Recognized information is divided into six spheres, e.g. legal norm, financing, membership, focused activity, presentation for the public, staff and material funding. According to acquired information from these thematic spheres, separate institutions are compared and their common characteristics or the specifics of single respondents are checked. This work is established for everybody who wants to acquire basic information on free time institutions and know more about some of these organizations.

Cytomegalovirus infection after kidney transplantation
Reischig, Tomáš ; Třeška, Vladislav (advisor) ; Viklický, Ondřej (referee) ; Zadražil, Josef (referee) ; Pazdiora, Petr (referee)
1 SUMMARY Cytomegalovirus (CMV) disease is a common infectious complication in patients after solid organ transplantation. The last decade witnessed major advances in CMV disease prevention. Use of universal prophylaxis or preemptive therapy resulted in a decrease in the incidence of CMV disease from 20-60% to 5-20%. However, the efficacy of preventive approaches in terms of indirect effects of CMV occurrence is problematic. Association with allograft rejection belongs to well documented and clinically extremely important indirect effects of CMV with a prolonged adverse impact on graft survival. Potential mechanisms include overexpression of major histocompatibility complex molecules, growth factors and cytokines, and upregulation of adhesion molecules. A number of questions remain to be answered in evaluating CMV as a risk factor for acute rejection. While CMV disease is associated with an increased incidence of acute rejection, data regarding the role of asymptomatic CMV viremia are controversial. In our research we evaluated the role of CMV in pathogenesis of allograft rejection in the era of modern immunosuppression and CMV prophylaxis as well as optimal preventive strategy to minimize impact of CMV. In the first trial, renal transplant (RTx) recipients were followed prospectively for 12 months to...

Case study - Lobbying of the Act No. 180/2005 Coll.
Řezáč, Tomáš ; Mrklas, Ladislav (advisor) ; Opatrný, Aleš (referee)
Case study - Lobbying o f the Act No. 180/2005 Coll. (Law on Support fo r Electricity Generation from Renewable Energy Sources) is a study following legislative procedure of the Act No. 180/2005 Coll. It focuses primarily on the influence of interest groups, which were participating on law making of the particular act. The study firstly deals in general features with theoretical preconditions for lobbying in the Czech Republic, in order to set a background for a consequent case study. These theoretical conditions are partly verified and partly refuted in the case study. The theoretical part of the work firstly depicts the term of lobbying; secondly it surveys predisposition of legislative procedure to be lobbied. In the case study itself, the work pursues the ways and extent, in which lobbying is carried out. It analyses behavior of political parties, interest groups and professional associations during lobbying the Act No. 180/2005 Coll. In the end of the paper, the author looks, on basis of the case study outputs, for correlation between a lobbying subject and a type of lobbying used during influencing of the law-making. The paper is first of this kind in the Czech Republic. Because there are no analogous studies in scope of Czech political science, hence the author doesn't attempt a deep and...

Saint Wenceslas' Church at Smichov
Sládeček, Petr ; Novotná, Eva (advisor) ; Bydžovská, Lenka (referee)
In the end of the nineteen century Smíchov was rapidly growing industrial suburb, but it lacked church, big enough, to shelter its believers. Tender on new church established in 1878 won Antonín Barvitius and Ignác Ullman. However in Archive of National technical museum, I found some interesting letters, which seems to prove that architect Schulz had originally won the tender. His project had to be redone. Finally the local authority authorized architect Ullmann to design new project. After Ullmann retirement, the project was finished by his brother-in-Law Barvitius. This fact is also mentioned in catholic magazine "Method". There is another interesting fact: Architect Schulz completed his project in 1876. But oldest project by architect Ullmann is dated 1877. Work, which lasted from 1880 to 1885 was finished by Barvitius only. The building of the church was sponsored by local authority, many associations and even by Emperor himself. Even the Archbishop had frequently visited construction site. Its interior reminds early Christian basilica, it was decorated by well known artists of thet era: Sequens, Vosmík, Šimek, Sucharda, Pirner etc. Its exterior, however was built in Toscana Renaissance, and is fine example of successful combination of bricks and various materials. Although the architect had to...

Unconventional Signals Oscillators
Hruboš, Zdeněk ; Galajda, Pavol (referee) ; Štork, Milan (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
Dizertační práce se zabývá elektronicky nastavitelnými oscilátory, studiem nelineárních vlastností spojených s použitými aktivními prvky a posouzením možnosti vzniku chaotického signálu v harmonických oscilátorech. Jednotlivé příklady vzniku podivných atraktorů jsou detailně diskutovány. V doktorské práci je dále prezentováno modelování reálných fyzikálních a biologických systémů vykazujících chaotické chování pomocí analogových elektronických obvodů a moderních aktivních prvků (OTA, MO-OTA, CCII ±, DVCC ±, atd.), včetně experimentálního ověření navržených struktur. Další část práce se zabývá možnostmi v oblasti analogově – digitální syntézy nelineárních dynamických systémů, studiem změny matematických modelů a odpovídajícím řešením.

In the Whirl of Events: the Y.W.C.A. and the Civic Society in 1948.
Appeltová, Michaela ; Sokolová, Věra (advisor) ; Havelka, Miloš (referee)
This thesis concentrates on the "other" subject of history writing, once an important women's organisation in Czechoslovakia, the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) and from its perspective analyzes the changes that occurred in the NGOs sector after the communist takeover in February 1948. At first the thesis deals with its programme as well as the activities from its founding until 1948. Archive materials are in this part supplemented with the memories of its members. The main part of the thesis addresses the changes after 1948. It proves that the Communist Party did not have a clear vision of the extent of ideological control it would seek over the society - the thesis describes discussions about the structure of women and youth mass organisations that continued long after February 1948; the Communist Party indecisiveness about whether to liquidate the YWCA or merge it with one of the mass organisations; also a concern for the international consequences of liquidating the YWCA may have played its role in the communist indecisiveness. Further, the thesis describes the process of liquidating associations, intitutionalising the National Administrators in charge of the associations for the purpose of exercising better political control, and/or merging the associations with mass organisations. On the...
