The Moral Dimension of Aesthetic Experience in the Pragmatic Pedagogy

Concept of pragmatic pedagogy is based on the education by experience, which is essential for an individual's development and for the directing of the individual's abilities. Art provides a form of specific experience based on which you can cultivate cognitive and emotional conditions of value judgments and thus contribute to the moral development of a child. The processes of experiencing, interpreting and evaluating the work of art are based on everyday experience and it relates to both the unique requirements of an individual and the conditions of a certain socio-cultural environment in which he lives.
Project: Pre-school aesthetical education "PAE"

The main topic of this diploma thesis is project called Pre-school aesthetic education "PAE", which is tought at Elementary Art School. In theoretical part are generally explained terms aesthetic, aesthetic education and their brief history, current possibilities of aesthetic education in selected Elementary Art Schools and characteristic of PAE project. Research part focus on acquisition of the project in education at Elementary Art Schools, effectiveness in the selection of artistic field in pre-school age and at least suitability of including this project into the School Education Program of other Elementary Art Schools. For the research were used empirical methods (observations, questionnaire, interviews). Overall results of research are based on comparison and evaluation of the answers from all respondent categories. These results show positive evaluation of PAE, which suitably fills the pre-school period of children with meaningful activities, which are connected with comprehensive development of personality. Extensive appendix brings closer view to the work of children in PAE classes. It contains scanned pictures, newspaper articles and patterns of questionnaires. Aesthetic Education in the concept of Bohumil Markalous

5.2 Resumé v anglickém jazyce Aesthetic Education in the concept of Bohumil Markalous. The object of this thesis is the work of Bohumil Markalous. This author dedicated his lifework to Aesthetic Education. His works on this topic have never been published together. They were published only in form of many articles and essays in newspapers, journals and magazines. This work is based on texts about Aesthetic Education written not only by Markalous, but also by other authors as we try to present their concepts as well. Among the most important authors we can name Otakar Hostinský, Josef Patočka and Otakar Zich. In the first part of our work we dedicate ourselves to the way Bohumil Markalous formed his opinions about the development of Aesthetic Education. The second part of our work focuses on the author`s concept of Aesthetic Education itself. In the third part of this work is we deal with the current state of education in relation to the development of Aesthetic Education. In addition to the topic of aesthetics, we deal with the term Eidiko, used by the author to refer to the cultivation of the senses, especially of sight.
South-Bohemian theatre - the phenomenon of leisure time

Point of this bachelor thesis was to introduce the history and structure of South-bohemian theatre, especially its function and connection to leisure time of children, youth and adults. This introduction should take place through education, leisure time, also in socialization process and by gaining the knowledge of the culture, the subject was born in. The connection of leisure time and the art is very significant. It enriches the person in all aspects of his experiences and perceptions. Although its very important to teach the subject how to approach and observe art. Theatre is a syncretic environment in which the musical, dramatic and artistic fields are tightly connected. Theatre is one of the nonviolent forms of how to spend the leisure time and simple way to aesthetic education.
