Gifted students in basic school

The central theme of this work is the issue of gifted and exceptionally gifted pupils and their education in primary schools. The theoretical part of the work deals with terminology, models of giftedness, characteristic manifestations of gifted students, cognitive and non-intellectual features and a specific group of gifted children, which consists mainly of students with double exceptionality and underperformance. It also analyzes the educational and educational needs of the gifted, provides an overview of legislative documents related to it, and presents approaches recommended by experts that can be effectively applied to gifted students in compulsory school education. The aim of the research part is to analyze the experiences of pedagogues - educational advisors - with gifted pupils at primary schools in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou region, through self-constructed questionnaires, at the same time to analyze their attitudes, approaches and orientation in the issue, as well as how nomination and identification of these pupils takes place and how they are supported in their education. Ways of Identifying Linguistically Talented Pupils by Primary School Teachers

The title of this bachelor thesis is "Ways of Identifying Linguistically Talented Pupils by Primary School Teachers". It deals with the methods of identification of linguistically talented pupils by primary school teachers. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and describes talent and its definitions, characteristics of a talented individual and criteria of talent, types and kinds of talented individuals and their classification. It also describes displays talented pupils and their identification in a school environment, sampling of talented individuals and their education. Attention is equally dedicated to linguistic talent and talent for foreign languages itself. Practical part targets the linguistically talented pupils at primary schools and their teachers. The thesis deals especially with the talent for foreign languages. The research is concerned with the main question: How do the teachers at primary schools identify linguistically talented pupils? Furthermore, there are two sub-questions to be answered. First research sub-question relates to the characteristics of talented pupils through the eyes of their educators. A pupil with extraordinary talent in primary school

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of exceptionally gifted pupils in the first stage of primary school. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Its theoretical part is focused on illuminating the basic concepts associated with the topic of talent. Its aim is to introduce the basic types of talent and their possible combinations together, to characterize gifted and exceptionally gifted students, to state possible ways of their identification and to present principles and possibilities of work in their education, together with support in leisure activities. It also provides an overview of legislation that deals with the upbringing and education of the gifted. In the practical part, a survey was conducted with the help of interviews, together with an analysis of documents and subsequently case studies were prepared focusing on the needs of individual exceptionally gifted students, their parents and teachers in the entire educational process.
Gifted child in today's pre-school nursery

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of identifying gifted children within preschool education in kindergartens. The objective of the work is to find out whether teachers in kindergarten are able to identify gifted children and then their talents in a targeted manner further develop. It also focuses on how preschool educators perceive such a child, whether they know and possibly use targeted methods and practises for working with a gifted child. It maps whether teachers and parents are sufficiently informed about further possibilities of cooperation with professional institutions focused on development of gifted children. The theoretical part comprises of a basic theoretical background including a definition of the term talent and performance and education of a gifted child. In the practical part, a qualitative comparison and semi-structured interviews are used for the research survey. The survey is divided into two stages. First, kindergarten teachers are interviewed, then parents of gifted children. The results of both stages are summarized and compared. Answers to research questions are summarized in a conclusion.

The thesis aims to illustrate the concept of giftedness by looking at the characteristic of a gifted child, the relationship of the family and siblings of a gifted child, and the legislation in relation to the education of gifted children. The goal of the practical part is to monitor the experiences and attitudes of the parents in regard to the issue of upbringing and education of gifted and outstandingly gifted children in the family home environment, as well as in school facilities. The subsequent findings will be compared in relation to the actual situation.
Non-standard children in preschool and school education

The B.A. Thesis focuses on integration and education of children with autism spectrum disorder and gifted children to ordinary school system. Theoretic part of this thesis is about inclusion in the Czech Republic and compares it to inclusive education in Finland and Estonia. Futhermore defines concepts of children with autism spectrum disorder and gifted children. There is the comparison of advantages and disadvantages of pupil´s integration to ordinary pre-school institution, describes pupil´s preparation before the beginning of attendance, goes after reasons of prevention of aggresive behaviour. This thesis monitors the education progress of gifted children at ordinary school. Practical part consists of direct observation of autism boy for one year and exceptionally gifted boy during six years. At the boy with autism spectrum disorder is noticable positive progress at the relationships to the group, the communication in difficult situations as well. His sensitivity to the rules and system are really strong. If they are broken, he reacts in negative way. At the exceptionally gifted boy the results of his school work depends on his motivation and teacher´s attitude and character.

The study focuses on the problem of the gifted children at primary school. The study is composed of two parts - the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part of the study focuses on explaining basic terminology related to the talent, characterize the gifted pupil, shows the typology of gifted children and possibilities of identification the talent. The first part also presents models of talent and the basic forms of talent. It introduces possibilities and rules of working with talented children in the younger school age and provides basic information about current legislation connected to the education of talented children. The first part of the study also focuses on the support of talented children not only during their education. The practical part of the study is related to the questionnaire survey about educational conditions of gifted pupils on primary schools.

The thesis deals with the issue of meeting needs in free time. The aim of this work was to map whether the needs of spending free time in the family are met and to describe the factors that influence and shape the needs of an individual's life. The practical part describes whether due to the pandemic of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 illness covid-19 there were fundamental changes in the fulfillment of needs in free time and whether the way of spending free time in the pandemic time still meets the needs of individual family members.

The diploma thesis deals with the Nicola tesla Center learning system that develops exceptionally gifted children. The aim od the thesis is to find out to what extent the NTC learning system stimulates the development of a gifted pupil already in preschool age and the possibilities of supporting and exceptionally gifted pupil in primary education. The theoretical part of třhe work describes intelligence, talent and the NTC system itself. The empirical part consists of two stages. The first stage describes the process of education in kindergarten and work with the NTC learning system and identifies in the process of developing talents in children using the system. The methodology of the NTC learning system is used on the kindergarten in the creation of the school educational program and is practically used with the help of individual activities. NTC learning system activities are included in the daily program. The second stage describes how preschool education took place in the monitored children with focus on manifestations of giftedness, whether there were adjustments to preschool education with regard to giftedness.
