Ecological determinants of plant clonal growth
Martincová, Nina ; Weiser, Martin (advisor) ; Latzel, Vít (referee)
The aim of this study is to provide a further insight into influence of environment on clonal plants. The study focuses particularly on effects of fertilization level and light availability on production and growth of clonal organs. Three experiments were carried out within the study, targeted to elicit influence of these environmental conditions or clonal interactions on six species of clonal plants. Interspecies dependencies on these conditions was compared, regarding habitat occurrence of these species. A comparison was made also between species producing rhizomes and stolons. The experiments revealed that five of six studied species show significant relationship among at least one environmental condition and parameters of clonal reproduction. Most of the species showed higher elongation and production of clonal organs in relation to fertilization level. On the contrary, only three species reacted significantly to the light availability level by alternation of at least one parameter of clonal reproduction and the light availability level affected each species differently. A strong influence on production and elongation of clonal organs had also a size of a plant. There was not found significant difference in influence of environmental conditions on clonal reproduction among plant families. It...
Habitat dependence of persistence of clonal connection in plants
Martincová, Nina ; Weiser, Martin (advisor) ; Koubek, Tomáš (referee)
The review is about the role of environment to the longevity of connection in clonal plants. The first part is dealing with theoretical models, which describe the interaction of plants with different strategies in longevity of clonal connection in a model habitat. Subsequently, it analyses concrete attributes of the environment - heterogeneity, carrying capacity, amount of disturbances and competition. This part focuses more thoroughly on their impact on persistence of clonal connection and strategy of clonal reproduction in general. The last part refers to some other phenomena which could influence the length of persistence of a clonal connection.
Effects and consequences of turistifacion in Teplice
Čáslavová, Eva ; Fialová, Dana (advisor) ; Anděl, Jiří (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with effects and consequences of touristification in the spa town of Teplice. The aim of this work is the analysis of current state of Teplice's spa therapy and monitoring of functional changes in the town. The emphasis is placed on activities, relational links and the level of co- operation and attitudes of the main participants in the tourism in the town. An inseparable part is also an opinion poll (investigation) among local residents. The aim of this dissertation is, except for findings and an evaluation of effects of touristification in the area of interest, also the suggestion of steps leading to stabilization and improvement of the situation. Structural design of a new type stacking device
Pisinger, Petr ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the structural design of the collector which is an adapter for a front loader tractor. This facility will be designed primarily for handling bales of straw. The input parameters are the lift height of 1.6 meters from the basic position. Adapter Capacity 270 kg and a maximum weight of 300 kg. To fix the adapter to a stacking device for loader is used euro system.

Steel load-carrying structure of production hall with bridge crane
Štulrajterová, Terézia ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of a steel load-bearing structure of a two-aisle production hall. That hall has a rectangular ground plan of a width 32 m (20 + 12 m) and lenght 54,54 m (9 modules distanced 6 m from each other). The main aisle is 10 m high and inside is located a overhead crane with carrying capacity 5 t. The second aisle is used as a storage area for materials that have already been produced. The skeleton of production hall is made of a ten transversal bindings. Lattice trusses are hinged mounted on constraint pillars of solid poles. The hall is situated in the north of the Czech Republic in the city of Děčín.
The influence of tourism on socio-cultural environment of regions
Mokrošová, Petra ; Netková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Peterková, Jana (referee)
The tourism industry is one of the fastest growing economic branches in the world. Because of a multiplication effect, which is one of it's important characteristics, it creates suitable conditions for increasing an economic and socio-cultural value of a region. Nevertheless, this value increasing depends on a development level of a region, it's potential to develop tourism and a co-ordination of activities which ensure the potential development. Research was mostly focused on economic impacts of tourism development in regions. But it's impacts on socio-cultural environment are very important as well. If tourism development is managed responsibly in a region it can generate considerable positive effects on local communities (first of all an improvement of living standards, development of public facilities etc.). In the opposite case it can generate irretrievable negative effects, especially changes of local community lifestyle , changes in local social and cultural values or changes in physical environment. On one hand tourism contributes to keep cultural diversity in the world and mediates cognition and interaction between different people and cultures , on the other hand it transmits negative aspects of globalization which tend to affect traditions and specific cultures of particular regions in a destructive way. So the aim of the diploma thesis is to point out psychological and sociological aspects of tourism, it's relation to culture and cultural identity and it's impacts on local communities. The analysis is focused on Prague characteristics and tourism impacts on it's socio-cultural environment.
