Intercompany mentoring

The diploma thesis is dedicated to the intercompany mentoring issue, its thorough description and specific practical application in the company. The objectives are to define the intercompany mentoring as a new form of corporate learning, to analyze it in detail and to assess its benefits to the certain company. Its strengths / weaknesses and the possible opportunities and threats are found in the theoretical part via SWOT analysis. The assessment of intercompany mentoring is based on the interviews with mentors, mentees and last but not least with mentees' superiors. These semi-structured interviews are focused on finding of the strengths / weaknesses and the opportunities or threats. It means that the SWOT analysis is used also in the practical part of the thesis. The output of the thesis is the final resume and my personal improvement proposals. The results of the thesis can help those companies that are looking for new ways to develop their employees or which are hesitating to participate in the intercompany mentoring. Benefits of resilience and social support in mentoring relations with school children

This diploma thesis is concerned with medium-term benefits of peer mentorng programs from the point of resilience and social support to the care recipients- children and adolescents from risk environment or with risk factors influenced. Data of this study comes from International peer mentoring survey Big Brothers Big Sisters- Pět P in Czech republic. The study is important for its in-depth and longitudinal (1 year) survey of 7 mentoring couples. Thesis is secondary analysis of mentioned study and is interessed in concepts of resilience and social support in context of mentoring community intervences. Mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary schools

The thesis is focused on the process of mentoring and its application in the process of professional adaptation of teachers in secondary schools. The aim of the work is based on a literature review of available literature and the results of the research to describe and analyze the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of secondary school teachers. In the theoretical part are explained the basic concepts related to the topic, are described the process of adaptation of teachers, characteristic of mentoring, role of mentor, mentoring relationship, further characteristic of mentor, forms, strategies, risks and benefits of mentoring. In the empirical part are described the implementation and results of quantitative research by the semistructured interview with the directors of the secondary schools, which focused on the way, how the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary schools works and what specific ways of support are in the process of mentoring in a period of professional adaptation of teachers in the secondary school applied. The results of the research are useful for recommendations for the creator of the educational system. Title: Volunteer's Assumptions for Work with Youth At Risk at Project Lata. Abstract: The thesis is focused on one-to-one peer volunteering in programs for children, youth and young adults at risk, with a focus on Project Lata. It is dedicated especially to aspects which may influence the client-volunteer relationship, with a particular focus on helping volunteers and discovering the conditions of volunteers working with target groups. The research part examines the volunteers' characteristics, personality attributes, abilities, skills and experience beyond the current entry criteria, to identify qualities which facilitate or impede the creation of a functioning relationship with the client in Project Lata.
