Performance-enhancing substances in sport and their effects on the human body - the preparation and the evaluation of new didactic materials

The diploma thesis is foollow up on nutritional supplements in sport, both allowed and forbidden, therefore doping. It focuses on teaching at secondary (hight) schools and incorporating the issue of sports supplements into lessons. The theoretical part includes an analysis of the RVP for grammar schools and sports grammar schools, a literature search on the topic of support substances i sport and the theory of didactic research. The practical part contains an evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which examines pupils' knowledge about nutritional supplements focused on sport, and evaluation of the evaluation questionnaire, which is served as a feedback reflection in verifying didactic materials. Furthermore, in the practical part there is created technical text for teachers, presentations with didactic notes, worksheet including author's solution and didactic game verifying knowledge after the subject's interpretation.

Respiration as an interdisciplinary topic in science education

This diploma thesis is focused on topics of and respiratory chain and their processing as educational animations for secondary schools. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, supporting terms are defined (visualisations, interdisciplinary relations, animations). Next, themes are included in educational field and thematic unit in RVP G. Two analyses of the topic of respiratory chain are mentioned and evaluated in this part. Firstly, there is an analysis focused on the most used chemical and biological textbooks. The second one is focused on available online animations. For research purpose of the diploma thesis quantitative method was used - a questionnaire survey. Results of this survey are listed in the practical part. Practical part presents educational materials specified for support of education topics of respiration and respiratory chain. Stress on illustrative nature and interdisciplinarity is laid in these materials. The principal materials are educational animations which were made in program Adobe Flash Professional CS6. Study text was also written to these animations. Created educational animations give a complex view on respiratory process. Media education as a part of foreign language educationat czech schools

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of media education as a part of foreign language education at Czech schools. The thesis is divided into three major part - the theoretical background with analysis of national curriculum and school curricula, the practical part - qualitative research of teacher's opinions and quantitative research of student's opinions on media education. The third part offers description of activities and handouts that can be used in English classes to improve the level of media literacy. It proved that the connection of media education and foreign language classes is not indicated in the Frame Educational Programme, however it gives the possibility to school to integrate the topic into any subject. Based on the analysis of the school educational programmes of selected school it was found out that schools do integrate media education into many subjects including foreign languages. Most of the foreign language teachers claimed that they integrate media education into their classes. However, they are limited by certain barriers - primary school teachers especially by low language knowledge. Education of pupils with hearing and mental disabilities in the 1st degree of primary school for the hearing impaired

The diploma thesis entitled "Education of Pupils with parallel hearing and mental disabilities in the 1st grade of Primary School for the hearing impaired " analyzes the accessibility of teaching aids for students frequenting Grades 1-6 of elementary schools for students with hearing problems. With respect to the subject treated, one part of the thesis focuses on the instruction methods used for the teaching and education of such children and on the collaboration of the teacher with the hearing-impaired educator or the educator's assistant. Also discussed are the types of communication systems most frequently used by the teachers during their work. The second part of the thesis provides an overview of elementary schools in the Czech Republic, in which students with hearing impairments and parallel mental retardation receive education. The objective of this diploma thesis is to point out the shortage of teaching aids for students with this form of health impairment, who require a variety of educational strategies, given their specific educational needs. Analysis of teaching materials in the field of music education for children aged 3-6 and their use in practice

Analysis of teaching materials in the field of music education for children 3 to 6 years and their use in practice The theoretical part of the paper summarizes the current knowledge about the concept of music education in kindergarten, describes the musical ability and position of musical activities in the Framework curriculum for pre-school education. Furthermore, this work characterized the components of music education, such as singing, instrumental music and movement and listening activities. The practical part consists of two parts. The first section contains the mapping of the current situation of teaching materials for preschool children. Research method was a questionnaire survey, which was determined by width and source of musical materials that teachers use in practice with preschool children. The second part is methodical and includes songbook in which the notation of specific songs that appear when working in nursery schools. Title: Hemps and its utilization at elementary schools and grammar schools Abstract: The thesis puts together a teaching aid concerning hemps. It is based on in-depth study of related literature, content analysis of schoolbooks and Framework Education Programmes for Basic Education and Higher Education, and a questionnaire survey aimed at teachers. The teaching aid is to be used mainly at grammar schools, and it includes a Power Point presentation, a suggestion for teamwork focusing on the use of scientific texts, a worksheet and a test. In addition, there are two more extension activities, and a list of recommended information sources for teachers. .
