Universal Measurement Station
Šantavý, Marek ; Bartoš, Pavel (referee) ; Šimek, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create data acquisition application. The software module is designed for the industrial panel PC. Power Panel 520 from Bernecker + Reiner and the data acquisition board NI USB-6215 from National Instruments represent the fundamental hardware components for this project. Data acquisition and visualization tasks are controlled by a standalone application made in LabVIEW 2011. OPC, industrial standard in communication, is responsible for mutual interconnection between control (PLC) and data acquisition part. Network shared variables and Apple iPad 2 allow remote surveillance for operator. Finally, the creation of user-friendly interface and integration of technologies from different vendors, are main goals of this project.
Communication OPC servers with system MES (COMES)
Hromek, Jiří ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The presenting master`s thesis is concerned with leveraging the CCI system COMES firm COMPAS as OPC client. It was described data transfer architecture based OPC server OPC Client with OPC specifications and standards. Further, it was done the analysis of OPC servers from different manufacturers. The output of the thesis is conception and testing methodology of communication CCI module mode OPC client and OPC servers from different manufacturers.
Control and visualization of techlologic process via IPC
Buchta, Luděk ; Libor, Matys (referee) ; Dvořáček, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to acquaint with techniques and technologies used in the control and visualization of technologic processes. The industrial PC, PLC and Automation Panels from the company B&R was used on control of the technologic process in laboratory E541. Designed and implemented control algorithm contains three discrete controllers. The standard OPC is used for communication. Visualization for control workplace is created in the Program Control Web. Visualizations for operator workstations are created in the program Automation Studio. These visualizations are used to transfer information from the technological process.
Commands for 2D plotter
Maštera, Martin ; Foukal, Roman (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This work deals with parameterized 2D plotter, which function is to draw arbitrary shapes, which are loaded from a PostScript file generated from AutoCAD. From that file are gained data, which are converted into shapes parameters. Communication between PC and PLC is provided via an OPC server from Rockwell Automation. In RSLogic 5000 application, which is used to program PLC from Rockwell Automation, is created program to draw individual shapes on paper.
Internet based control of laboratory models
Dobrovolný, Petr ; Smrčka, František (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
This award solves design of two models that are designed to teach on PLC and in the future on the Control Web. Both models should be used in LabLink system, which allows you to remotely working on laboratory tasks. The first software model simulates the movement of trains on rail in relation on control from the PLC. The second model is a physical model of drill. In both models are solid managing and type of construction, which allows operation without physical intervention.
Digital commissioning of a robotic production system for palletizing
Zajíček, Matouš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of a robotic palletizing cell. The theoretical part of the work describes the motivations for the use of automatic palletizing and common elements of palletizing cells using an industrial robot as well as the principle, tools, and benefits of virtual commissioning. The practical part of the work describes the process of creating elements of the cell in Robotstudio software and creating PLC control logic using TwinCAT3 software
OPC UA client in Python
Zmrzlý, Jan ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
OPC UA (Unified Architecture) is a modern industry communication standard. This is an expected evolution following the successful OPC Classic protocol. Nowadays, the majority of devices with these technologies are able to communicate with the server model server – client. The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to summarize the knowledge about the OPC UA industry standard and the creation of an OPC UA client in the Python programming language. The client's functionality is verified on communication with the B&R PLC.
Software Support for PLC Automation Systems
Kříž, Karel ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This thesis mainly deals with the study of communication protocols between process control systems of company Siemens and their superstructural systems (SCADA/HMI) the Ethernet interface. This is a management systems, which are mainly used by Aucon s.r.o. in practice. It also deals with OPC servers, and their use with client applications. Emphasis is placed on the theoretical analysis of certain types of inter-processcommunication in Windows. From the simple one to the model COM, which is the basis of the OPC technology. Practical part realize implementation of a simple programming interface, providing communications with equipment Siemens Simatic S7. This is realized by C++ with using WinSock2 a IPHlpApi libraries. This interface can be used at programming client application.
Data processing from the online diagnostic system
Cirhanová, Iva ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with data processing from an online diagnostic system. The theoretical part of the work is divided into three chapters, the first deals with technical diagnostics as such, there are basic terminology and concepts associated with technical diagnostics, such as diagnostic methods, tools, models and signals. The second part is focused on diagnostic systems and their division. This chapter also provides some examples of online diagnostic monitoring systems from three different companies. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the description of the possibilities of data collection from diagnostic systems, ie. description of communication buses and protocols. The practical part of this work focuses on creating an application for data collection and visualization.
