Pre-school education and tendence of its development

The thesis deals with the development of pre-school education in the Czech Republic with a focus on the time period of school years 2005/2006 - 2015/2016. This period was chosen because the author's intention was to assess a longer period of time based on data in the CSI Annual Reports. The annual report for the last school year was available at the time of writing. The aim is to identify and evaluate tendencies in pre-school education within a given time frame. The text is divided into several parts, dealing with pre-school education in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part outlines the development of pre-school institutions and the external conditions of pre-school education. It describes the status of individual segments that are part of pre-school education. It brings the analysis of curriculum documents, mentions the current situation in the training of pre-school teachers and gives a tendency in this area. Another area is devoted to view of pre-school education in some European countries. Utilization of ICT in inspection work of CSI regional inspectorates' employees

The aim of thesis is to map information and communication technologies used in regional inspectorates of the Czech School Inspectorate and to find out, whether information and communication technologies have changed the activities of regional inspectorates staff to any extent during a certain period of time. The theoretical section summarizes theoretical findings concerning fundamental terms in the field of information and communication technologies. Other part is dedicated to the characteristics, activities and organizational structure of the Czech School Inspectorate as well as to the utilization of ICT technologies by inspectorates staff before 2006 and after this period of time. The research section presents an analysis of the research outcomes based on a questionnaire survey conducted among those inspectors and auditors who have been working for the CSI since 2006 until present. The survey is complemented by a structured interview with regional inspectorate directors. The final section summarizes the research outcomes and formulates suggestions for quality improvements in utilization of information and communication technologies in inspection work in the form of recommendations for management of the inspectorates. Information Systems at Czech School Inspection and Posibilities of their Use

The aim of my thesis is to analyze the information system of the Czech School Inspection, identification of potential gaps and processing instructions for their removal. In the theoretical section summarizes theoretical knowledge related to information systems in the Czech School Inspection. In the next part of the information systems in the Czech School Inspection and primary schools of the Central Region and Prague. The use of information resources (12 years ago, 6 years ago and now). The practical part is the analysis of the results of research carried out a questionnaire survey among school inspectors of the Central Inspectorate and Prague Inspectorate, heads of primary schools in Central Bohemia and Prague. The final section highlights the advantages and disadvantages in the field of information systems and offers suggestions for changes in the structure of external and internal information system.
Educational system from the perspective of inspection reports

The dissertation focuses on the assessment of the content of the inspection reports of the Czech School Inspectorate (CSI) in the context of the main stategical documents concerning the Czech educacional policy since the publication of the National Programme of the Development of Education in the Czech Republic (The White Book) in 2001. The thesis comprises of the historical introduction of the state supervision over schools in Bohemia and the extent of competency of the Czech School Inspectorate, which is currently conducting the schools external evaluation. The CSI provides the feedback to the schools through the inspection reports and the feedback to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports through the annual reports. The dissertation examines the compliance of the contents of the inspection reports and the strategical documents of the Ministry of Education.
Creation of educational programs and editing possibilities

The Bachelor degree dissertion consists of the creation and possible changes in primary school educational programmes. Based on the knowledge of the conclusions of the thematic reports of the Czech School Inspectorate and the questionnaire survey mapping out the changes in school educational programmes and draws attention to their most frequent shortcomings. The research part of the dissertation focuses on the findings of the most frequently changed area of school educational programmes further to internal and external assessment. The frequency of the changes is subsequently compared with the assessment of compliance of school educational programmes with the Framework Education Programme for primary education of the Czech School Inspectorate. Further to the current situation a section is also included in the dissertation applying to the proposed amendment of the School Act applying to changes in the creation of framework educational and school educational programmes. The dissertation concludes with a draft concise manual for primary school headmasters containing recommendations for creating and changing school education programmes based on the experience of school headmasters and the assessments of the Czech School Inspectorate.
