ADHD Children in the Elementary School

The bachelor dissertation "ADHD Children in the Elementary School" concentrates on possibilities, forms and conditions of integration of schoolchildren with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder in elementary schools. By using induction method it deals with options of their education. The dissertation focuses on theoretical and practical methodology being applied for integration targets in common primary schools where education of intergrated schoolchildren mostly takes place. The first part contains basic information about inattention and hyperactivity syndrome, its etiology, diagnosis and ways of affecting their symptoms. The second part summarizes legislative support and individual integration forms in Czech elementary schools. While the most common ways of integration of distraction children into district schools is main subject of the third part, the fourth one analyses long term observation experience gathered from the education assistant's work with intergrated child. The last part also brings common recommendations for teachers and tutors of inattentive and hyperactive pupils. PaedDr. Stanislav Bendl, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This thesis is focused on Mathematics Teachers and Their Professional Development. The thoretical part describes the Czech system of in-service education of teachers in the context of lifelong learning. It introduces its legislative classification and describes an alternative classification. The following part offers the list of information resources, which are useful for Mathematics teachers and the list of what the current offer of further education courses for Mathematics teachers is, including selfstudying activities. The relevant links are quoted in the appendices. The empirical part analyses, interprets and evaluates the qualitative research among Mathematics teachers, which determines their experience with in-service education/professional development, their attitudes and opinions in this field. Furthermore, this part analyses their attitudes from the constructivism in Mathematics teaching's point of view. Transforming teacher education of chemistry in the Czech republic

Title: Transforming teacher education of chemistry in the Czech Republic Abstract: The title of the dissertation is 'Transforming teacher education of chemistry in the Czech Republic'. The work describes and analyzes the current system of the pregraduate prospective teachers' training of chemistry at universities and faculties of science focused on teaching science as well the subsequent in-service education of chemistry teachers in this country. The work also takes into account the post-war development of education in the republic from 1945 until present and the list of all the universities and faculties that educate chemistry teachers. In-service education of teachers of economic subjects in secondary schools

The aim of this work is to analyze the current state of In-service education of teachers of economic subjects in secondary schools throughout the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on the theoretical knowledge in further education of teachers. The essence of the empirical part is the research project. Using the questionnaire survey I am trying to find out the current approach of teachers of economic subjects in secondary schools to further education. Based on this investigation (return of the questionnaire) I have managed to achieve 21% success rate. Based on the results of the investigation I have made suggestions and recommendations for pedagogical practice.
Further education of teachers at elementary school

This thesis describes education of teachers at elementary school with a view of legal regulation in this issue. Main attention is given on issues of qualification with concrete research at elementary school in Horní Slavkov. Main goal of my work was to define the status of qualification at the school and to compare it with average values in region and whole republic. Then I tried to find possibilities how to gain qualification for teachers in region and I suggested possible improvements. As method I used the analysis of data and questionnaire survey. In the thesis there are chapters about methods of education, remuneration of teachers and planned ganges in this issue. At the end I suggested some recommendations how to provide qualified staff at school.
