The proposal for the optimisation of control activities for a selected process
Kocmánek, Ladislav ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the optimalization of control activities in the selected powder coating process. In today´s companies face increasing customer demands that demand high quality and speed of production. At Hitachi Energy is the powder coating process one of the most important processes, after which is introduced the final inspection of all painted parts. Due to situation on the labor market, the company cannot longer recruit new employees, but it must reduce the time and costs associated with powder coating inspection. The thesis focuses on the entire process of powder coating, identifies the most common poor quality in the process and determines the root causes of this poor quality. Based on these causes, solutions were designed and implemented with the aim of optimizing the control activity and reducing the costs of the poor quality of the powder coating process.
Implementation of selected parts of the ČSN EN ISO/IEC standard 17025:2018 in the calibration laboratory
Krejčí, Lukáš ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
In this diploma thesis comparison of the current state against the requirements of the standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2018 is made at first. The comparison is followed by proposals for the creation of the missing documents which will become part of the controlled documentation of the selected calibration laboratory in the future and will be used to obtain accreditation. These documents are focused specifically on process management of the calibration laboratory and the procedure for determining uncertainty of measurement in calibration. Proposals are created in a way to match the specifications of standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2018. In the conclusion chapter of this thesis there are recommendations for calibration laboratory which should be considered before applying for accreditation.
Standards for measuring plane angle and shape deviations on CMM
Lipták, Matúš ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis deals with the issue of selecting suitable standards for measurement of plane angle and shape deviations on coordinate measuring machines. As for the shape deviations, the characteristics of straightness and roundness have been processed in this thesis. The selected standards are then used to calibrate chosen CMMs, including the optical CMM SOL 311 and the articulated arm AACMM Hexagon Absolute Arm 83 Compact. The thesis also includes general theoretical knowledge in the field of metrology and the current state of measurement using CMMs. The experimental part is focused on carrying out the measurements during CMM calibration, followed by the identification and quantification of individual uncertainty components. Finally, the obtained results of the measured geometrical characteristics on individual CMMs are evaluated and compared with each other.
Accuracy of engineering products in manufacturing
Škoda, Zdeněk ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the precision of engineering products in high-volume custom manufacturing. Engineering metrology has undergone significant innovations in recent decades to unify the evaluation approaches of quality and accuracy of engineering products. The main contribution of the thesis is a proposal for the implementation of new procedures in the quality control process in the company. To justify the introduction of the new philosophies into the existing processes used in the collaborating company, the thesis includes experiments in which the differences between the old and new approaches are compared. Based on the evaluation of the experiments, measures suitable for implementation are recommended.
Evaluation of Surface Texture Profile Parameters and Verifying of Conformity with the Specification in the Drawing
Kupský, David ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Sámelová, Vendula (advisor)
The first part of the thesis is devoted to the development of the current state of knowledge in the field of surface texture assessment using the profile method. The next part is the analysis of the problem and the proposal of a solution for the evaluation of surface texture with the consideration of measurement uncertainties in accordance with the ISO GPS system. Proposal of measurement and evaluation of the given sample was carried out for the demonstration. The measurement was started using a contact profilometer and then the profile parameters were calculated in the TalyProfile Lite software. Three different specifications were chosen for the calculated geometric parameters to outline all the possibilities that can arise when determining compliance with the specification. The proposal with consideration of uncertainties was compared with the evaluation method according to ČSN EN 4288 and from that were deducated conclusions and recommendations.
Creation of a standard for calibration of a portable measuring arm
Murín, Milan ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This final thesis is dealing with stating uncertainty of optical measuring device Hexagon Absolute Arm Compact, which is located at Faculty of mechanical engineering in Brno. Overview of poratble coordinate measuring machines and analyzed present status of portable coordinate measuring machines is in summation. This part also includes basic metrology concepts and methodology of determination of uncertainty of measuring instrument. Content of following parts of thesis is detailed description of Hexagon Absolute Arm Compact machine and creation of etalon, which was used to determine the uncertainity of measurment. Last part of this thesis includes summary of achieved results and recommendations for practice.
Optical measuring instrument SOL 311
Kellerová, Michaela ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The main benefit of this bachelor thesis is the assessment of conformity with the specification in accordance with the ISO GPS system. In the theoretical part, coordinate measuring machines were discussed with emphasis on multisensor measuring machines. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of measured values of components on the CMM SOL 311 according to the standard ČSN EN ISO 14253-1: 2018.
3D Scanning System Proposal for Plastic Parts
Palátová, Zuzana ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Sámelová, Vendula (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on monitoring and description of the current state of plastic injection molding production and analysis of methods for measuring these parts. Measurement methods are described and at the same time the measurement issues associated with individual types of meters for specific plastic parts are presented. Based on the analysis of measuring systems, a design of the measuring device in the form of a 3D optical scan is subsequently created, which is optimal for the selected plastic components. When choosing a 3D optical scanner, a demand is created that takes into account the necessary technical parameters required by the corporate environment. A selected proposal is presented at the end of my work.
Quality assurance of horizontal road marking equipment
Janáč, Ondřej ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the requirements for the quality of equipment for horizontal road marking, which is manufactured and assembled by the manufacturer. Within the philosophy of continuous improvement, this work describes a project leading to a reduction of the number of parts, that do not fulfill their function after assembly. The main benefit of the work is a proposal to modify the production documentation and change of the measuring equipment used in its inspection. All taken measures have reduced the number of defective parts. It also provides an overview and general procedure of the selection, analysis, implementation of another measures and the use of other opportunities to improve the quality management system of horizontal road markings in the company in accordance with ISO 9001.
Quality assurance of mechanical shaft seal assemblies
Příkaský, Jakub ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of a selected sealing shaft assembly. On this assembly, a nonconformity analysis was performed and corrective measures were proposed, applied and verified in a subsequent PDCA cycle. Furthermore, realistic improvements have been proposed that can have a significant positive impact on the overall quality of this shaft seal assembly in the future. The main contribution of this thesis is to reduce the number of non-conformances and on top of that to deepen the management of modern quality methods in the collaborating organization.
