparently highly competitive even for people without any special needs. The thesis is also focused on various possibilities of people suffering from learning difficulties in the terms of enabling them to get a job. In accordance with the regulation on mild intellectual disability people, the thesis suggests many of suitable positions within service industry. Owing to the fact that people with this type of disease are under protection of the law, and that there are some incentives for employers, nowadays it is much easier to find them a job. Analysis of the workplace of the workshop teacher

This thesis focuses on the job analysis of the professional training teacher. The output is the job description. For the purpose of the research the group of respondents is narrowed down to the specialization Hairdresser. The first part is theoretical overview based on literature and relevant internet sources, it is focused on the explanation of basic terms related to the jobs analysis. The practical part describes the situation in schools and provides basic characteristics of respondents. The job analysis carried out through a questionnaire survey follows. Analysis result is a job description, the final version is completed by a direct interview with a supervisor of the examined position. The final job description should facilitate the tender for principals of schools, it can serve as a basis for the tender notice and subsequently facilitate the selection of a suitable candidate for the position of the professional education teacher. The candidates should get a better idea of the job, of what its purpose is and what the duties and responsibilities relating to it are. These descriptions considerably help labor office employees to mediate contacts between employers and job candidates.
Manageriness as Mothers. Life Stories that leads to Interruption of Social Concessions

In this short qualitative study, which is called "MANAGERINESS AS MOTHERS. LIFE STORIES THAT LEADS TO INTERRUPTION OF SOCIAL CONCESSIONS…", author is dealing with the issue of combining family and working life in lives of Czech women in managerial positions. Eight communication partners that participated in this study show us with their life story, that even mothers can by professionally successful. In an analysis of interviews, subject such as planned motherhood, changes in lifestyle after the birth of a child, instruments that helps to harmonize family and working life, home care or the importance of education and money in lives of these women, are shown. At the end of the study the author comes to conclusion that their success costs not only on their determination and help from surrounding, but also on their financial possibilities, that their positions brings to them.
