Analysis of the performance in the men's marathon run from 1945 to the present in the Czech Republic
PODLEŠÁKOVÁ, Lenka
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the development of the performance of Czech competitors on the marathon track. The aim of the thesis was to find out how the performance of our marathon runners evolved over time and whether the marathon time scale was rather shortened or extended. In the analytical part, there were first described the basic characteristics of the marathon, such as its history, long-run runner assumptions, training developments, the effect of altitude on performance, or, for example, how the state supports marathon runners and sport. The synthetic part of the thesis contains graphs and tables, obtained from data analysis, which were obtained in tables and in athletics yearbooks. These are very important indicators of marathon performance development. Most of the graphs shows that performance has risen since the start of the period under review until the 1990s. In the first half of the period under review, Czech athletes were most supported by the state and the way for their success was more supported by the state than in the second half. The loss of support after the fall of the Communist Party was one of the reasons why we do not currently have a marathon runner who is approaching a new Czech record. In conclusion, it is worthwhile to support a broader base of athletes, where a strong individual sportman can occur who will succeed on the international scene.

Lelek, Miroslav ; Pichrt, Jan (advisor) ; Morávek, Jakub (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of a status of individual professional athlete. This issue seems to be easy to resolve as the legal doctrine unanimously classifies individual professional athletes as self-employed. However, further examination provides more detailed view and illustrates the issue is not as unambiguous as one might assume. Thus the aim of the thesis was to analyse the status and sports activity performance of individual professional athlete both theoretically and practically. The analysis of the sports activity performance of single individual professional athletes points out that their performances are different to a great extent. The sports activity performance of some athletes can be even without any doubt considered as a dependent work in terms of labour law. It results in fact that some of individual professional athletes conducts sports activity as self-employed, some of them are employees and some of them even professional soldiers. Every single legal status is connected with various benefits but also with some difficulties. In addition, according to predominant practice and regardless on the nature of their sports activity performance athletes are free to choose their legal status. The thesis also partly concentrates on complex issue of civil liability of athletes...

Simple, choice and disjunctive reaction time of lower limbs was measured through the Fitro Agility Check test. The results processing, including statistical procedures, was carried out using the Matlab (MathWorks, Inc.) programming environment, an IBM SPSS Statistics 22. Three-way ANOVA and Tukey post-hoc tests (α=0.05) were used to determine the individual parameters connection. Results: With increasing age, year over year, we found important differences and reaction time decreases of all types of reaction speeds. Testing brings to light the fact that the most noticeable decrease of both selection and disjunctive reaction time of lower limbs are between groups of 11 year olds (11.00-11.99) and 12 year olds (12.00-12.99).
