Teoretická část definuje samotný pojem nadání, stručnou charakteristiku nadaného dítěte, vztah rodiny a sourozenců nadaného dítěte a legislativu ve vztahu ke vzdělávání nadaných děti. Cílem praktické části práce je mapování zkušenosti a postojů rodičů s problematikou výchovy a vzdělávání nadaných a mimořádně nadaných děti v rodině a ve školských zařízeních a následně tento získaný poznatek porovnat se současným stavem. The thesis aims to illustrate the concept of giftedness by looking at the characteristic of a gifted child, the relationship of the family and siblings of a gifted child, and the legislation in relation to the education of gifted children. The goal of the practical part is to monitor the experiences and attitudes of the parents in regard to the issue of upbringing and education of gifted and outstandingly gifted children in the family home environment, as well as in school facilities. The subsequent findings will be compared in relation to the actual situation.
