Analysis of human resources activities in public administration

The thesis is devoted to theoretical problems of public administration in the Czech Republic, its institutions, instruments, exercised personnel activities and their peculiarities in the public administration, including defining the status of civil clerk. Further attention is paid to the management of organizational behavior in administrative organizations. In practical terms, the emphasis is primarily on how the ongoing activities of selected personnel, primarily evaluation, selected at public authorities (Generální finanční ředitelství and Úřad městského obvodu Ostrava-Jih) and what style of management executives of these agencies most frequently.
The analysis of personal activities provided in the selected SME

The work is dedicated to personal activities provided in the SME. The main aim of this thesis is to conduct the description and analysis the effectiveness of human resource management in the selected SME, the assessment of personnel activities and recommendations creation for improving personnel policies in the company. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The first part is dealing with basic concepts related to personnel activities in the company. In the second part of the thesis author explored the personal activities in a selected company.

This thesis Analysis of the Employee Recruitment and Selection process is focused on the issue of employee recruitment and selection in a particular company. The aim of this work is to analyse the current process of employee recruitment and selection and find possible effectiveness. The first part is devoted to a theoretical approach to the actual topic of employee recruitment and selection, description of the process itself and the methods that are most often used in the process of employee recruitment and selection in practice. As the most of the positions are represented by business and student positions, the practical part is focused precisely on the analysis of the process of employee recruitment and selection just for these positions. On the basis of the theoretical part and analysis of the current state of the process of employee recruitment and selection of company and there is made an evaluation and specified proposals for optimization.
Analysis of personnel activities in the small company SEZ-CZ s.r.o.

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to analyze personnel activities in the small company SEZ-CZ s.r.o., then to evaluate these activities and to suggest any applicable optimization, that can improve effectiveness of personnel activities in this small company. The theoretical part focuses on the clarification of concepts related to the topic. It is especially characteristic of small company, personnel work in the company and defines individual personnel actions. The practical part focuses on the analysis of personnel activities, their description according to sources from the company. Subsequent evaluation and suggestions to improve this work. All information used in the practical part, based on the identified theoretical concepts and data provided by the company.
The Analysis of Care about Employees and the Impact of the Act No. 218/2002 Coll. on the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This thesis deals with the analysis of care about employees and the impact of the Service Act on the Ministry of Industry and Trade employees. Thanks to a performed analysis of care about employees, which is part of the Human Resources, there were gathered theoretical data which are then compared in a practical part with a current state of employee care at the Ministry. There are offered impulses through proposals and suggestions, which might possibly lead to a more effective way of work and also to a higher level of satisfaction of employees. Moreover, the work deals with forthcoming Act No. 218/2002 Coll., which adjusts position of clerks in government service. The Act is then confronted with a current state of personal politics at the Ministry and there are consequently delivered possible impacts of the Act on personal activities. In the conclusion, the work is evaluated and there is also assessed the significance of care about employees.
Zhodnocení personálních činností ve vybrané firmě

Popis personálních činností je hlavní náplní této práce a následné převedení do praxe. V dnešní době je stále častěji brán ohled na spokojenost pracovníků v dané firmě. Vedení společností si uvědomuje, že je to základ pro dobré jméno společnosti a pro bezproblémový chod daného podniku. Proto je kladen velký důraz na personální útvar a jeho činnosti. Pro dobré jméno společnosti je nutné, aby od prvního kontaktu s potenciálním pracovníkem, byl tento člověk pro firmu nadšen. Tento první krok má za úkol právě personální oddělení.
Offshoring in Human Resources

This thesis is focused on offshoring in human resources. Its aim is to provide, based on own experience, a comprehensive overview of how offshoring might look like in reality, what moving business activities abroad involves and what are its advantages and pitfalls. The first chapter is devoted to an introduction to offshoring, to a definition and to an explanation of the difference between the terms offshoring and outsourcing. The following chapter focuses on a description of the company whose Human Resources department is currently struggling with offshoring. The third chapter describes transfer of different business activities of above mentioned company to its shared service centre in South America. The final chapter is devoted to appraisal of offshoring in the company as well as to my own proposals for changes in the given process so as the company is able to achieve the main purpose of offshoring.
Education and Development of Employees

The thesis deals with the education and development of employees in the company providing logistics services. The company wished to remain anonymous, and therefore for the purposes of the thesis entitled NOVACS. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical section contains basic definitions of concepts, relationships and connections related to the issue of education and staff development. The methodology used in the theoretical part includes an analysis of available literature and supplementary documents. Practical content is an analysis of staff education and development in the department of informational technologies of the company NOVACS. The practical facts are compared with findings in the theoretical part. The system of education and staff development at NOVACS is examined and assessed from the perspective of senior manager of IT department, whose job performance in the field of education and staff training and development is analyzed too. The result of the thesis are identified strengths and weaknesses of the education and development of employees in NOVACS, and the related advices and recommendations to improve the system by the author of the thesis.
Evaluation of Personnel Activities in a chosen Company

In my graduation thesis I was interested in personnel activities in company Servant, a. s. This company offers logistic services. First I described this firm, then I analysed each personnel activity and I found some problems and made a suggestions for better situation in firm. During my graduation thesis I gathered information from expert literature, from firm's documents and from information which I extracted from personal interview with firm's employee. I think that this company has some problems in personnel activities but in my opinion it works positively.

Metodologická část práce uvádí principy a postupy základních personálních činností, jimiž se běžný personální útvar zabývá; praktická část práce hodnotí tyto činnosti již v konkrétních podmínkách podniku Textilex, s r. o. a navrhuje změny, jež by vedly ke zlepšení personální práce v podniku.
