Quality of Service in Cellular Networks

This thesis deals with the quality of service (QoS) mechanism in Evolved Packet System (EPS). The basic architecture and characteristics of the EPS are introduced. The concept of QoS is defined. Furthermore, QoS related entities, their functions and corresponding procedures are described. The methodology for measuring and evaluating of end-to-end QoS as seen from a user’s point of view is designed. This methodology is used to measure QoS of experimental cellular network at UTKO FEEC BUT. Finally, configuration change for optimizing the QoS support of experimental cellular network is designed.

In my thesis I go about principles and methods of security systems, then I go about analysis of avalaible types of security systems (EPS, EZS and CCTV). I have written about their possibile use in design security building. I have described levels of project documentation and its different parts including process service of production a project documentation for security system. I used all knowledges in the end of my thesis, when I designed and integrated security system for a special building.

Technology for comprehensive support of multimedia services in heterogeneous networks

The theses explains the Evolution Packet System (EPS) and subsystem IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). It also informs how these systems cooperate and through which interfaces the main data and signals between these two technologies are transfered. The thesis includes practical section, in which installation and configuration of sections of the IMS system including its "core", and application and medial server. For verification of the functionality of the system, two dissimilar clients are installed, and emulator WAN is applied for simulation of Internet. The product of the theses is the design of the laboratory exercise drafted in such a way that it can be solved by students less knowledgeable of the issues.

The impact of executing new thermal insulation on an administrative building in Blansko on the expenses associated with its operation

The topic of the diploma thesis „ The impact of executing new thermal insulation on an administrative building in Blansko on the expenses associated with its operation“ is a draft and appraisal of four variants of thermal insulation of the building (EPS, EPS G, Mineral wool, Phenolic foam). It deals with an actual building situated in Blansko. All the variants are projected according to the same technical specifications (thermal transmittance) and their thermal parameters, technical parameters and the rate of return have been assessed. The assessed building (The A building) is at rectangular shape. It has six above - ground floors and a basement, it contains mainly administration sites. The construction system is concrete frame, which has curtain wall made of perforated blocks with thickness 250 mm. The building has got reinforced concrete floors, the roofing is made of double-skin roof construction. The supply for heating is a separate gas boiler room.

Analysis of control procedures in EPS networks

The aim of this thesis is acquaintance with the EPS system of LTE and IMS subsystem. The thesis is aimed on analysis of the control procedures related to operations between the terminal and the packet core network of the fourth generation such as logging into the system, user authentication, change the viewing area, handover and disconnection from the network.

Multifunctional family house

The goal of this bachelor project is to design a multifunctional family house with a service of a lawyer´s office. The house is designed as a brick house made of clay blocks Porotherm profi. Horizontal bearing structures are made up of reinforced concrete slabs. Footings are designed as unreinforced. The building has a rugged floor plan with 2nd floor in a residential part. The whole object is completed by a flat roof with parapet. A garage with parking place for two cars states cars and small garden equipment is also part of family housing. Law firm Lawyer´s office has its own independent entrance next to the entrance to the house.

Design and evaluation of vehicle steering controller

V této práci je prezentován a popsán FlexRay komunikační protokol se sběrnicí. Je představeno několik matematických modelů vozidel pro simulaci a pro vývoj řídících systémů. Dále je popsána tvorba signálové brány pro testovací vozidlo. Software pro úpravu signálu je implementován a odzkoušen v testovacím vozidle. Matematick0 modely byli parametrizovány aby odpovídali skutečnému vozidlu. Vyvinuté řídící systémy pro ovládání vozidla skrze losí test byli implementovány do automobilu a jejich vlastnosti byli otestovány. Závěrem jsou prezentovány výsledky testů jednotlivých řídících systémů.

Multifunctional Building

The subject of the diploma thesis is the preparation of project documentation for a building permit for a multi-purpose building in Havlíčková Brod. The multipurpose building is designed as a four-story basement building. There is a cafe on the first floor. In the other above-ground floors, there are administrative spaces. In the underground floor there is a collective garage with 30 parking spaces (of which two are reserved for the disabled), a boiler room and an engine room. The vertical structural system is designed as a skeleton with infill masonry. The horizontal supporting structures consist of reinforced concrete locally supported ceiling slabs. The roofing is designed as a single-layer flat green roof.

Educational Nanosatellite in PocketQube Format

Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce byla teoretická analýza současných trendů ve vývoji nanosatelitů, konkrétně se zaměřením na formát PocketQube a jeho aktuální implementaci. V jednotlivých teoretických kapitolách se práce zabývá možnostmi a výhodami využití PocketQube jako výukového modelu pro vzdělávací a vývojové oblasti. Zabývá se také možnostmi 3D tisku nosné konstrukce družice a rozebírám jednotlivé komponenty, jako je palubní počítač, komunikační systém založený na technologii LoRa, napájecí systém a přehled subsystémů. V praktické části byl vyvinut rám družice, jednotlivé části struktury elektroniky PocketQube a implementace základní funkce komunikace a provozu pro vzdělávací model PocketQube.
