Small Company Mobile Security

In the course of the work, an analysis of security issues with the use of mobile devices in a small company is created. Based on this analysis, are identified risks that could have an impact on the security of the company's information due to malicious code on the mobile device or unauthorized access to the mobile device. To eliminate or reduce these risks, are proposed safety measures inspired by the measures in the ČSN ISO/IEC 27002 standard, on which the bachelor's thesis is focused.

Nowadays M Computers ltd. established mainly as a hardware reseller is being faced with a decision about the answer to these changes and further direction of the business to gain the competitive advantage. The goal of presented master`s thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current position of the company using the methods of strategic analysis. Furthermore a proposal of company strategy by the year 2009 will be provided.

Tato diplomová práce navrhuje marketingovou strategii pro firmu Mediahost podnikající v oboru hostingových služeb. Strategie je zaměřená na slovenský, tedy pro společnost domácí trh. Strategie je podložená příslušnou analýzou. V tomhle případe byl použit “seven Cs” model, taktéž znám jako Compass model, a to spolu se SWOT analýzou. Strategie navrhuje komplexní marketingovou strategii odrážející současné prostředí hostingového trhu.

Business plan is important and undivided part of company management and of business planning. My master’s thesis points on usefulness of business plan as a medium for beginning entrepreneur, with low capital base, which is searching concepts how to push his visions trough in market. The master’s thesis introduces concrete practical example of creation and maintenance of new generation web portal. Description of usage in marketing and business point of view. This plan also contains concepts of company structure and plan of company expansion in three years term. Parts of the document are estimations of portal and company costs and also estimations of revenues. Document is draw up for multiple usage of business plan, not only for business visions presentation, but also as a concept for obtaining of financial resources from investors.

Virtualisation and Optimalisation of IT in a Production Company

The master‘s thesis deals with the implementation of server virtualization in the Entity production, s.r.o., which is a small company by it’s size, but needs modern IT technologies for the normal operations. The thesis shows how to reuse the server virtualization technologies from large corporations, that have been unavailable to small business companies in past. It also design show to optimize the current IT environment.

Global IT Corporation Marketing Strategies

The subject of this diploma thesis is description and analysis of marketing starategies of selected global IT corporations. Theoretical part deals with individual marketing strategies, their similarities and differences and compares their attitude towards markets and customers. Next part focuses on evaluating efficiency of said strategies described in the first part and on possible prognosis of marketing develompents in IT in the future. Final chapter applies aquired information to Czech market.

This master’s thesis is focused on creating proposals for the optimization of the current state of project management of chosen startup which will increase the success of projects. It is also focused on the concept of project management of the company for its future development. Firstly, the thesis describes the theoretical background. Then, there is analyzed the current state of the company's project management and there are researched the best practises and lessons learned of project managers in the IT sphere. Based on the outputs and the use of project management methods, possible suggestions for improvement are created.
