Prednasky.com - system for automatic lecture processing

The objective of this thesis is to create system for automated processing of the video lectures. There are two main parts in this thesis. Bash Framework, which is created from several separated atomic tasks. At the beginning we have a simple video prepared for processing. When it is processed, there are added intro part, subtitles and synchronized presentation. Second part of this thesis is a web application. It is designated for playing, editing and creating videos. Further it provides process management of created framework and whole system administration.
Application of SEO for marketing

The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the current ways of optimizing websites for search engines (SEO) and to apply them in a broader marketing strategy of italian restaurant La Casa Degli Amici. The thesis presents evidence about the importance of SEO for marketing and can be used as a template for optimizing you own website. This thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the concepts used in the design and implementation of the practical part. The theoretical part considers 3 main subjects - search engine, users and SEO which represents website creation and optimization. This thesis describes the history of search engines and the way search engines analyze and evaluate a website. It also describes user search strategies and the way users read the search results. In the SEO section we show its advantages, brief history, SEO strategies and description of techniques and tools that can be used for SEO. In the practical part we put together a marketing strategy which consists of website creation, implementation of selected SEO techniques and social network marketing. Implementation of the marketing strategy is evaluated on data obtained during the period between 1. 8. 2016 and 31. 11. 2016. Owner of the restaurant has provided data on sales which were used for overall evaluation of implemented marketing strategy.
Complex Optimization of Company Website

This thesis focuses on the complex optimization of Genius web’s website using responsive solution, more suitable structure, more user-friendly environment, optimization for browsers and marketing. My solution allows to visitor easy access from any known device without disturbing website structure or necessity of manual configuration for this device. In the long term, there will be better accessibility thanks to good search engine rankings.
30-day Challenge

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web-based application whose job is to fight procrastination and help the user achieve goals using 30-day challenges. This work addresses the problems of putting off or delaying something that requires immediate attention and analyzes similar existing solutions on the market. The development of the application focuses most on user-friendliness, intuitive control and responsiveness. The problems of maintaining users active and motivated are solved by using gamification and socialization elements. The application is implemented through modern web technologies. The end of the thesis mentions a testing process and the future of the application.
Analysis and development of responsive website interface

The thesis deals with the analysis and development of responsive interface of online stores' websites. The work is divided into several chapters, which can be divided generally into two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the first theoretical part there are different perspectives and analyzes, that need to be defined for web development and possibilities of progression of the web sites along with testing the correctness of individual steps and procedures, explained. The practical part consists in the implementation of the proposals and creating designs typical for company based on informations gathered from the analysis of the accessibility and usabiity of original pages and pages of competition. Part of crafting proposals and graphics is user testing, processing comments and found bugs. Thanks to these aquired knowledge there is in the final part designed and implemented new look along with a basis for possible further development and expansion opportunities in the future.
Responsive design and its application during the process of web design

The goal of this diploma thesis is to conduct analysis of process of web design and to compare two cases, where responsive design was used and where responsive design was not used. In theoretical part, there are explained basic terms and procedures connected with responsive and non-responsive design. In analytical part, the procedures of responsive design are applied to one particular example. Afterwards, two approaches of creating websites and the outputs of it are compared. In the end of the thesis the author compares basic and responsive web approach from different points of view.
Graphic design of mobile and PC web applications

The objective of bachelor's thesis is to find out, how to make graphic design of mobile applications. Thesis has two parts. At the beginning is described growth of mobile application market and terms about mobile devices. After this thesis describes, what is mobile application, identify difference between native applications and mobile web sites. Last section of teoretical part is about approaches how to design mobile applications. The second part is practical. There are chosen three applications, which will be tested, if their graphic design was created well. In case graphic design is not created well, there will be made solution, which removes lacks in graphic design of application. There will be also evaluated hypothesis, if graphic designers are making user friendly applications.
Modern Java frameworks for front-end of web applications

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected frameworks for the development of modern web applications on the Java platform focusing on the front-end. The work is complemented by well-chosen source code examples that help the reader to create one's own view of the frameworks and it can also server as a tutorial. Introductory section focuses on the trends of modern web applications, especially on the front-end. It affects themes such as support for mobile devices, AJAX or responsive design of user interface. There are also introduced the latest technology on the front-end including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery library and dynamic language LESS whose main objective is the simplification, shortening and making cascading style sheets more dynamic. The output of this section: General LESS template is freely available and it can be applied to emerging projects. For the analysis there has been created static registration form on which there are applied frameworks Apache Wicket and Spring MVC with template engine Freemarker. In terms of analysis were chosen following points: the basic structure of the project, the application of static templates, external JavaScript / jQuery library, internalization, application of the form, submitting the form and validation of the input fields. The points were discussed in detail, especially in terms of implementation of both analysed frameworks. The outputs of the analysis are freely available structures of the projects and both of the resulting applications.
Use of responsive design in the design application

The thesis compares the most frequently used approaches to presenting web content on mobile devices in order to enable a more effective decision-making process concerning content presentation approaches. This thesis in the first part focuses on the responsive design origin and its pillars. Furthermore, the work deals with a general assessment of the appropriateness of using responsive design and identification of differences in the maintaining of a classical web page, the page with the mobile version and with the responsive website. The next part is devoted to the practical demonstration of the implementation of responsive design for a new responsive site. The work contains a description of the workflow and results of testing.
Analysis of websites' responsive design

The thesis is about current technologies and optimalization used in developing responsive websites. It summarizes current state and gives small prediction where the future of responsive design is going. This is analysed on 4 news websites ihned.cz, novinky.cz, blesk.cz, extra.cz which are analysed from point of view of areas, which have major influence on user's surfing experience. Websites are compared to each other using criteria, which correspond to each of those areas. Thesis also proposes a solution to each of the bigger mistakes, which each website makes. Those mistakes are in the coclusion put in context of other websites and used to reach a general recommendation, which solutions correct them and are therefore suitable to use in development of any responsive websites in the future.
