Valuation of real estates using statistical methods
Funiok, Ondřej ; Pecáková, Iva (advisor) ; Řezanková, Hana (referee)
The thesis deals with the valuation of real estates in the Czech Republic using statistical methods. The work focuses on a complex task based on data from an advertising web portal. The aim of the thesis is to create a prototype of the statistical predication model of the residential properties valuation in Prague and to further evaluate the dissemination of its possibilities. The structure of the work is conceived according to the CRISP-DM methodology. On the pre-processed data are tested the methods regression trees and random forests, which are used to predict the price of real estate.
Experiments in Mechanics for Interactive Physics Laboratory
Kopřiva, Tomáš ; Šabatka, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Kekule, Martina (referee)
The main points of this bachelor's thesis are some kinds of mechanic experiments. Process in a theoretical way and in the form of work sheets/lists and experiments verify(ies)individual or each law of mechanics, namely Law of Concervation of energy, Law of Conservation of momentum and other Newton's laws. Next worksheet is focused on problematics of resistive forces, which is changing assumend results of (our) experiments to the separate work there are covered individual worksheets a their example solution(s) or sample solutions. There is a set of worksheets and CD, scanned worksheets which were filled in by students, worksheets, interface (there are links on them in the thesis) in the annex There is whole bachelor's thesis in CD too. Keywords: experiment, mechanical laws, worksheet, cart
Design of Electric Platform Truck

Selected aspects of immunopathogenesis of HIV infection
Bartovská, Zofia ; Holub, Michal (advisor) ; Boštík, Pavel (referee) ; Marešová, Vilma (referee)
Introduction: Virus-specific CD8+ T cells are crucial to suppress the viral replication in HIV infection. Their functional status is important as well. Also, the chronic nonspecific immune activation of T and B lymphocytes plays an important role in the immunopathogenesis of HIV infection. Aim of the study: To analyze the frequency and functional status of HIV-specific CD8+ T cells and the expression of nonspecific activation markers on B and T cells in HIV+ patients and to assess the effect of combined antiretroviral therapy (cART) on these parameters. Patients and methods: Our cohort included 80 HIV+ patients: 36 HIV+ patients on cART, 18 patients without therapy, in whom cART was introduced during our study, 9 patients without therapy, 10 patients with primary HIV infection, 3 long-term non-progressors and 4 patients initially on cART, in whom the therapy was discontinued. Control group consisted of 34 HIV- healthy individuals. We examined CD4+ a CD8+ T cell counts, viral load, expression of nonspecific activation markers on T cells and the frequency of HIV-specific CD8+ T cells by ELISpot method and flow cytometry using MHC tetramers and intracellular cytokine detection. Results: No significant differences in HIV-specific CD8+ T cells were found between treated and untreated HIV+ patients. The frequency...
Design of automatic feeder of movable shelfs of storage system SSL LogiMat
Stoklásek, Tomáš ; Dlesk, Daniel (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is automatic movable shelves feeder design. the feeder is part of vertical lift storage system Logimat Total weight of movable shelf is 760 kg. The technical report contains feeder design calculation, feeder’s main parts strength calculation and the design of the way of picking the movable shelf from the storage lift. The report also contains feeder’s frame strength analysis using finite element method and sensor design for motion control.
Accessory Equipment For Passenger Car Manipulation
Buryšek, Adam ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals about equipment for manipulation with passenger car. It represents a summary of present equipment and engineering design of such devices. The purpose of this thesis is to make more efficient work with passenger cars for the ÚADI needs.
Meta-learning
Hovorka, Martin ; Hrabec, Jakub (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
Goal of this work is to make acquaintance and study meta-learningu methods, program algorithm and compare with other machine learning methods.
Lift trucks
Janda, Jiří ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a comprehensive comparison of forklifts, which are available on the Czech market. In each chapter discusses the general criteria for the assessment of industrial trucks, such as driving and lifting mechanism. The work includes the possibility of energy recovery.
Comparisons of discriminant analysis and classification trees
Dlabač, Jaroslav ; Vilikus, Ondřej (advisor) ; Stecenková, Marina (referee)
This bachelor thesis compares two methods to discrimination and classification of data in multivariate statistics analysis. While discriminant analysis represents the classical statistical method for discrimination and subsequent classification data method, CART is a new procedure in data-minig, which uses artificial intelligence. The first half of this work is devoted to theoretical description and comparison of these two methods. The second half is the demonstration of both methods on practical example. At the end, the results of both methods are compared and evaluated.
Classification and Regression Trees in R
Nemčíková, Lucia ; Bašta, Milan (advisor) ; Vilikus, Ondřej (referee)
Tree-based methods are a nice add-on to traditional statistical methods when solving classification and regression problems. The aim of this master thesis is not to judge which approach is better but rather bring the overview of these methods and apply them on the real data using R. Focus is made especially on the basic methodology of tree-based models and the application in specific software in order to provide wide range of tool for reader to be able to use these methods. One part of the thesis touches the advanced tree-based methods to provide full picture of possibilities.
