Involvement of selected churches in České Budějovice in social work and conception of social work of the churches
HÁJEK, Petr
The aim of my own bachelor thesis is to outline the historical evolution (genesis) of charity activity of individual pre-selected churches on the basis of study of professional literature, to analyze the meaning and meaning of charity activity within the society and the particular church organization. To find out the current scope, meaning and perspectives of specific forms of social work in selected churches or churches. I want to achieve goals through qualitative and semi-structured interviews with communication partners. I will have prepared questions and, if a new and interesting topic is discovered, there will be room for him to devote himself fully to having space for him. From individual interviews, I expect a detailed insight into the issue of the influence of churches on social work in the city of České Budějovice, enriched by opinions of volunteer participants in the research. The identities of people and names of the organizations where the communication partners work will remain confidential. I have an agreement with them to keep anonymity. Records of conversations made on a mobile phone must be deleted by written request. The contribution of my bachelor thesis is the mapping of the content and forms of charity work of selected churches in historical development in connection with the needs of the given society on the one hand and the possibilities of the churches on the other. With the help of semi-structured interviews with selected church / church members, I want to find out what forms of the present Church are using in practical social work, how effective they are from their point of view and how they have a perspective in today's society at a given stage of social development and the status of the Church or churches.

Kohoutek, Lukáš ; Lorman, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee)
The present dissertation on the topic of The Moral content and influence of Christian manuals on sexual ethics opens with the definitions of key terms and the establishment of a methodology for a sample SWOT analysis of the chosen texts. First, the current state of scientific knowledge of human sexuality is charted both within the sphere of natural sciences and the humanities. Next, the teachings of the Magisterium on sexuality in marriage are presented, evaluated and finally confronted with the findings of modern sciences. In this way, a complex view of human sexuality both "from below" and "from the top" emerges. A SWOT analysis of manuals on sexual ethics, modified for the purpose of this study, has been carried out based on these findings. The output of the analysis suggests a potential influence of the contents and forms of these texts on their readers. The study concludes with a formulation of several recommendations, which might contribute not only to the improvement of the quality of the handbooks but, more importantly, also to the improvement of the relationship of young people to the positive teachings of the Church on human sexuality.
