Risk Management Focused on the Reliability and Efficiency of the Human Factor

The mater’s thesis focuses on the issue of the reliability and efficiency performance of the human factor, identifying the risks of potential causes of failure of the chosen company. Based on the theoretical knowledge referred to in the first part thesis is designed procedures useful as a tool to prevent individual failures, focusing on solutions to the adverse conditions of stress or crisis when exposed to the human factor. The final section suggests the motivation of employees by proactively identifying risks.

First part of the thesis results from theoretical findings concerning the given issue that were processed on the basis of professional literature. This work describes finding which motivational factors influence higher working performance in the company T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. I was interested in the reasons whitch result in poor working motivation and how is possible this situation make better. I realized a questionnaire interview. My conclusion is that financial motivation in this company is sufficient but desire for powerful leade isn't.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on human resources management, styles and tools of management and motivation in the chosen company. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts related to human resources management and employee motivation from a general point of view, which have been elaborated from a number of professional publications. The literature search is the starting point for the practical part in which the company's incentive system is described. A questionnaire has been prepared to evaluate the management style and employee motivation in order to increase the efficiency of the company's work. Before the conclusion of the bachelor's thesis, proposals for adjustments to the human resources management style and recommendations to increase the efficiency of the company's employees' work performance are given.
Analysis of Manager's Approach to Leading People

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of leading people in the environment of small and medium-sized enterprises, specifically in academic start-ups and spin-offs. Using a questionnaire survey, it investigates what leadership style is most used by managers in this group of enterprises, also considering the set criteria. The pilot research shows that the most used leadership style is transformational leadership, and that there are also characteristics that when a manager possesses, his leadership is more effective. Based on these characteristics, the thesis proposes a so-called matrix of manager's characteristics.
