Calculation of heat and force field UniGear ZS1

The aim of my work is to describe high-voltage switchgear type UniGear 500R, which is part of UniGear switchgears family. I will focus on heating issue of one 500R unit and its parts during operation. Maximum values of this heating is limited by standards and can´t be exceed to ensure safe and reliable operation. That is why the heating tests are necessary part of designing and developing switchgears. Calculation will be made by two different ways. First is classic one-pole heating net method and second is numerical simulation in Solidworks flow simulation program. Except the theoretical description there will be presented also used 3D model and explanation of both method, used to calculation and simulation. Last point of this work is measuring of this type of switchgear and getting real data. The main point there is to compare measured values with values calculated and decide if is possible to simulate tests with appropriate accuracy. Then would be also possible to substitute the real test in laboratory, which costs many thousand crowns and takes lots hours of time. This work is collaborated with EJF division of ABB Company, where I am employed. Heating issues in this company is always on process, because of developing and improving of their products. So this work could be helpful in this field. ABB provides all materials needed, especially technical catalogues, 3D model and final values from laboratory measuring. Support from college faculty is mainly in study consultations and proposing of calculations making. In the end of work will be make final comparison and evaluation of achieved results.

This thesis describes an analysis of the design of the bolted connection pivot plate-wheel of bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer loader. The challenge solution is to decide whether the current design is suitable. The thesis contains comparison of calculation according to VDI regulation with the ČSN, performing stress analysis using FEM calculation model and a design of changes, joint bearings with steel structures.
Static verification and variant design of load-carrying structures of administrative center

The aim of this thesis was to develop assessments of existing supporting structure of a rectangular object and design of new options for rectangular and cylindrical object administrative center in the Jihomoravská plynárenská, a.s. in Brno. According to the task have been recalculated construction and design of new structures in accordance with applicable standards. New design of both buildings (rectangular and cylindrical) came from several studies.
Description and Evaluation of Fastener Torque Characteristics of Screw Connection

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the description and evaluation of the torque characteristics of screw connection in plastic parts in headlight. The evaluation was compared with the same screws from three different suppliers. Compered was the course of torque when screwing. The work also includes analysis of the current state of knowledge in the use of plastics in the automotive industry and joining plastic parts. There is more emphasis on shaping joining screws.
Technological process of mounting of the LED light source on the reflector for a car headlamp

Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat současnou situaci technologického procesu montáže LED zdroje na světlomet automobilu a nalézt a navrhnout řešení ke snížení počtu výpadků ve výrobě. Technologický proces montáže zahrnuje umístění a upevnění LED zdroje (s interním označením „F-LUX“) na reflektor. Sestava musí splňovat požadovaný optický výstup a sériový takt linky. Na základě analýzy technologického procesu jsou navrženy optimalizace.
Gas station roof structure

My task was to propose and consider steel structure roof of gas station. Dimensions of construction were determined based on transport service of the 8 supply points. Construction is situated in Zlin. Static calculation of the main bearing elements was made with Dlubal RFEM v.5.03 software. Selected structure elements including joints and column anchors were verified manualy.

Design of Automation of Some Steel Structures Elements

The aim of the presented thesis is to create a program for automatic assessment of bolted and welded connections. The program uses procedures mentioned in the ČSN EN 1993-1-8. The comparison of the program is verified by the comparison of suitable chosen examples of analytical solution. The purpose of the program is to make the draft of bolted and welded connections more efficient.
Office building with production hall

The aim of this diploma´s thesis is to design steel-concrete structure of the office building and steel structure of production hall situated in Moravské Budějovice. The dimensions of the office building are 48,0 x 60,0 meters and height is 17,0 meters. The main constructional material is S 255 steel and C30/37 concrete. The load bearing structure of the hall consists of the columns, primary and secondary beams. The axial distance of columns is 6 meters (5 meters). The dimensions of the production hall are 24,0 x 60,0 meters and height is 12,0 meters. Inside the production hall is craneway. An analysis of two solutions of the supporting structure was performed. The first variant is consists of rigid frames. Truss girder in the second variant is an alternative solution. Both variants were compared and the amount of steel was found. The selected option was developed in greater details with static calculation, drawings and material report. The static analysis of the main load bearing parts of the structure is processed. The calcuation were made in accordance with the European design codes.
The Roofing of Terraces of a Stadium

My task was to propose and consider steel structure of roofing of a terraces on an athletic stadium. Terraces, with the ground-plan dimensions 12,0 x 80,0 m, are designed as a reinforced concrete structure and its structural analysis is not included in this thesis. Construction is situated in area of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, which meant, It had to be accounted with considerable variable loads (wind, snow), which is associated with enlargement of a cross-sections. Cross sections of the main elements were proposed and considered and also selected joints and details of the structure. Assigned drawings are included in attachments of the thesis.
