The Influence of Social Networks on Parents in Relation to Infant and Toddler Nutrition
Hromadová, Lenka ; Weidenthalerová, Edita (advisor) ; Honzejková, Kateřina (referee)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the influence of social networks on parental decision-making regarding infant and toddler feeding. Early nutrition is critical to child development and influences future health. Parenting is a decision-filled challenge, especially with such a vast amount of information from various sources, including social media, which can cause confusion and uncertainty about the best childcare. The aim of this paper is to assess how much parents trust information from influencers compared to expert recommendations, and how social media influences their preferences regarding their children's nutrition. The theoretical section covers the basics of nutrition in the first three years of life, including breastfeeding, infant formula, and transition to solid foods. The practical part explores how parents use social networks as a source of information about infant and toddler nutrition and how this information influences their decision-making. This section also analyses trends and myths on social media. The results show that parents strongly trust pediatricians and consider them a reliable source of information on child nutrition, in contrast to low trust in advice and recommendations from influencers. This result suggests that parents tend to rely on verified experts. Providing accurate and...
Lobbying in the Czech Republic - Analysis of perception and possibilities of lobbying regulation from the point of view of relevant entities
Čáp, Tomáš ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Jágr, David (referee)
aj - Tomáš Čáp The thesis focuses on the theoretical knowledge in the field of lobbying as well as on the means of regulation of this global phenomenon. The topic of lobbying links the humanities across political science, sociology, economics and law, with each of these disciplines contributing its part to the general body of knowledge. As the theoretical section shows, there are few unifying elements in academia in terms of definitions, as each political system works with concepts and definitions differently. The theoretical part also focuses on attempts to regulate lobbying in the Czech Republic, both to increase transparency and trust in the legislative process. Or because of public pressure due to an extremely bad media image. The practical part of the thesis then links academic knowledge in the field of lobbying and its regulation with the results of research conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with representatives of key lobbying sectors and institutions. The thesis includes a comparison of the research results with the draft law on the regulation of lobbying, which has been approved by the government of the Czech Republic. The result of the work is a set of recommendations for a future law on lobbying, which the potential draft should contain. Such a proposal must be...

Echo of the Kremlin on TikTok: Analyses of Pro-Russian Narratives in the Czech digital space
Mecková, Silvie ; Vochocová, Lenka (advisor) ; Nečas, Vlastimil (referee)
The thesis focuses on pro-Russian narratives on the social network TikTok in the context of the Czech Republic. The aim is to find out what narratives are spread by pro-Russian profiles on TikTok that are Czech-speaking. The thesis also aims to determine by what means the narratives are transmitted. At a time when social media is playing an increasingly important role in geopolitical strategies and information warfare, TikTok represents not only a means for sharing entertaining content but also a platform for spreading manipulative information and supporting Russian interests. An analysis of the narratives of pro-Russian profiles on TikTok reveals that these posts often fuel polarisation, undermine trust in democratic institutions and undermine the unity of Western societies. The paper thus contributes to a better understanding of the mechanisms of information warfare in the digital age and highlights the need for effective measures to defend against disinformation campaigns.
Methodology for increasing the capacity of local actors for sustainable development of the region
Dlouhá, Jana ; Pospíšilová, Marie ; Petiška, Eduard ; Dlouhý, Jiří ; Macháčková Henderson, Laura
An analysis of the needs of rural and small communities in terms of sustainability shows that the preconditions for initiating change are, among others, in the social sphere: these include social capital (trust, developed relationships between actors, joint activities) and education appropriate to the conditions of the region (shaping local identity). The Methodology proposes how relationships and cooperation in a given place can be shaped and subsequently used to improve the quality of life in all its dimensions - social, environmental and economic. It shows practices for shaping local culture and lifestyle, presents the experience of the Movement for Change, recapitulates the principles of social entrepreneurship, and refers to existing forms of cooperation in community projects. It shows that opportunities for education, especially based on locally embedded learning, are lacking so that a shared understanding of sustainability principles in the regions to ensure a general awareness of local UR resources and opportunities is missing.

Laurichová, Veronika ; Lederer, Vít (advisor) ; Frinta, Ondřej (referee)
Legal Status of the Settlor of a Trust Abstract The thesis focuses on the legal regulation of the settlor of a trust within the Czech legal system. The first two chapters of the thesis contain a definition of the Czech trust and a brief overview of the process of its incorporation into the Czech legal system. The legal regulation of trusts under Czech law was inspired by the legal regulation of the trust of the Canadian province of Quebec. The third chapter covers the purpose of a trust. The settlor sets aside property into the trust for a private or publicly beneficial purpose. The administration of the assets must always be in accordance with the purpose of the trust. The fourth chapter focuses on the process of creating a trust. It deals with the difference between creating a trust during the settlor's lifetime and creating it through a disposition mortis causa. The subject of the fifth chapter is a definition of the trust's by-laws and...

Privacy Preserving Smart-Contract Platforms and E-Voting
Najprv predstavíme teoretické základy v oblasti volebných systémov, blockchainové technológie, smart kontrakty, technológie dôverného výpočtu a v neposlednom rade jednotlivé platformy na ochranu súkromia. Po návrhu kľúčových častí smart kontraktov prechádzame k implementácií, kde diskutujeme o našich skúsenostiach, o použitých nástrojoch, o spôsobe zbere a vyhodnotenia štatistík a o metódach testovania.
Differential-based deepfake speech detection
