eLearning - Operational and System Analysis

This graduation project deals with the analysis of the actual state of the eLearning, teaching aids available and the proposal of the proper teaching aid for subject The Operations and System Analysis. The whole project is divided into the five parts. The first one is the introduction, the second part defines and concretises the main goal and used methods of this thesis. Further chapter contains theoretical explications of the given topic from the point of view of several authors and other resources. The fourth part pursues the comparison and analysis of the existing software. The results of this analysis, their presentation and evaluation you can find, together with the proper teaching aid prototype, in the last chapter.
Blended Learning

This thesis is focused on a new approach of education called blended learning. The history and developement of Blended Learning is described in the first part. Then the methods and tools of Blended Learning are evaluated and compared to the traditional methods of education. At the final part an efficient developement of the educational programs is emphasized.
Electronic learning materials in tertiary education

The thesis is focused on learning materials at University of Economics Prague. In the con-text of modern trends in tertiary education it highlights opportunities to improve learning process with electronic learning materials. The theoretical part discusses the role of learn-ing materials and e-learning in tertiary education. The practical part then continues to ana-lyse the current situation of learning materials at the University of Economics. The main focus of the thesis is on the availability of high quality electronic learning materials. When looking for possible solutions the thesis also explores approaches used at other universities in the Czech Republic and abroad. It concludes with evaluation of possible solutions and makes recommendations for improving the situation with electronic learning materials at the University of Economics.
Ways of using e-learning in teaching of physics at basic school

Thesis theoretical part based on research describes the different types of e-learning with its development and particularly with pedagogical context in elementary school, and also with its psychosocial aspects. Presents the possibility of using the multimedia in Physics teaching. Furthermore, the practical part describes a concrete deployment of LMS Moodle for Physics teaching - branch Fluids for the blended learning teaching style and compares it with the traditional way of teaching.
The Role of e-Learning Environment in the Current High School

This thesis deals with distance education in the setting of high schools. The first part describes the history, then the possibility of e learning and its basic components. Another part is focused on the description of the current offer of educational systems. The practical part focuses on the characterization and comparison of LMS systems. The last chapter deals with ways of graduation at the Faculty of Management and describes the courses with which students have the most problems.
Blended learning in Education of Managers

Preparing of multimedia learning materials for support teaching

Thesis deals with the multimedia, their use in education and the creation of multimedia educational materials, serving to support the teaching of Informatics at the University of Economics in Prague. Specifically, the creation of video tutorials whose content is graphic solution of selected tasks in text editor MS Word. Created tutorials are then confronted with the users in the evaluation feedback. The thesis documents the process of creating from planning to final distribution, provides used and alternative tools and last but not least, states comments and recommendations resulting from the experience of own creation. Furthermore, the thesis deals with ensuring suitable distribution of video tutorials to users by using web services and definition of visual style, which should serve followers, who have decided to expand the collection. The thesis itself should also serve as a tool and set of procedures for teachers and trainers who would like to implement multimedia materials and integrate them into their own teaching. The thesis evaluates a questionnaire survey where respondents are asked about multimedia in their learning process. The questionnaire also provided space for feedback, where users rated created multimedia materials. Last the questionnaire was aimed to map the use of portable devices that support multimedia and their potential in relation to teaching.
Developing qualification in informatics using hybrid learning

Dissertation focuses on issues of ICT skills in relation to the development of hybrid forms of teaching (education), its potential application in developing skills, education and practice. The work focuses mainly on methodological issues and approaches to capacity, information and communication technologies to effectively deploy and use in improving skills of future and current workforce. The main goal of the thesis is based on the results of surveys and analysis of statistical data suggest methodological solutions for qualifying projects respecting the development of the newly defined needs of computer science, or other qualification, taking account of new technologies in ICT. The analytical part is devoted to a comprehensive view on the issue of education in computer science. The classification of roles and professions in computer science is defined, the knowledge domain and analytical conclusions followed with the application of job classification and specified uses. Concepts in project management qualification are analyzed and unified. Surveys of the current situation in the management skills of ICT professionals in the world and the CR are also presented and analyzed. There are identified trends in improving the management skills of projects in connection with the development and promotion of ICT technologies and tools. The application part is devoted to methodological design solutions and builds upon the results of the analysis. There are the major components of the methodology defined and the qualifying phase of the project at the conceptual level designed. The following are classified ICT tools supporting the educational processes in the project management skills. The final part of the doctoral thesis is focused on the evaluation of proposals processed and experience of implementing new approaches and technologies in education in computer science. This section summarizes and evaluates the results of the surveys carried out consecutively evaluated experiences are associated with implementations of qualifying projects using ICT technologies.
