Gender Identity in the Work of Claude Cahun

The bachelor thesis deals with the question of gender identity in the artistic production of French artist Claude Cahun. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the concept of sex, gender and identity in the context of Claude Cahun's life. Furthermore, her multiple selves, which she presents in her work through encrypted messages, is an important topic. She hides in her constructed world full of masks, masquerades, mirrors, doubles and stagings, behind the curtain of which she only let her partner, Suzanne Malherbe. The didactic part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the proposal of the use of the photomontage technique in art education and its connection with other disciplines. The initial inspiration comes from the photomontages contained in the book Aveux non avenus, complementing the mostly autobiographical text by Claude Cahun. The main theme of the book is the search for oneself and one's own identity through text and illustrative images. In the book, Cahun has created her own world by rearranging her photographs and forming new wholes, which she has achieved through photomontage. Humour in post-digital collage

The work focuses on the phenomenon of post-digital humorous collage, which is present in the contemporary world in various situations of our visual perception, from the digital environment to the physical one. The text will interpret internet memes, analyze the works of artists focusing on collage in post-digital society and the joke as such. According to the analysed images and collages, a series of collages reflecting a specific exhibition is then created in the practical part. This bachelor's thesis deals with the educational approaches of teachers in nursery schools. The technique of collage was chosen for depicting educational attitudes.The bachelor thesis aimed to find out via the collage and the dialogue which educational approaches the teachers at nursery schools have. The theoretical part deals with the teacher´s character, educational styles, and approaches and as well as the collage as the arttherapeutical techniques. The practical part is concerned with the used methods in the research. That is the qualitative research, the dialogue method over the collage. Further, there are some assignments described, art therapy with eight responders, their collages, and as well the contents that can be found in the collages with consideration of the topic and the aim of this bachelor thesis.

Experimental poetry in applied arts teaching for a second grade of primary school

The presented theoretical and project diploma thesis deals with the theme of the Czech experimental poetry of the 60s and 70s of the 20th century and its elaboration through an art - literary project at the 2nd grade of elementary school. The theoretical part gives a general insight into the issues of experimental poetry and project teaching, the project part in which the proposed project is implemented follows. In addition to the described implementation, the project part also includes a didactic analysis of partial lessons. The diploma thesis complements the pictorial annexes related to the theoretical part, photographic documentation of partial lessons and proposed structured preparation.

Dream Journals

Dream Journals is an art installation which is reflecting my dream world. Long term collected text notes are my thematic fragments for finding a found footage videos. The selection is based on visual similarities and atmosphere. These videos are combined with textures and found sounds. A spectator can't see clean digital image but he's looking through transparent material. The fact that video has not defined start and end amplifies dream aesthetics.

It's dedicating mostly to collage techniques, whose authors are chosen from the Czech art in the early 20th century. The following section presents the work of contemporary artists. Theoretical principles discussed in the work are converted into art award for students of Secondary Vocational School of Education and Higher Vocational School of Education and Social Sciences. Dream in Czech art of the first half of the 20th century and the dream theme in art education

The main aim of this thesis is concerned with dream as an inspirational source and as specific state of mind. Theoretical part describes dream from psychological point of view but also dream ramifications on the art in the first half of the 20th century. The thesis describes not only an introduction of surrealism as a new art style in French and Czech countries, but also birth of new art techniques. The work also maps dream reports of Jindřich Štyrský and their depictions as an author's primary source of imagination. Didactic part includes a survey aimed at sixth grader's dreams and didactic project consists of four painting tasks. Each task thematically follows specific parts of theoretical chapter. Metamorphoses of Narrator in Novels of Jaromír John This diploma paper focuses on the function of the narrator and his various forms in John's prosaic work. It deals with the issue of the construction of the fictional world and how the narrator influences the reader's understanding of the described events. Primarily, we try to compare the narrative categories of the main contemporary concepts as influenced by Shlomith Rimmon-Kenan, Franz Stanzel and Lubomír Doležel. It is our terminology base. Theoretical understanding of the narrator is the basis for the analysis of John's fiction from the aspect of narrative types applied to a selected sample of author's works: the anthology of the tales with war theme Večery na slamníku, novels Moudrý Engelbert, Výbušný zlotvor, Pampovánek, Honda Cibulků; marginally Estét and other works. Concurrently this work aims to describe construction methods that are typical for John's creative style - it is mainly the use of irony, the principle of collage and documentary elements. It shows that the author's work at that time belonged to the experimental stream of Czech prose. Also, we observe the relationship between author's prose work and his aesthetic concept.
